Data Battles, especially in KH3 are the canon power levels of the antagonists. So you could say that this is the canon power level of Sora (just earlier).
I have so much more respect for KH3 Sora now

@@chaminador yeah, but he did have trouble fighting a single beserker in 3 when he bodies them in 2 including multiple at a time
@@Cornholio174 In fairness, when he got into trouble with the berserker, he still hadn't regained the powers he lost, which he seems to have regained towards the end of the game.
The equip menu probably freaked out like that because you got an armor slot from one of the last few fights

Pretty cathartic to see some bosses I had trouble with on my first playthrough get melted so fast.

I'm curious. What would happen if you combine 2 mods? This one and the mod that removes the damage ceiling. How fast could you defeat bosses and would the game even handle it?

The fact that you even need a mod to fix the scaling so your stats actually function correctly is retarded. That run would be neat to see, though.
@@boyishdude1234The scaling is actually to keep the game fun. If you're going into an area at level 1 or 99 it'll compress the damage range to something that allows for a good fight. Although yes I feel like a damage ceiling is a bit dumb
@@cking1340 Not every person finds the idea of having their stats stop functioning against the superbosses after ~80 each fun and enjoyable, so how can you say that the damage ceiling exists to make the game more enjoyable to play? This also isn't how the scaling works. At "Level 1" the player's base stats are automatically increased in the background to amounts that often far exceed what a Level 1 player would naturally be able to acquire with equipment, and the system is based on the battle level of the area. In a regular playthrough where you're leveling up as intended each boss fight has an individualized damage ceiling that prevents the player's stats from functioning beyond specific thresholds in order to force the boss to "provide a challenge" (basically it punishes players for grinding, which makes intentionally grinding or overleveling pointless).
No matter how you slice it this is just bad game design. Players in RPGs should be rewarded for going out of their way to get extremely high stats, and Level 1 players shouldn't have Base Level 50 stats when fighting a superboss.

I honestly love to use photon debugger on master form, the lightning spell is a mobility for you, with the shock charms and photon to buff this will make for some insane wave clear.
My favorite form is Master form because of the lightning cartwheels

I agree 100%! I hate to start over each time after putting in all those hours of grinding on each world and getting the best items. I love this series so much though, so I just can't stop playing it.

I think would be better with a mod in which you start with everything, and every time you complete a world, or defeat a boss or something like that, you have to randomly get rid of an ability, magic, summon or form.

This is great. I had an Action Replay/Gameshark growing up, and after beating KH2 for the 5th time, I did what you did- maxed out everything. Of course, this was OG KH2, not Final Mix like you’re playing. Thanks for bringing back all the memories!

Feels nice coming back to this game franchise and beating it from the very start. I 100% completed KH1 (except that red trinity in halloweentown OGs know), rechain of memories both sora and riku, 358/2 days (sidenote I have a video where i fell thru the map also on halloweentown) currently working on 100% KH2 now. I stumbled across your video and that is so unbelievably cool whom ever put the time and energy into modding our lonely little disney game I thank you imma have to give it a try once I finish it up

I've never played a kingdom hearts game but have heard about it basically all my life, this game would've been out when i was like 6 playing the ratchet and clank games, if i had seen this kind of gameplay and combat system back then it probably would've been my favorite game series.

No different if you lose your memory and learn a different tool kits of skills. 2 Sora didn't learn most of these moves In Kh1. Stop spreading False information. You can grow further when you're not content on using the same skills in life. No different than just staying in one language.

I had this because back in the ps2 era you can get a disc of kingomhearts chests and I did that when I was little and it was so amazing but it was the regular kingdom hearts 2 idk if it works with kh2fm

Wait so does the damage ceiling also account for things like Combo Boosts or Fire Boosts or can those be upped further?
The elemental boosts can bypass the ceiling. Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder boost easily deals way more damage than you should.
I think combo boost does the same, but I'm not entirely sure. Warrior's Path rando would likely answer that question.
The grind to lv 99 is a real one but with Kingdom Hearts it's pretty fun.
Final Form Fire does add Revenge Value, but what it does do is hit with multiple hitboxes at the same time, bosses can not retaliate while being hit by certain hitboxes at the same time, you can observe this by doing shit while they're being hit by Goofy Tornado, Final Form's Keyblades being driven by "Crime & Punishment" are distinct from the actual Fire spell, so you get the same overlapping hitbox effect(I can't recall if its because its multiple different hitbox types connecting at the same time, or if its just that AI attacks like party members or auto-hitboxes prevent them)
No this is incorrect, final form fire doesn't add revenge value because something is hitting the boss during the fire, just like party members. You can observe this by using a multitude of mods to see the boss revenge value in real time. What DOES add revenge value is something like double negative combo, and you can tell because bosses will continually attack for a long time after while you wait for their RV to go back down, where as with final form fire, you can very easily do regular combos afterwards because their RV is untouched

Alot of OP in KH2 but at the same time I think thats what made it an exciting game because there were so many moments for me that were "we're up to this already? I'm not strong enough". Of course the game is easy but they did a good job with the learning curve.

Roxas doesn't usually use Magic. Only Sora and Ventus can.

This mod is so cool, shame I can't get it to work. When I use it, all my rewards become ethers but I lose the ability option in the menu so I can't even look at them. I also remain level one with nothing unlocked.

Edit: With 300 Str, Mag, Def and AP, Megalixirs to replace stat and ability bonuses, and Maximum HP and MP the screen could show on Critical Mode?
