This is the life I want. No getting up early to the rush of traffic but getting up early to fresh air. I truly believed that my depression would go away if I could live like this.
Learning about foraging can give you an iota of this even if you're not ready to give up your traffic filled life. You start to see how much around you is stuff you could harvest (even if at first you are too timid to eat it), and you can do little activities like making rosehip tea. For me it helped (along with learning some geology) what I got out of walks through town or into the wilderness. Going for hikes, living in a walkable city, and walking with no headphones also all give me a tiny bit of this feel. I found I became much happier when I lived in a larger city when I walked to work (or took metro with a bit of walking on each end) if I just listened to the city sounds and thought about them along with the smells and feels and sights... store clerks opening up, delivery people, others walking to work, little birds, I walked past a horse racing track too, the decorative trees, the weather, even the mess outside the pubs. It was somehow stimulating to notice things more even if they were objectively unpleasant (like a bad smell). I listen to music to zone out in the evenings but if I am out and about I like to listen to and investigate my surroundings.
You like it because it looks new to you. If you did live a life in this video, you would get bored in no time and would like to get back to traffic-rush life

Thank you for making these incredible videos, before they kept me away from going crazy preparing med school entrance exam. Now I'm in 3rd grade of med school and studying for the upcoming finals. Even tho you didnt upload any new videos, I'm rewatching your old ones during my 5 mins breaks. It brought back nostalgia and bring me some new motivation to continue going. Your videos constantly reminded me of my old self that have sacrificed a great effort for me to come this far. Which is why i should not give up no matter hard or scary it is. There were a few political scandals around this channel, involving communists... but i think most likely reason of absence is that author received a tempting compensation for postin on a local streaming exclusively. I love episodes like these when Lizi shows us that she basically has a whole grocery right in her gardens. Growing her own food so magnificently, it's such a wonderful sight to see her pulling up healthy goodies to eat!

Just learn from reliable sources and start with some easy ones. It also takes time for your palette to appreciate new flavours, so don't give up if the first tastes are weird. Give your brain time to get to know what you are trying. Sometimes it takes several times before fully adjusting to how the flavours lend themselves to dishes. No need to pay people, just find a local group you can be part of.
I can't get enough of her and all she does. From crocheting, cooking, working out in the field and helping with her Grandma's needs. I admire her so much and lovely views and atmosphere. All of it just soaks u in and makes you love this genuine girl and her Grandma. For those of you who do not know, the pronunciation of persimmons in Chinese is "shi", and it has the same pronunciation with a blessing sentence "事事顺心 shi shi shun xin", which means "I hope everything goes at the way you expect". So it's her blessing to all the people in the coming new year. She wishes that we all a wonderful 2021, and hope everything goes well. @@lamcb.9476 You will be amazed at what you can eat if you let natural plants\weeds around you grow. Lots of foraging and edible plant videos out there. Just learn from reliable sources and start with some easy ones. It also takes time for your palette to appreciate new flavours, so don't give up if the first tastes are weird. Give your brain time to get to know what you are trying. Sometimes it takes several times before fully adjusting to how the flavours lend themselves to dishes. No need to pay people, just find a local group you can be part of.
