It's been 19 months since we lost our only daughter in an accident, she was 3 1/2. I cried along with you as I listened to you talk and related to so much of what you are feeling. Prayers for you and your family as you continue on this grief journey.

Thank you for wise words. I , like many , have suffered sudden shocking horrendous loss/grief ( not a child… but… other ) and …. i find Rucking ( carrying 10- 20 lb weight on back) while hiking in woods is therapeutic. I am a subscriber. Your sensitive channel on loss has helped many of us who are grieving, and i wanted to leave a comment to thank you. I've been subscribed since the very beginning and watched nearly every episode as they were released, and one day i realized i hadn't seen a new video in awhile, honesty I thought you gave up on the youtube channel due to the timing of when I stopped seeing your new videos was when Camille started to express that she didn't know what to think about the podcast and the hard-to-hear stories and that it wasn't helping your own recovery.. (paraphrasing) (probably way off) @LostChildPodcast Last thing that made me reach out was i searched your podcast name in the youtube search bar and it never gave me the name in the recommended search names that drop down as you type....even with Lost Child Podcast spelled out completely. Good news is i have a lot of catching up to do! bad news is your channel should no doubt be bigger than it is!! Take care guys...

I’m deeply sorry for your traumatic loss. 😢 Your world just falls apart from the day your child died. After my 35 year old son died unexpectedly.,my body suffered physically,I became so sensitive to loud sounds,if a car or motorcycle went past I would just grab my ears and my whole body would tremble.I ended up with a hernia in my stomach due to crying night and day for about 1 year. It’s such a traumatic event and your mind,body and emotions suffer. I pray that you keep healing in your journey. 🫂🫂🫶🏻💔💔

One thing I picked up on is that your son was suppose to be there at the park that day. Luckily, he wasn't because you could have lost 2 children that day.

The flat tire story reminded me of the pool draining incident, Blake and Camille. As Gilda Radner said, "It's always something." These logistical, mechanical, maintenance problems sure don't help.

I know families who mention their baby or child they lost about 40 years, and for some reason I like when they do that. It's very life affirming. I know it's not about me of course. But I would not expect people to forget about their children or siblings.

I think this guest is probably a good friend to her friends.

It's so unsettling to not know where your loved one is. (You may know they are at work or away at college or on vacation if they are adults.)

Thank you Both for sharing the research articles. I did yoga and runnung beforehand, and after i returned to running after 1.5 yr and yoga daily now, a new activity i took up is free wall climbing. I can attest that Being super active has accelerated my grief. Love snd Light to you both❤❤. Mostly, being super tired also rests your mind and the continuous overthinking or trauma.

My 16 year old son passed away after having wisdom teeth extracted. He contracted sepsis and died a painful death. He left earth in 2006. I will never get over it and I grieve for him everyday.
