Hey Adam! Those are really cool accessories! I thought about the firmware update where you can hold the record button down to automatically delete a recording. I guess the way it works is that you have to short press it to stop recording before you turn it off now. I'm not sure if they should add a confirmation click to delete the recording or not though. Personally, I think they should have a trash can/recycle bin that you can either recover from or purge in the settings. Even though I've never lost any footage myself, having that would make me more comfortable.
Hey Tim, thanks for chiming in on the whole record button issue. Yeah, I usually record with the screen horizontal so when I flip it to vertical it'll just start automatically turning off. But I guess it's one of those unique situations where those of us who had it before would sometimes hold the record button in to turn it off. It would be nice if they did set up some trash bin situation that would automatically delete later but then you're dealing with taking up SD space.
Hey man, I'm wondering which stand you're using for the action cam in this clip. Been looking for something that could have the Osmo Pocket 3 stand on it's own. Lovely videos!

That is a real bum, pressing the off and doing a delete. Need to train the muscle memory to not do that. Just been on Amazon and ordered a UTEBIT Magnetic mount with a ball swivel. Some useful bits except for the iPhone clip, as I have the Manfrotto one. Like how clean the area and how nice those seats are. Like one in my garden. Best Dave

That's a good question. The one in my right hand in the thumbnail I think could possibly do it!
Great review, Adam. I really like Sunnylife products. I have a small aluminum expansion adapter from them and just ordered the plastic gimbal/screen protector and the plastic expansion adapter. I like how those two products fit the P3 like a glove.

That Clip to attach the pocket 3 to a backpack/slingbag strap is exactly what i was looking for!
my only question is if the hold is kind of loose? While walking and scootering/biking and if that would result in alot of unfortunate bounce and jiggle/unevenness to the footage. Its unfortunate that the scootering part of your video was deleted because that's probably exactly what i would like to do with my pocket 3 too!
Hello Maplemis, the swivel clip is quite sturdy and firm on its grip. Because the strap and clip are on your body, that is what really helps minimize the jiggle/unevenness to the footage. I'll likely be posting some future video of the clip and Pocket 3.
Hello Brother. Can you make a video of Action 4 recorded in 1080p with full auto mode not pro mode? I really want to see how the quality of 1080p action 4 video. I don't see reviewer interested in making that.

I have a magnetic base attached to my GoPro and it's super handy in a pinch. I want something like that for the pocket 3 but I'm too paranoid about the magnet not being strong enough and dropping it... like I have my gopro 🤦🏾♂️ Not sure the gimbal would survive a drop. You feel like the magnet is strong enough to withstand an accidental bump or strong wind on a lamppost?
from the round clip at the bottom, yeah...I'm pretty confident Anthony! The swivel clip is not as strong. But it would have to be pretty high winds (which I suppose happen in Colorado 😂)

I never thought about that, I never need to turn off the camera without stopping filming before... :) Great image once again! do you still need the ND filter with this 60fps/ shutter 1/120 in this video? Hello Michael, yeah I hope you can find them if it's something that interests you. Regarding needing the ND filter, it was such a overcast and cloudy day that I probably didn't need it 😂

So how do you turn it off now if your screen flip is not set to turn off?? I did the update and had no idea. THANKS!!! Maybe a video of all the things the firmware update changed if you could.
Hello Oron, yeah what I did wrong was not short pressing the record button to shut off the recording. You can still turn it off the old way once you are not actively recording.
