I’m so happy you made a maternity dress! I am 5 months pregnant and I have 2 wedding this summer and I can not find any formal dresses under $60 that I like!!!! Totally making me one now!

Hey, friendly heads up: remember to either have enough seam to take it out or make the dress very close to the wedding, beause those bumps can trip you up and it'd be a shame if they don't fit at the day of. Just something to be aware of.

ya, im not pregos but my cousin wife is ( until tomorrow, shes getting induced) and I wanted to get her a nice maternity dress but like plus size clothing maternity cloths are limited in style and colors and just look like ugle curtains made into shapless dresses. Plus the ones like this beautiful and nice are over 100$ so its ridiculous.

That lace overlay is so beautiful - really gorgeous cape shape. I would love to have a dress like that... in a different color. The ivory makes it look a bit like a wedding dress, perfect for a summer outdoor wedding.

Remember when the model tried on the dress and it was fitted around the bump? By having a seam there, the alterations could be more exact. Fitting a bump correctly requires more seams because you are tring to fit a flat surface (cloth) around a curve. Its the same basic principle when making garments for a large bust

I think it will be quicker for you though as you are younger and your bones will heal quicker. My husband is 55 yrs old so it will take some more time. It really sucks though!! Also, have you ever dyed fabric? For example, making faded jeans look blue again or changing a light shirt color to be darker? I messed up a black jean jacket by throwing it in the wash and I don't want to throw it out because other than being faded it still fits perfectly.

Kassie th-cam.com/video/jET-357NYyQ/w-d-xo.html This is a pretty good tutorial! Adding the dish soap is something you don't always see/hear about in other videos/blog posts; it makes sense and I think that it makes a huge difference in your material absorbing and holding onto the dye better! Be forewarned, she talks a lot in the beginning. lol You can skip ahead a bit for actual info!

How is the cape portion of this dress made? Is there a video on that? My daughter would like a cape added to her sleeveless dress to cover her arms. I love your work! You are so inspiring! Thanks!
