TLDR: if measuring all components by volume in floz, then YES. If converting all to weight in grams, then NO. So, for one thing it showed them using a liquid measuring cup for the coffee grounds. If you're basing the ratio formula off that then you would be correct. 10floz grounds (1.25c in a floz measuring cup):20floz Steep H²O:4floz Rinse H²O. OR Convert all to weight 120g Grounds:591g Steep H²O (1mL=1g):118g Rinse H²O 1:4.925:0.983 Your ratio now looks quite different when done by gram weight for the same volumes. Just kind of depends on how you're going about it I suppose. I personally use gram weight for precision and accuracy when assembly requires measurement of both liquid and dry ingredients. A common cold brew ratio is 1Lb:1gal, Beans:H²O (1.1gal stretches out one extra 12floz pour). I use the lb:gal as my golden ratio for all batch scaling calculations. It should be noted that ratio creates a strong, bold, ready to drink brew that can be slightly diluted with ice and dairy or water, but is NOT a concentrate intended to be mixed 1:1 with water.
I love to use Stumptown Hair Bender coffee beans to make my cold brew coffee.
Awesome video!
So the ratio is like this?coffe ground : water : rinse water is 1 : 2 : 0.4 ?

So u can’t just use the concentrate like in iced coffee, without adding water ?
You can but it’s just super strong if that’s what you want
