Chapter 16 cleared in 1 turn, leading to 34 turns so far in this maddening LTC by ‪@keb4007‬ and me.
This 1-turn clear is partly inspired by the normal mode clear of ‪@lapogne36‬. But there are a few key differences, one of which being that we need to Astra Storm Marni with the radiant bow because a physical bow is not enough to kill her. Compared to ‪@lapogne36‬, we also don't have a strong Alear with boots who could kill Marni and Mauvier in enemy phase, so instead we have to send Chloe for them via a different raging storm target.
Chloe's griffin class skill Clear The Way makes its debut in this clear, enabling Panette to reach a shoal tile that she could not normally reach. This goddess dance position allows Chloe and Ivy to get more exp by using physic on Goldmary, but it is not strictly necessary for this clear per se. Panette could alternatively dance on the thicket 1R1D of where she is in the video.
In this run, our Chloe overkills Marni because she has taken 5 energy drops from the ancient well. But it's worth mentioning that the 1-turn clear is still possible without these well "drops." With the DLC energy drop, as well as two more from Chapter 10 and Chapter 15 (both of which we skipped in this run), Chloe would still be able to kill Marni with a double crit using Edelgard-engraved killing edge.
