I really appreciate how Marilyn told her story and shared her feelings about her daughters and her family. I am so so sorry for her loss. I think the questions that Blake and Camille asked were very tender and thoughtful. Thank you to all who participated in this podcast. It truly touched my heart.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Yes, she did an amazing job. We are also sorry for her loss. Glad this podcast touched your heart. Have a blessed day ✨
This was a beautiful podcast. So proud of you Maralyn for telling the story of our beautiful girls. Your strength to carry on despite these hard things is amazing. Grateful to know our family can be together forever! ✨🤍
She was an amazing guest, with powerful stories and unimaginable trials to go through. He strength is amazing. Thank you for taking the time to comment. How you have a wonderful day!
just a suggestion, when they are describing their child can you put up a picture of it’s okay with the family, i find myself wanting to see the person they are describing. if not, i understand i just find myself wanting to see the person they are describing. ❤
This is a wonderful suggestion, we will discuss with our guest to see if it is possible to implement something like this. Thank you again for the support of our podcast.
Agree. I think pics if the parents are o.k. with that would be amazing! I’m a a mom of four and I just found Your channel a little over 12 hours ago, and cannot stop watching videos.
Thank you for your kind words. Comments like this are like a flower in the weeds 🌻. We are truly trying to help people. Hope you have a wonderful week.
I just found this podcast the other day. I hope to see Dawn Simmons on here one day. She lost 3 children to a drunk driver. Sad. All of the stories on here are sad. But they are helping ppl all across the globe. Thank you for what u do guys. ❤ hope your channel continues to grow! Love & Light to you all!
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I was unaware of Dawn Simmons, I just looked up her story. If you personally know her and can connect us together that would be great. Thank you for your support.
I love that the beautiful girls are together, with their beautiful cousin. I love that this mother sought out less traditional healing options, that is the BEST part of this story. It’s only ever our OWN JOURNEY!
What you are providing these families is so heartfelt, I lost my oldest daughter6 years ago, talking about the loss and the pain of it all is really a great way to work through it, nothing ever fills the hole left behind though, thank you for what you are doing!!❤🙏🇺🇸🙏
We are so sorry for the loss of your daughter, we will pray for you. Thank you so much for your kind words. We are happy when we hear this podcast is helping others.
Thank you Marylin for sharing your unimaginable loss. I’m so sorry and I’m also thankful for the comfort you have found in our Lord and Savior. I was widowed at a young age and I also couldn’t relate to others who have no hope. While I do feel alone and haven’t been able to connect to other young widows in the world I do feel a closeness and am comforted by the love of my Heavenly Father❤
I haven’t lost a biological child, but I did lose a step child 3 years ago, who was the half sister to my children, and the grief has been tremendous. This is a very comforting podcast, you both seem so kind & genuine. Thank you you for doing this ❤
God bless this lady who lost two daughters! The way the second one died was horrific and no parent should ever have to suffer that! I’m sorry for the loss of both your children! 🙏🙏
You have had more pain than anyone should have to bear in this life. I am sorry but I am glad you were able to turn into your faith for comfort.❤ and no judgement for those that dont take that route. Everyone's journey is different.💝 I very much enjoyed Ekisabeth Kubbler-Ross book on the 5 stages of grief years later.
Such a heart-warming story of loss and love. Thank you for sharing. Praying for the family. My sister in law slso lost two daughters as well ageds 9 and then 11 years later snd eleven hear old. My sister lost her son aged 27. But they are both growing in Jesus
Not gonna lie, got a bit of a smile when mom slipped and said her daughter was "planted." My dad was cremated and quite literally "planted" with a tree.
Thanks for your reply. I’m really enjoying watching your podcasts. As a Christian myself knowing that no matter what happens in life, even the worst imaginable, the Lord is with us and we can lean upon him. “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Psalms 91:4 NIV
I have watched a few of these videos and its so sad to seeing the people telling their story grieve, but oh my goddness watching the husband interviewer grieve with them and obviously for his own child breaks my heart. So sorry for you all 🙏🙏 May I ask os thos families from Thr Church of Mormons. Speaking of temples and bishops made me think of that (not that it matters) 💔
Thank you for watching some of these podcasts and thank you for your kind words towards our family. If by “The Church of Mormons,” you mean the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, then yes many of the guest belong to that church. Not all, but many do. Thank you for your support. God bless.
@@LostChildPodcast my heart goes out to all of you. Sorry for misnaming the church. Thank God that people find support and love through God and his people on Earth in the absolutely awful loss of a child 💔❤️.
Thank you for your support. No apology need on the name of the church, I just wanted to clarify so we know we are all talking about the same church 😊. It is a pretty awful road to walk…
I have to wonder if the police would've acted differently for a young woman who wasn't struggling so much with her little sister's death that she was in a tough spot in life. Everyone's life is worthy and it's incredibly wrong and infuriating not to investigate someone's disappearance just because they're an adult or they might have struggled in their current phase of life. It's not protocol because there's adults whose disappearances are properly investigated all the time. So you have to wonder if the police would've reacted differently if she hadn't been struggling with drugs or had lived the perfect picket fence happy family life when she disappeared. It's so horrible that a wonderful person died and the police didn't care.
Yes, there are many things that go on in this case. The family’s perspective, the police perspective and the law. It becomes very confusing, and in the end it is a sad reality that Maralyn and her family went through with the loss of their 2 daughters. Thank you for taking the time to comment. God bless. Hope you have a wonderful day.
When we are speaking with people who have suffered loss i have heard it said that is it insensitive to say "i can't even imagine" or "i could never live through that" or "i would die if that happened to my child"... does that somehow call into question the way your grieving appears?
I don't personally find that insensitive. I can see how other's might. On some level comments like that lack empathy, but rightly so. I think that you to truly empathize with someone over child loss you have to go through a child loss yourself. There seems to be something about it that you can't explain to anyone unless they have also experienced a child loss. There is almost like an unknown vocabulary with that person. It's even hard to explain in text. There is just and instant connection and relatability to each other.
No, not everyone on this podcast is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. We have guests from many different backgrounds and faiths.

Wow! The explanation of the meetings was so spot on. There was no room for healing & health.
