Protection order mean that he must "stay away" or "can't contact" her. He migh just contacted her, and that count as a violation of protection order. But it still are not an abuse, cause contacting someone is not considered abuse.
@@NNabawiYT if you are court ordered not to contact someone, knowing full well that that person is frightened of you, contacting them damn well is abuse, and is a control tactic that many abusers use.. sending texts, emails, letters.. doing drive by's past their house.. it's all designed to get to the person, make them think that their abuser is still out there, and damn the protection order, they aren't safe.
Courts have to stop trying to force children to have a relationship with a parent if they don’t want to have one, bottom line. Just stop, if the kids want a relationship they will make it happen.
the thing is . if you are under 18 under law you have to have a guardian you are a child. and because a child cannot initially care for themselves because some can’t drive or have a job depending on age you have no way to survive. so if you’re over 18 you’re not a child they have no say.
@@j.w6777 The guardian can be anyone actually who signs a paper and accepts to be a legal guardian. The guardian doesn’t have to be a father or mother or a relative even. It depends on the state or the country but I had a local legal guardian, wasn’t a relative or mom or dad because I was in a boarding school in a foreign country. All these could have been avoided if these supporters of the mother signed a paper to say they would be a legal guardian for these girls. They were like 16/17 only a year or so away from not needing one. The mother didn’t play the legal cards right and she ended up paying for it and the girls too. Must have been devastating for the girls and the children…
My children had rights at the age of 10 years old. We lived in NewYork at the time. My youngest son told his laywer guardian that if he has to go with his father to see him one more time he was going to jump out the 5th floor window and kill himself. I had no idea that was said into we was in court and his law guardian told this to the judge. The judge immediately gave all three of my children optional visits and thankfully everyone is safe. That was the last time they ever seen their abusive father. My three children are now 27,23,21. They are all I’m still in college getting their degrees. My youngest son is studying to be a psychiatrist.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It didn't make any sense. I'm still a little confused about why the mother was in jail. It was weird watching this. A waste of time really.
I know, it's very confusing to see a Father actually get custody of his children and not only that, not face some sort of criminal charges stemming from abuse allegations that have zero evidence. Don't worry, I'm just as confused as you are.
+Chris Ahlman You're obviously so oversensitive about this that you actually ignored the fact that I was talking about how the story was *assembled*? Lmao.
+Vinnie Blades She had charges against her for brainwashing the children into disliking their father, those charges stemmed from lack of evidence aside from the children and her here-say of the father's abuse. She's probably in prison for the disappearance of the children because of those brainwashing charges i.e. they may have believed that she told the children to run away, or brainwashed them into running away on their own.
they're minors, the authorities had every right to take them once the showed up. it's like finding a lost dog, then frantically searching for the thing after holding the door open for it to leave again
Yup, the dad is no saint. He was probably abusive and the mum seems to have her own agenda. It's messed up and the kids have been forced to pick a side, so you can't really trust them either
Yeah it's hard to determine who is right in this scenario, on one hand the father could have bribed the judge to turn the case in his favor, or on another hand, the mom could have actually brainwashed the kids into thinking that their dad is abusive, but honestly neither of them look like they are fit to be parents.
So you're telling me that if I witness one of my parents being abusive- any form of abuse- to the point where I'm afraid of them and my other parent takes it to court. But there's no solid evidence. The court is going to assume that I'm brainwashed, take me from my home and put me in the home of the parent that *I'm very afraid of* ?
honestly, not all judges are the same. ma dad was extremely abusive n the judge assigned to us only listened to us n not ma parents. yes, I agree the father had bribed the judge, however not all judges are corrupt.
Did anyone else find it odd that the two underaged girls were interviewed but were still considered “missing children,” and the news station doing the interview didn’t contact authorities or parents at all?? That’s they first thing the news people should’ve done. Right?? 🤨
Think about it, if they went and called the cops nobody would want to do interviews with them anymore. They wouldn't have anymore exclusive interviews with criminals and etc. They would lose their trust. Its all about what's best for business I guess 🤷 not the girls well beings
@@illestoftherealest They most likely talked to them off camera too and found out what happened cause I doubt they would let them go if they weren't safe
too many people give abusers more chances again and again, i've been there myself, it's really hard not to... but only one such relationship was enough for me to never allow that again. i still have friends that just refuse to leave their physically and verbally abusive relationships that make them suicidal even... it's insane to me to see them keep choosing such people to stay in a relationship with... it's like absolutely no lessons were learned and it breaks my heart to see the cycle continue.
Except the mom lied and brainwashed these girls. They have since said that themselves. He wasn’t abusive and she was, and was convinced on multiple counts.
Hold on. So ur telling me THEY ALL claim he’s abusing them, She calls the police he’s violating his stay away agreement AND SHE GOES TO JAIL 😭😭😭😭😭whaaaat Oh my.
No... she was in jail because according to the psychiatrist, she was the one causing the issue with “alienation syndrome”. A lot of women do this to get back at the father. Not saying this is the case, but that the reason that was given
Did you even watch the video. The judge found that there was absolutely no evidence to show any abuse but rather that she was brainwashing the kids against their father.
Since this aired 5 years ago, I’d be interested to know how this all played out and how the family is doing today. If the Dad was an abusive man, there’s no way he’s gone five years without incident.
for court to take father's side is unheard of. So the fact that it did means there is a lot more bad stuff she did that is not mentioned in video. Courts have very strong bias towards mothers.
the people from the farm said it was the mother and her friend who dropped the sisters at the farm in the first place and then she acyed as if they had simply disappeared im sure that was the reason for her conviction also the way the girls have gone back to the father it seems highly likely that the mother is batshit and made everything up, without evidence he shouldnt have been convicted so the correct decision was made - as long as the children are happy and doing well thats whats most important
@GillianIsWack you're such a lying SOB......It is about gender and for once a judge sees through the lies of a woman in family court. The old, "he abused me," defense thankfully didn't work this time. Family courts are in dire need of judges like the one here, ALL ACROSS THE WORLD!!!
@GillianIsWack She made false accusations without evidence to back it up and again she hid the girls and lied about it. I don't think it's JUST because she reported him.
T. D. Morrow someone commented that the judge is under investigation for taking bribes. Either way the truth will come out. The judge may be found guilty or these girls will grow up and talk. However, 13 is not too young and can speak up.
Maybe read into it before you make assumptions and accusations. He had a psychologist evaluate the girls. They WERE being abused… by the mom! She brainwashed them, kidnapped them, and abandoned them with strangers. They have since shared that they were never abused by their dad and their mom literally left and moved to Florida, refusing to pay child support. The judge listened to an expert and made the correct call, the mom just thought she was above the law.
Mo 7 this is the problem with people these days everyone says we need proof of abuse and just ignore kids cries for help that’s like saying after someone is raped “oh but you have no proof you’re just saying you were raped”
The only conclusion that i found from this video is that everyone from this family is suffering and probably is still suffering because it is a dysfunctional one.. dont get a partner people, and dont have kids lol
This is painstaking, this is exactly what happened to me as a kid. The judge didn’t believe anyone who told him that me and my siblings were being abused since my mother seemed so normal and we had no hard proof at the time, luckily the judge made custody my choice but still left the door open for my mother to see me despite my pleads
You were lucky, many aren't getting the choice. Unfortunately, this "parental alienation" bullshit is getting weaponized against abuse victims and we often are forced to live with or visit seriously abusive parents because we are so "brainwashed" and can't possibly think on our own or know that we are being hit and screamed on. Because poor poor grown-up ass dad and his fee-fees are probably more important, can't even risk the slightest chance of him being sad because of such unfairness, let's rather risk the kids and mums being hurt or even killed, as it happens all too often.
+Mya - My thoughts EXACTLY!!! If the parents are a mess, won’t the kids come clean and say what really happened? Wouldn’t they tell the judge/police/whoever if they were being hit or their mother was being abused? Didn’t the police find it odd that the father kept breaking the court ordered order of protection? Did the mother have an order of protection? I hate when the news covers a story and all they do is raise more questions.
The mom went to jail for alienating her children from the husband by allegating that he was abusing her and proceeded to press charges against him, false charges of physical and psychological abuse (a very serious offense, warranting arrest and jail time.) That's the gist of it. As for the full custody by the father, David, that is perfectly understandable considering the therapists and experts didn't find any behavioral or psychological evidence pointing towards David being physically and psychologically abusive to all his children and his own wife. In conclusion, it can be gathered that the mum is quite manipulative, albeit while being not self-aware of the fact that what she fears is not actually the case. On a side note, I personally think that the mother is a little cuckoo as I have observed this behaviour in an old high school friend of mine who literally has no self-awareness, whether it be about her behaviour or the whining in her voice.
Ridiculous verdict. In the future they will look at this case the way we now view the Salem Witch 🧙♀️ trials. Sounds like the judge must have some voodoo magic 🪄 kind of Super Powers, to be able to know with such unwavering certainty, that absolutely NO abuse occurred and the children 👶 were just brainwashed by the mom. I wonder how much $$$ he was paid for that verdict or is he just a misogynist?
@@gocanada9749 Do y’all know how many times a mother has lied to the children telling them they were abused as little children? It happens more often than y’all realize and it always happens in situations where a bitter divorce is going on. That woman never had one ounce of evidence to show any physical abuse done to her or their children. No medical records, no police records, nothing.
@@whatwhat9004 Exactly. This whole comment section is flooded with ignorant people who make decisions without any regard for evidence. Judges see manipulative women all the time and have a lot of experience with them.
She was, she dropped them off at that farm and didnt come back, she clearly was insane and could so easily brainwash the kids. You underestimate how easily children can be manipulated.
They know that their mother left them on a farm for a few years and told them to speak ill about their father on camera. They know she's done wrong and now are happy to live with their father.
Hello! She kidnapped her own children! Took them to some ranch and bailed on them.. then lied to the cops about where they were.... FOR 2 YEARS! This Sandra lady will BURN IN HELL for the things she did to her husband and kids!

I am a Father and I could not imagine what those kids went through.. makes me think of a quote tho.. “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.” at what point do we brake this horrible cycle! Think outside ourselves and do whats right for our children.. no matter what the cost! Hard work pays off!
The most worrying thing for me was the way the father spoke FOR the two girls at the end…stating that “they’re happy to be home” because if the abuse is true..we know he’s controlling?? These girls seemed verryyyy against the fact of living with them…how could they be happy to be in a house with him with no contact from their mother??? We need to hear FROM THEM!
This is horrifying. Something is not right with this story and MN family courts. My own attorney advised me (I live in Minnesota as well) to not discuss the emotional and physical abuse of my marriage because it could be interpreted as parental alienation. Thankfully, I retain custody of our children the majority of the time. He is supposed to get 1 weekend a month which he rarely exercises as well as 4 weeks in the summer which usually ends up being a week. There is something odd about family courts not wanting to know about emotional and physical abuse. The fact that my ex rarely sees his children and rarely exercises his phone time is a form of emotional abuse in and of itself. Yet the courts don't care, they just want parenting time on the books claiming it is in the best interest of the children. My children at 13 and 15 recognize and understand the things their Dad does and says as abusive. They suffer the consequences of a court system that can easily rip a child from their primary caregiver that does not abuse them simply because that parent brings up the abuse that is the reason for the breakdown of the marriage.
We know of a case in MN where a young boy was left in a bad foster care situation when an Aunt and Uncle wanted to adopt the boy and give him a stable home. The family court thought it was better for the boy to be where he was. He wasn't abused as in hit etc. but he was neglected and surrounded by shady situations. The foster care woman did it for money. She wanted the boy gone every weekend so she could have weekend foster car of other kids, for extra money. She didn't care where the boy went. It was a mess.
Well as ur kids age out of custodial issues, start TELLING Tell them esp Cuz they prob already think they’re crazy, having lived it and their abuser has no repercussions- like, did this, is this happening?? Y isn’t anyone caring to do anything??
I guess that's why this family also went on Dr. Phil. They don't want any actual organized publicity about what happened with their family. I hate how this segment was set up. There was no explanation behind the story, and they left out very big plotholes.
There were certainly some very big questions, left unanswered.. The judge said there was no proof of the moms claim of abuse.... She says there were black eyes and broken bones. One would think there would be dr. reports on broken bones, was there? If there was, then that would seem to be proof, even if they weren't reported as results of abuse... Also, the girls were missing for 'years'? That means that they should be getting close to legal age to make decisions for themselves.. If they want to see their mom, then they should be able to... There was no mention or interviews of the younger 3 siblings views of the homelife. Just a LOT missing from this story.
I agree. This story is fucking stupid and makes zero sense. They can't find two girls in 2016 who left their house one night and they can find terrorists in other countries haha. This is stupid
Eric Wilsey so you’re saying i had no brain cells?, btw I’m not stupid or dumb i have brain cells, it was a joke, just to let your two little brain cells know 😁
There was an order of protection, Police was called over 20 times by the mother, he violates the order, all the kids say the same story but the judge ignored all of this. Yes, corrupt Jugde.
@@projectawesome5675 order of protection and not handed out like candy. There has to be some type of evidence. However, this is the short version. In the end...the ones that suffer are the Children. suffering.
If the police was called over 20 times on her husband yet in the police reports there STILL wasn't evidence of abuse, you have to start wondering who's telling the truth. Clearly She's the boy who cried wolf based on her records and that could be a big part why the judge saw through her act.
YOU KNOW THAT FATHER HAD MONEY AND PROBABLY PLAYED GOLF WITH THE JUDGE OR HIS PALS. I WOULD GUESS THAT THE JUDGE IS THE SAME KIND OF ABUSIVE ASSHOLE IN HIS PERSONAL LIFE TOO. WHEN A WOMAN CALLS PROTECTIVE SERVICES TIME AND TIME AND AGAIN AND HAS TO GET A RESTRAINING ORDER.......WHY IS SHE BEING BLAMED? THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT. THE JUDGE IS CORRUPT AND IT IS THE FATHER THAT IS THE CRIMINAL.
The journalist : " We interviewed the underaged missing girls " Police officer : " Where are they ?" Journalist : "I don't know they're still missing "
I had a similar experience with my parents divorce, dad was abusive but also a police sergeant so they ended up with joint custody of me, I had to live with him from age 11-15 until I ran away.
Is this supposed to be a video about how two young girls hid in plain sight, as the title says? Or about a family's personal life and couple's divorce, as the video shows?
Yeah Indeed Racism alive and well , now became international may go beyond earth, you hear the RACIST SLURS wherever you live irrespective of the place where you live.
Honestly, my brothers ex (mother of his child) would call the cops many times on my brother as well saying he had weapons and every time they came that was never true. They would actually see that she was kinda psychotic. They went to court for custody and my brother was granted certain days to be with their child. She would ignore his calls on the day hes supposed to get the child. He would show up to her house, because it was his day to get their child, and she would call the police saying hes harassing her. She is something else
It only proves that she is lying . calling the cops 20 times and they never found any evidence of physical abuse . and btw its so easy to find evidence of physical abuse .
Why is there absolutely ZERO information as to why the mother was put behind bars and the father awarded full custody? Who the hell put this story together? Its missing huge gaps of information, it's poor reporting and its emotionally reactive.
No it actually doesn't say why the judge granted full custody to the dad and none at all to mother. All it said was the judge said there was no evidence to the serious allegations on the father. But that's not a reason to take a mother's children away because you can't find evidence of someone else... All this happened before the girls disappears too so that has nothing to do with it yet either. The judge literally just took the moms right as a mother away when all the kids said themselves they'd rather be woth her too. It makes no sense to me why it wouldn't of been joint custody.
maddielovelee maybe because the kids are brainwashed by her which is abuse? The man deserves the kids as that situation she put those kids in is unacceptable
I read up on this because this video left me super confused so, here goes for anyone wondering. 1) The mother is in jail for interfering with custodial rights (because she drove the girls to that ranch) she had 6 felony charges of custodial interference. NOT for "false accusations" or for "parental alienation" 2) Samantha called her mother from the bathroom the night that they were told they were going to live with their aunt, asking her mother to come get her. She convinced her sister to come along and they ran outside barefoot - across the snow, which is why there are footprints - into the moms car. She then took them to the ranch. 3) The girls did not recant their claims of abuse. They are living with their father but they don't have a relationship with him. 4) The girls both hold to their claim that the judge, therapists and guardian ad litem (child advocate) were negligent and didn't listen to them and made terrible decisions in the court case. 5) This video doesn't mention an interview with a detective by one of the girls where she made it very clearly that she was scared of her father, didn't want to live there, that the home was filled with violence and abuse, etc. The judge did not allow this interview to be admitted as evidence in the court hearing. 6) It is VERY common for fathers to be awarded soul, legal custody - even in cases where abuse is documented, much less where abuse is testified but the court refuses to consider it evidence. It's incredibly negligent, but not unheard of. 7) I guess they hid 'in plain sight' because they went into public regularly, used their real names and made no attempts to hide their identities or pretend to be someone else - they just didn't want to go home or live with their father.
Yep. Check outa channel called, "Inner Integration". Just because there aren't visible scars, doesn't mean there isn't abuse going on. FAR too often, emotional/psychological abuse by the hands of these con artist, master manipulators & absolute liars (as, imho the husband is) goes unnoticed, unrecognized or..... unbelieved. Sometimes, it can even be less obvious & covert.... gaslighting, cognitive dissonance, devaluing... The push pull cycle is enough to drive anyone insane wondering what the hell is going on. The EXACT reason that after 20 yrs, I had to spend nearly 6 more grey-rocking trying to escape what others saw as a loud but charming... overly helpful.... hard working.... narcissistic, abusive sociopath. Even once I left, I've spent the past year & a half hiding, letting no one know where I'm at. He's STILL smearing me (& our teenage, now adult THANKFULLY... son) all over social media,. He tries to reach out to friends, family, even has friends do it.... w/ fake 'insurance reps, doctors" to try & get info on where we are... He has people send msgs on FB, strangers... telling me what a horrible excuse of a mother I am.. When all I was, was a dedicated, loving, faithful woman & wife of his, since HS!! All, while he lived this Jekkyl/Hyde double/triple/who knows life, lying cheating... Hell, it was ALL a lie. Most things I didn't even realize or find out about until after he was gone. So crazy.... I don't drink, don't do drugs, never had even a ticket..... But I have NO DOUBT I would have been dragged through the courts, my son, somehow, taken away from me. As it was, him knowing he had cleared our accounts, took the car, everything in the house was just gone one day... he ran out & filed for divorce knowing I'd have no way to even get there. He paid no child support, zero alimony.... no splitting of pensions, nothing. I still don't know how he pulled that off. Regardless, my son & I are here, alive... still digging out, but healing.. He can never hurt us again! He will never have a relationship w/ his son... ESP after seeing what his dad has been posting online about him, etc.... =/ It's so unfortunate these people can manipulate the courts... the therapists... idk why they cannot recognize the, seemingly.... (based on what I've seen of the case ,etc. anyway) obvious con job he's doing. AND that they blame her. =/ Sorry for the rant, guess I needed to get that out... to someone. ;) Be well. Hope they are all doing ok, better.... healing somehow.

I definitely believe the daughters that the dad was abusive. I was in a similar situation as a kid and a judge kept wanting my brother and I to go back to my abusive dad, he wouldn’t believe us. I see several comments saying that the system and/or judge was corrupt in awarding the dad custody, but apparently it was the right thing to do. If you search up the case, it turns out that the mom was lying about most (if not all) of it, even admitting in later interviews that she made up the abuse allegations and coached the kids on what to say.

Lauren Kay I'm sure they called the police but technically they have no right to hold them until the police come and I assumed they were of age by the time they did the interview and were talking about the past
Judges can't rule against someone in the complete absence of evidence. Even if the guy is 100% guilty of the accusations, our courts are evidence-based and any other ruling would be judicial misconduct. In this particular case, I would say the judge had the right general idea, as there is little question that the mother was involved in abducting the girls from the father's legal custody. That really calls her credibility and motives into question. Consider, for instance, that if the girls weren't secluded from their father and the court, that they could have been deposed under oath in order to get their personal accounts of what life with him was like. You would expect a mother concerned for their welfare to do everything possible to document his behavior, not to _prevent_ its documentation. For that matter, we know they had the capacity to record video in their home, probably via cell phones... if Dad was so volatile, why was there no easily-recorded video of it? Sorry, but this woman's story is extremely fishy, at least as presented. Also, I challenge you to watch her eyes when the reporter questions her and then tell me that she is telling the truth. Maybe he's just a better liar than she is, but I know which one of them sets off my instinctive lie detector.
Justin Heyer while I actually agree with what the dad says in most cases its the mom who tends to do shit I think the moms a little crazy you can see it in her eyes

As a Minnesotan and someone who also has parents who are divorced, I remember when I first saw this video when it came out, I am glad I actually took the time to watch this video throughly now as an adult.
My brother and I were "kidnapped" and taken out of state for 10 years by our father and step mother. They were always talking shit about our mom. Always saying she didn't want us, how she was a drug addict, and lived in bad neighborhoods. My brother and I didn't remember it like that whatsoever. Because that wasn't the truth. We missed her so much. We knew she loved us. We couldn't wait to be 18 to go look for her. Well, when my brother was 20, I was almost 17, he picked me up from school and told me he found our mom. I picked up my $80.00 paycheck from my part time job and, me, my brother and his girlfriend headed out of state. I ran away, and I knew it was wrong and I faced charges because of it, but, I didn't care. It was for the right reason and I'd do it again if I had to. Our mom proved she had looked for us. She had boxes of presents she saved from our missed birthdays and Christmas'. She had so much proof that everything we were told in mad attempts at brainwashing were false. I never doubted my mom. I'm 4o years old now. My mom was my very best friend from the day we reunited til the day she passed away in 2011. From 17-33 years old I never ever seen anything to make me believe those 10 years without her is justified. She put us before anyone and anything. I don't know why it all happened to our family. It gave my brother and I issues throughout our adulthood. I developed social and personality disorders, as well as anxiety disorders. I'm the first person that will say people shouldn't blame their faults and misfortunes on their childhood. However, I've been to many doctors who've all explained the science behind mental and emotional abuse and what it does to our psyche as children. It changes who you are. It changed who I was supposed to be. Idk why I felt the need to tell a little part of my life on such a public forum, but, I did. And, my opinion about the mother/father/2 "runaway" girls.. I don't understand why most people here are not believing the dad. I do. I do not believe the mom. I didn't live there nor sit in during court hearings to gain a stronger opinion, but, I feel like a good judge of character by what I saw in these interviews The father didn't try looking away while talking. i don't know why so many ppl say he did. I noticed the mom was the shadiest of all.
I'm so sorry about your childhood! No child should be ripped away from either parent like that or denied the ability to see them when they miss them so much. As for the mental abuse you suffered, a parent only in it for themselves can do SO MUCH damage. My ex had partial custody of our daughter because he claimed he wanted to be in her life. He specified in our custody documents that I was not to speak ill of him and I honored that by never mentioning him in my daughter's presence unless it was time to go to her dad's. We just didn't talk about her life with him and his new wife. What I didn't know was that they told my daughter I was a whore who cheated on him (I was celibate for 10 years after that man because of the trauma he put me through and I certainly didn't cheat on him), that I was selfish and didn't buy nice things for our daughter or take her on vacations because I kept all the child support money for myself (he left me in $10,000 of debt charging my credit card up buying furniture for his house then told me I couldn't have anything in the house, even my clothes and childhood furniture... and I barely had any child support nor did I ever take him to court to get it re-evaluated when he was making 6 figures and I was scraping by trying to pay off that debt), and a slew of other horrible things that made her resent and disrespect me and made her unable to have healthy relationships. Once she was older and began to see through his lies and suffer his mental abuse she started to break down. She was finally diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and depression at 19. We've had a lot of talks about reality vs the false reality her dad created for her and I can't understand what benefit he saw to warp her from age 5. Her childhood perceptions and experiences are forever skewed and I can't help her get those back or see that we actually love her. Parents who put their children through these traumas are not loving... they are selfish and hateful.
Yeah the mom seem very manipulative. YOu can tell liars by the way they answer questions. They never give direct answers. For an example the reporter asks "What did he do?" She said "Throw things, hammers at me if he got mad".................Now this is the answer of someone who is actually abused. Reporter: "What did he do?" One time he threw a hammer at me and it hit me right here( Points at spot)." So based on her shady answer it's clear that the Dad did in fact throw a hammer but more than likely he was upset at something and was letting his frustration out and threw the hammer (not at her) but in her mind it became "He threw the hammer at me" The she said "There was black eyes and broken ribs".........................This is the answer of someone who was actually abused, "He gave me a black eye..........he broke one of my ribs".......You see the difference. A liar always try to leave themselves out the answer and generalize it to make you think it's about them directly. Then she said "We had to lock our selves in the bedroom because we were scared"...............Scared of what? You never truly said he actually abused you. This how an abused person would respond. "We locked ourselves in the bedroom because we were afraid he'll hit me again" The reporter ask "How often did that happen" She respond "Once is more than enough.............it happened alot"........................So that means it basically happened once. Someone who truly was abused would answer. "It happened muliple times" and then go on to name another time it happened. Physical abuse isn't something you just forget. Growing up I remember vividly when I got whoppings from my father and the reason why?I can recount a number of times he beat us. So for her answers to be so vague it clearly shows that shes not telling the truth. Another thing to think about is that they had other children in the home. More than likely if the police was called over 20 times as she claims then they would've interviewed the other children to see if all there stories match up. There were obviously discrepancy in the children story because the other children were too young and innocent to actually lie to the police. It was 5 of them after all. Also she was married 20 years before filing for divorce???? If he was SOOOO abusive why wait so long to file for divorce. Nothing was stopping you. To many holes in this story. and shes not a good liar. The reason I know all these things is that I used to be a pathological liar myself and I would take note of myself liying and fix it to be more convincing to fool others. I became so good at it that it's easy for me to spot liars because they have the same characteristics I had. I don't lie anymore because God don't like that but I still know how to.
I agree with you. What mother in her right mind takes her daughters, drop them somewhere....and not come back...not even to check on them! OMG, I'm a mother of 3 adult kids now, I was mom & dad, and I still check on my babies to make sure they're okay, and when they need to talk or vent, they come home and we spent hours talking and sharing experiences. I was never a friend to my kids while they were growing up. I was a MOM, that's what they need it. Thank you for sharing your story. May God & the Universe always shine upon you & your brother.
If he was this abusive, especially toward his two older daughters who were old enough to understand it was wrong, she had all the right to get them away from him. She is doing anything she can to keep them safe. She didnt run off with them, that would be crazy and reckless. She brought them somewhere she knew they would be safe from him. This is all speculation as this case was super fuzzy. But besides what your beliefs are on the matter, she did the right thing if she was truely trying to keep them safe from him.
Wonder what you're asking her to focus on cause you can't meet someone, have an interview with them, let them go then claim they're still missing, that's plenty of nothing
If the father is completely innocent, why would the girls run away? The oldest was 14. Brainwashing a 14 year old about abuse that never happened is difficult. This all seems suspicious. I think the father is at guilt for something.
Zoe did you not hear them explain it? They were told they were abused mentally and physically so many times they started to believe it. And if they're happy now then doesn't that seem more suspicious that the mother was so adamant on them being abused
InfanitlyGaming so if someone never lays a hand on you, you can still believe they have just by being told that a lot? doesn't make sense to me lol. and idk there wasn't a statement from them claiming that they're happy now. and even if there is i mean i only watched this video so i'm basing my opinion on that.
I honestly haven't done enough digging to know who I would believe yet. Based on this video, I would say that the mother did, in fact, brain wash the children. And believe it or not, it's a thing. There have been times during a nasty divorce, that one of the spouses would use their children to fire at their ex-partner. Brainwashing and coaching are sadly more common than you think. Especially with young children. (P.S.- I watch a lot of Dr. Phil)
Taylor Leigh lol i watch a lot of dr phil too (on youtube). so i'm familiar with that. but thinking back to one of his videos, there was a woman who was trying to coach and train her daughters to believe their father was a child molester. but even after her attempts, when the children were interviewed, they said they did not believe their mother. so i'm just comparing it to that lol.
No it is not suspicious. In order for a judge to convict anyone there needs to be evidence. What someone says can persuade but without any evidence to back up what they are saying it is hearsay. And parents can very easily persuade their children to believe something that is not true especially at a younger age. And to be honest I would believe the word of the free, grown ass man, with a job. Versus mom in jail for god knows what. But whatever
The story is,The mom was mad at the dad and took the kids to brajnwash them about how crazy their dad was,she lied about knowing where they are aswell.that and when the kids talked bout the abuse, their voice is dead, emotionless ,theirs a video of their faces and theirs no expression on their face just looking into the camera smart judge
Just by looking at their mother's face, you know that this woman cannot be trusted and is a very crafty person. Her surname reveals that she is of Italian ancestry. Italian women are infamous for their very strong-willed personalities. Think twice before marrying any woman with an Italian surname unless you are willing to let them boss over you in virtually all matters of the family.
The Judge is crazy and need to be fired. Don’t know how certain Judges get a job? Not sure who are telling the truth. This is not a clear story and didn’t hear statements from the two girls.
Mo Ross It was a joke since you had a double negative in your comment. If you don't trust nothing, you do trust something. It's like saying I'm not not gay, ya know?
maybe because mental abuse can be imagined. whereas physical abuse is tangible. u may say u are being mentally/emotionally abused, the other person may say you are being unreasonable, an arbitrator may say youre just crazy lol
Reyah Kay Yes! My father was mentally abusive and was horrible! A really horrible, spiteful man. Whenever he came home, the tension was immediate because you never knew what he was going to do. But to everyone outside the family he was “a great guy”. No one understood what my mother and my brothers went through. I feel for this woman and I think that judge is mistaken.
Wow! Wow! Corruption is exactly what I see and can sense. And I can tell you...just by hearing tidbits of the actual story and looking into the eyes of the participants, that there was cahoots going on and it was not with this mother. If anything, you can seriously tell that she was really frightened for her children and tried to help the two eldest daughters to get away from the environment and not the father himself. As we all know, children are suppose to be happy and not absorb anything negative. If they do, it can have quite the negative impact on them and in their day to day lives. And I should know more than anyone! I'm a subject of my parent's divorce and was deeply affected by it. And I know well of what those effects are and it took me many years to understand that none of it was due to my behalf. It was a fight between good and evil, the ability to survive and the ability to be not killed, and etc. For one, no evidence your honor?! Tapes, police records, restraining orders, and witnesses; Two of them are young adults of the fighting couple in question. What you did do was to get child activists and Psychologists to interview the girls for the truth behind the allegations. However, child activists and Psychologists are known to use mind bending techniques to get to the truth and they are just as corrupted as anything and everything that is flawed. Of course, they are sworn to tell you their truthful findings and yet, their findings is so-so. But, what you didn't do, you didn't examine any of the evidence until it was nearing the end of the case in which you render your verdict. And in an instant, you didn't see anything! What did you expect to find?! Her dead body?! Or is it the kids dead body?! Bruising is easy and simple! Is that it?! What?! Records of doctor visits?! Emergency contacts?! All you did is to look into the eyes of this man and figured that he's a gentle giant, how could he sound so menacing and do these things. Then, you looked at the mother and figured....oh, she doesn't look like an angel, she's a inkling in disguise. She more likely to do this kind of thing than him. And then you point the finger at her; she's the instigator, tosses her out of the house, takes the children away from her and had the aunt to raise them for a while, but then, she's in jail and now, she's not allowed to have no contact with her two eldest daughters ever. She can see the other kids and visit them but, not the daughters. And I can tell you now, all of this was planned and plotted by him just so he can have some sense of security. Bravo! Bravo! You really did your job....not! You became too sympathetic and he took an advantage of that. Men are masters when it comes to that dark side of them. They hide it and they hide it well. I know this too! And he will be back there again. Just wait for the next one, he'll strike when no one suspects it. And one more thing, he is not going to let those girls see their mother ever! If anything, he will most likely take them to their grandma or someone similar but, I seriously doubt that he is going to let those girls see their mother. And this poor woman has to live her life in constant scrutiny and in check because she will be watched closely. No room to maneuver and freedom at a price, and controlled, just the way he likes it! Talking about a narcissist to the tenth power! And far as those girls doing well...whose words are those? His's?! It's laughable!
"they were missing for 2 years" "It was not a secret they were staying at the farm" "I suspect sandra had something to do with it" cut to Sandra literally dropping them off at the farm????? This story literally makes no sense
my mother was in this mother's situation, no evidence of abuse, a dick judge, they took it back after my "loveing" father broke my arm and wrist, fractured my cheek and ribs because I didn't get daddy dearest a beer out of the fridge at 6. don't judge this woman based on the lack of evidence a lot of abused women don't report it
Don't be an idiot. Lack of evidence is the EXACT reason for this judgement. We can't just believe every woman who says she was abused. You don't know if the father actually did it.
+Sagi Musume It could easily happen, now that she's back out in the world. The fact that the father claimed to have never laid a hand on any of his kids makes me doubt everything he says. The girls declined to be interviewed, and they weren't filmed - why? I wouldn't be surprised if they're too terrified to speak, knowing that the judge ruled that there is "no evidence" despite 20 recorded calls to law enforcement.
Man get alienated and separation from his children, accuse of abusing his children, had 2 years of not knowing where his daughters are. Went through the court and all accusation were unfounded. And all these comments are still defending the woman who was found guilty and spend time in prison by the court system🤦🏿♂️. This is the bs men have to deal with😪
This is not what was in the title. Them going missing felt more like a sideshow to the main story which was the mother and her being inprisoned for potentially brainwashing her own children... I mean what the fuck one of the parents clearly has their children being taken care of by someone they trust.
wait, wait.... they talked to the two girls _right there_, on live television, knowing about _everything_ that was going on, *_AND THEN FUCKING LET THEM DISAPPEAR AGAIN._* this seems a bit dodgy. and lowkey don't trust the mum tbh.
Lenkaa :3 She was abused for twenty years, had to go to jail for reasons the news network won't tell the audience, (which is sketchy af) lost any kind of contact with her daughters just to find out, WHOOP, they're WITH THE ABUSER, and even though the man couldn't get evicted without enough evidence, they arrested her no problem. But yeah, her makeups a little "creepy," that should somehow makes HER the bad guy in this idiotic situation 😒
Caelin lé Kiwi • no one said anything about her makeup. we just don't trust her. personally, i don't trust her because of the things she was saying, the way she said them, her facial expressions etc. it all seemed sketchy to me. how do you know the abusing thing was true anyway? it could have been a massive lie. trust is about instinct, and i said that i don't trust her because that's the feeling that i got. stop trying to back up our opinions with these 'facts'.

Monique Addn yeah isn’t a granted protection order proof enough!??
Protection order mean that he must "stay away" or "can't contact" her. He migh just contacted her, and that count as a violation of protection order. But it still are not an abuse, cause contacting someone is not considered abuse.
@@NNabawiYT if you are court ordered not to contact someone, knowing full well that that person is frightened of you, contacting them damn well is abuse, and is a control tactic that many abusers use.. sending texts, emails, letters.. doing drive by's past their house.. it's all designed to get to the person, make them think that their abuser is still out there, and damn the protection order, they aren't safe.
@@crochetqueen6440 you're right, but it's not the "contact" that considered abuse, but it's depend on the intent or the inside (of the text, etc.)

Exactly.
@@j.w6777 in most states, you do have a say at 16 to 17. So that’s incorrect
Is anyone else confused by how this story was assembled? It seemed really all over the place and vague to me.
I was thinking the exact same thing. It didn't make any sense. I'm still a little confused about why the mother was in jail. It was weird watching this. A waste of time really.
I think if we see the whole thing maybe it will be more understanding? Whoever made this video chopped it up so bad it was really confusing

The court is going to assume that I'm brainwashed, take me from my home and put me in the home of the parent that *I'm very afraid of* ?

for court to take father's side is unheard of.

Nah, the court system is just that corrupted. It is not designed to protect children, people need to realize this and stay out of that system.
Probably was paid …..cause it’s no way
Maybe read into it before you make assumptions and accusations.
SO the kids are saying they are scared of their own father, they don't wanna live with him but still make them live with their dad...WTAF?!

Yeah the whole story needed to be in better order lol.
I thought I was the only one
I guess that's why this family also went on Dr. Phil. They don't want any actual organized publicity about what happened with their family. I hate how this segment was set up. There was no explanation behind the story, and they left out very big plotholes.
While I was watching this I was literally like, "This sounds like a Dr. Phil case."

Isn't calling the cops on him 20 times evidence?
Honestly, my brothers ex (mother of his child) would call the cops many times on my brother as well saying he had weapons and every time they came that was never true. They would actually see that she was kinda psychotic. They went to court for custody and my brother was granted certain days to be with their child. She would ignore his calls on the day hes supposed to get the child. He would show up to her house, because it was his day to get their child, and she would call the police saying hes harassing her. She is something else
Not necessarily bc they could’ve been lying however if the cops could support that they’ve witnessed some abuse or break in then yes it is
It only proves that she is lying . calling the cops 20 times and they never found any evidence of physical abuse . and btw its so easy to find evidence of physical abuse .
no.
No?? How is that proof??
Why is there absolutely ZERO information as to why the mother was put behind bars and the father awarded full custody? Who the hell put this story together? Its missing huge gaps of information, it's poor reporting and its emotionally reactive.
bridget renee it did say it, It says because she was mentally brainwashing the children and she was the actual abuser.
Did you actually watch the video? Because it quite clearly says!
Probably shitty judge
NOT for "false accusations" or for "parental alienation"
2) Samantha called her mother from the bathroom the night that they were told they were going to live with their aunt, asking her mother to come get her.

I don't trust either of those parents. That judge is actual shit though
Victim testimony would be great evidence. But mom made sure that never happened by hiding them.

Stephanie Hernandez || lol
I didn't live there nor sit in during court hearings to gain a stronger opinion, but, I feel like a good judge of character by what I saw in these interviews
The father didn't try looking away while talking. i don't know why so many ppl say he did.
Reporter: "What did he do?" One time he threw a hammer at me and it hit me right here( Points at spot)." So based on her shady answer it's clear that the Dad did in fact throw a hammer but more than likely he was upset at something and was letting his frustration out and threw the hammer (not at her) but in her mind it became "He threw the hammer at me"
The she said "There was black eyes and broken ribs".........................This is the answer of someone who was actually abused, "He gave me a black eye..........he broke one of my ribs".......You see the difference. A liar always try to leave themselves out the answer and generalize it to make you think it's about them directly.
Then she said "We had to lock our selves in the bedroom because we were scared"...............Scared of what? You never truly said he actually abused you. This how an abused person would respond. "We locked ourselves in the bedroom because we were afraid he'll hit me again"
The reporter ask "How often did that happen" She respond "Once is more than enough.............it happened alot"........................So that means it basically happened once.
@@applejaxx8950 so thats why shes in jail on a million dollar bail.......makes perfect sense

Wonder what you're asking her to focus on cause you can't meet someone, have an interview with them, let them go then claim they're still missing, that's plenty of nothing

He was grinning that entire interview not just that question
If the father is completely innocent, why would the girls run away? The oldest was 14. Brainwashing a 14 year old about abuse that never happened is difficult. This all seems suspicious. I think the father is at guilt for something.
Yea, but now they're fully in their father's custody and have not ran away since.
Neither of them deserve to be parents. Poor children
So... 5 children and their mother say their father is abusive but the judge says *there's no evidence" That's not suspicious at all...
She claimed he broke her ribs, you dont think there would be medical records of that?
It's how the legal system works.

I agree. Take them back to the farm and get rid of the parents.
They tried that but the girls disappeared
You would make a great judge😂
“Uhhh, well, they seem shady. 80 YEARS PRISON!”
This was not about two girls hiding in plain sight, it was a story about custody and divorce. Misleading title.

but they only focused on the *physical* abuse. mental abuse can be just as harming.
Reyah Kay Or worse...bruises heal but the mental sticks with you. Went through both for almost 10 years.
maybe because mental abuse can be imagined. whereas physical abuse is tangible. u may say u are being mentally/emotionally abused, the other person may say you are being unreasonable, an arbitrator may say youre just crazy lol
but physical abuse can also cause mental abuse, so it's more powerful
Reyah Kay she was lying tho
Reyah Kay
Yes!
If they do, it can
have quite the negative impact on them and in their day to day lives.
His’s??
"they were missing for 2 years"
"It was not a secret they were staying at the farm"
"I suspect sandra had something to do with it"
cut to Sandra literally dropping them off at the farm?????
This story literally makes no sense
They just made a shot for the show. That wasn’t literally her dumbass
Justin Case except they literally say she dropped them off
my mother was in this mother's situation, no evidence of abuse, a dick judge, they took it back after my "loveing" father broke my arm and wrist, fractured my cheek and ribs because I didn't get daddy dearest a beer out of the fridge at 6. don't judge this woman based on the lack of evidence a lot of abused women don't report it
Don't be an idiot. Lack of evidence is the EXACT reason for this judgement. We can't just believe every woman who says she was abused. You don't know if the father actually did it.
Soooooo are we to just believe her without any evidence? Sorry to say so that just can't happen
Sparklemotion101 Thank god you don't practice law then.
Chaotic Narwhal
Wrong again.
I thought they were going to talk about the children missing not there marriage
Lie detector test are not able to be used as evidence
Chucky Mp 👍 thank. u. ..
Man get alienated and separation from his children, accuse of abusing his children, had 2 years of not knowing where his daughters are. Went through the court and all accusation were unfounded. And all these comments are still defending the woman who was found guilty and spend time in prison by the court system🤦🏿♂️. This is the bs men have to deal with😪
It went from 2 daughters going missing to how the father was abusive. WTF?
Javier Schafer I know right lol
You didn't watch the video did you
And the mum was in jail
Ikr
This is not what was in the title. Them going missing felt more like a sideshow to the main story which was the mother and her being inprisoned for potentially brainwashing her own children... I mean what the fuck one of the parents clearly has their children being taken care of by someone they trust.
wait, wait....
they talked to the two girls _right there_, on live television, knowing about _everything_ that was going on, *_AND THEN FUCKING LET THEM DISAPPEAR AGAIN._*
this seems a bit dodgy.
and lowkey don't trust the mum tbh.
Yeah she looks creepy af
Ikr
This is why women get killed and young women end up in abusive relationships. The child should have been interviewed by psychologist. SMH.

By a psychologist the court appointed the CHILDREN are showing signs of alienation syndrome.
Kasey because maybe courts always favor mothers? There is NO evidence of abuse. Innocent until proven guilty. Obviously the mother put shit in their head.
they were interviewed by therapists and they said they were diagnosed with parental alienation syndrome. which means the mom brain washed her children and unfortunately it happens alot
