Something I like is that Credo, Agnus and Sanctus all have demonic forms based on how they understand Sparda. Credo looks divine and angelic, reflecting how he sees Sparda as a holy figure. Agnus on the other hand looks like a bug, which is actually closer to what Sparda looks like than anyone else because he doesn't really care about holy or unholy ideas, he's just in it for the science and power. Finally Sanctus' true form is just straight up demonic, showing he only cared about what Sparda was rather than who he was. And then there's Dante, his actual son, who isn't that fussed about his image of his father and his devil trigger, which as of this game has reached its mature final form, has only a few similarities to Sparda but is very clearly Dante. Not a reflection or imitation of his father, but his own individual form.
I would say Agnus looks like a bug because he sees Sparda as something to be studied (much how bugs and such are dissected for science), not that he doesn't care about the holy or unholy ideas as he's directly working for Sanctus and seems to hard into his ideas. "I shall become an Angel" and all that. Also Sparda doesn't look like a bug IMO.
Nah Agnus looks like a bug just because he's a coward I think. Credo was a good guy, and Sanctus was an evil bastard. Simple. But Sparda theory is fun too.

11:44-11:57 Good eye. This series does use the "red oni and blue oni" trope in the form of wardrobe color to represent and invoke a sense of the character's personality. Nero wears quite a bit of red like Dante because both are emotional and passionate in what they do (they follow their hearts). Due to the shade of Nero's coat it can look black but other times a very very dark blue, that also brings Vergil to mind, implying Nero has a connection to him as well. (So Nero's clothes (maybe even his hairstyle, effective at making him look a lot like Dante) tell us that he has a similar personality to Dante, but also has a connection to Vergil) You were actually already on the right track by this point. 1:03:39 How ironic...using Holy Water against a priest.
I didn't dislike the backtracking that much to begin with because all the areas imo look prettier than all the other games (including DMCV), but after DMCV I really liked the decision in hindsight...the only major gripe I had with DMCV is that most areas (and the bosses unless you're going through bloody palace) are exclusive to one character and DMC4 didn't have that problem at all. My favorite playable characters by far are Vergil and Dante and while you can play the whole story as Vergil you only have a handful of chapters to play as Dante...it would've been cool if they allowed subsequent playthroughs as any character for any chapter

@40:05 The reason Trish disguises herself as Gloria is likely because the Order of the Sword knows what Trish looks like. Maybe not exactly Trish, but Eva, Dante's mom and Sparda's wife. The legend of Sparda used to be famous and they made a religion around him. Sanctus even knew Dante by name and they were never introduced to each other. He quickly connected the dots that Trish was Gloria when she appeared before him without the disguise. "Oh, it's you. Gloria."
1:07:13 YESSSS!! DMC4 has my favorite soundtrack of all the DMC games, and that's SAYING something with absolute masterpieces like the original DMC and DMC5
Devil May Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 2 are the only games that can successfully have multiple main characters good stuff. If you haven't tried Metal Gear you will love the storyline as well as the game play its literally a "master piece"
You know what I totally never noticed all this time? Virgil's VA voiced Credo. Wtf, that's impressive. I could not hear him in that. Props to Daniel Southworth 👏
after your DMC3 video, this is all that I needed, I cant wait for DMC 5 :D EDIT: 19:46 you were SO SO SO SO SO LUCKY in that part, because if you dont land EXACTLY in the final spot, the figure just continues backwards making it a very tedious part and to avoid this you have to hit the dice with your DEVIL ARM to get the number you want from the dice on purpose, and you did not complete that part using that :o
51:22 I DIDNT KNOW DANTE HAD A BRIEFCASE THAT CAN TURN INTO A MINIGUN IN 4!! 51:30 AND THAT IT COULD TURN INTO A ROCKET LAUNCHER!! 51:40 AND A BIG FRICKING SHURIKEN (that reminds me of the one from “Ninja Blade”)!!
Credo is not only my favorite DMC4 boss but also my favorite boss in the series as a whole. His boss fight is just so freaking sick and cinematic especially when fighting against him as Nero or Vergil(Nero's unique buster animations with him are also insanely sick and brutal too and just makes it that much better). Also the fight during the story mode just gives heavy Dante vs Vergil vibes. Also I LOVE Credo's difficulty. He's a difficult boss that actually requires a lot of skill to beat and doesn't really have any bullshit induced difficulty, it's purely skill based difficulty. Such a well made boss honestly, and his design is just sick and combined with that crazy soundtrack it's just....GOD it's so good.
Dmc4 is a game I love completely unconditionally, despite it's massive horrible glaring flaws. They literally make you fight every boss in the game multiple times EXCEPT credo, the best of the bunch by a country a mile. And then they make probably the second worst boss in the game (after the savior IMO) the final boss, which is also a refight. Right after a long tedious dice rolling mini game where you fight all the major bosses for a 3rd time God I love it so much. I've played it at least 10 times, and it's a treat discovering just how unfinished it is every time I come back
I believe I can give only 1 answer to your question at 40:05, the disguise helped her be at the meetings of the Order where his holiness was attending. If there are more reasons for the disguise then I'm just not in the mood to google it.
Nero’s voice actor is Johnny young Bosch, massive in the voice acting scene (and was a mighty morphin power ranger) even voices Ichigo from the anime Bleach

"I swear I gonna get us out of here!"
Don't cry Nero, please ;-;
Originally Gloria was supposed to be her own character and become Nero's love interest. But that changed in development.
1:08:48 ah yes the "see you in 10 years" hand gesture
tbh DMC5 is my fav one so I am really excited to go through that story with you :3
Can't wait to see the Devil May Cry 5 playthrough!!!
shall never surrenders it's hitting me man ,
i used to listen this masterpiece when it launched I remember .
i was a big fan of nero and kyrie's story
Did u know u can see dante watchin nero fight those demons
The real dante fight is so freakin hard... Took me a good while to do it
@40:05 The reason Trish disguises herself as Gloria is likely because the Order of the Sword knows what Trish looks like. Gloria."
I've been waiting for this!
now in anticipation fo DMC5, I know you're gonna love it.
I don't know who made dante as a boss in this game but he/she must have put every piece of hate in doing it to make it this difficult.
You know what I totally never noticed all this time? Virgil's VA voiced Credo. Wtf, that's impressive. I could not hear him in that. Props to Daniel Southworth 👏
It's not him it's Terence J. Rotolo
after your DMC3 video, this is all that I needed, I cant wait for DMC 5 :D
EDIT: 19:46 you were SO SO SO SO SO LUCKY in that part, because if you dont land EXACTLY in the final spot, the figure just continues backwards making it a very tedious part and to avoid this you have to hit the dice with your DEVIL ARM to get the number you want from the dice on purpose, and you did not complete that part using that :o
And now we need a dmc 5 full video
I can't wait for you to try out DMC5! You'll definitely love it for sure!
Whats interesting here is that there are no actual angels in the DMC lore, yet.
Also according to the games "character info" about the "knights" they have fragments of Vergil's soul in them
DMC knows how to make boss battles. Thank you for posting this on a lazy sunday for all of us to enjoy.
Man, I just stumbled on this channel, and I just gotta say I love your DMC series.
Badass!!! One of my favorites!! The combos are insane!!!
The stinger spam was so good
Lmao no hate tho I'm enjoying the series
Thank you For your videos I love all your reactions hahah Devil May Cry is my favourite game Saga can’t wait to see you playing Devil May Cry 5 😁
Low-key was waiting for this upload.
Shall Never Surrender is so good.
LOL the Gloria intro is such a mess!
LMAO I was in shock
Dmc4 is a game I love completely unconditionally, despite it's massive horrible glaring flaws.
They literally make you fight every boss in the game multiple times EXCEPT credo, the best of the bunch by a country a mile. And then they make probably the second worst boss in the game (after the savior IMO) the final boss, which is also a refight. Right after a long tedious dice rolling mini game where you fight all the major bosses for a 3rd time
God I love it so much. I've played it at least 10 times, and it's a treat discovering just how unfinished it is every time I come back
Can't believe they attempted to reboot the series after this awesome game, I'm so glad it flopped or else we wouldn't have gotten DMC5.
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE, LOVE IT!
I had only just found your account the other day through your other DMC videos. Glad to see this one get posted so soon after
I can't wait to see her reactions to the questions 4 didn't answer about Nero that 5 answers
Wow I just spoke this into existence an hour ago! I said I wonder when she’s going to post DMC4🤣
I love you Sarah!
I'm so excited to see what you think of this game!
Fact: Nero is the son of Virgil and the nephew of Dante. And the grandson of Sparda himself.
I believe I can give only 1 answer to your question at 40:05, the disguise helped her be at the meetings of the Order where his holiness was attending.
If there are more reasons for the disguise then I'm just not in the mood to google it.
24:15 Me when Dante was revealed as a Mii skin immediately followed by my reaction to Doom Slayer as a Mii Skin.
You will absolutely love 5. It is such a GREAT game.
ohhhhhh maaaannn you're going to love 5
Can’t wait to see u play dmc 5. The 5th one is super awesome
I've been waiting for this.
8:13 yup, yUP, YUP
PS: 1:13:29 I think that's the motion capture's actress for Trish and Lady
DmC game series is so good for learning about patience and never giving up
Nero’s voice actor is Johnny young Bosch, massive in the voice acting scene (and was a mighty morphin power ranger) even voices Ichigo from the anime Bleach
