Haven’t ever thought I’d make a table out of a bed!
I was binge-watching when I spotted such a table in a scene, and then made an improved version on my own.
It was hard work but ended up perfect!
As it turns out, there’s plenty to learn if you watch TV with your elderlies at home.

The table is from an idiom 曲水流觞, a way of drinking in ancient China. It became famous 1,700 years ago when a group of most famous scholars at that time (Jin Dynasty) gathered by a winding creek, drinking and writing poems. This is recorded in the most famous calligraphic work in Chinese history by Wang Xizhi, a witness of the event in a prose 兰亭集序. Those who attend are supposed to be able to make poems impromptu. At the end of the video, the diners try to come up with a poem he/she knows, reflecting the tradition.

She is honestly so inspiring, I was never into home decorating or even gardening but watching her make her own oven, made a grape vineyard with watermelon patch , make her own flower wall, do master class Chinese threading and then make her own designs and made clothes from that design. I have soo many ideas for this authentic Chinese art work. I know my mother would love to serve tea on this absolutely stunning. This is the kind of content I like to see your grandmother is very luck to have you. And I do hope this changes how all Asian women are looked at.

I have been watching her for long now, and I can't find a single thing she can't do. And she does everything by herself. WoW.
Well, while she is capable of doing all those tasks in her videos, her videos are the result of an army of people dedicated to participating in the unseen background planning and finishing each of those tasks in the videos, including the entire construction of her Grandmother's home and her entire compound. She (Liziqi) and her Grandmother reside in a rural area in the southern section of the area north of Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam in either Yunnan or Sichuan. She was sent to live with her Grandmother when she was a child when her parents separated, so, her Grandmother raised her to an adult. Now, Liziqi takes care of her Grandmother. Liziqi's videos made Liziqi a wealthy woman, but she stopped making her videos because the Chinese company involved in making her videos wanted to have complete control of her videos, but Liziqi did not want that, so, she stopped making them due to large legal action. But I've heard she won the legal battle and may make more videos.

She is okay but this channel is no longer her channel it has been taken by the company who was managing her channel after she signed a contract with them to focus more on the content as she was the one who was doing everything from shooting to editing to uploading on TH-cam previously but later on she sued the company for mistreating her, tricking her and taking advantage of her. She didn't explain much but just wrote a few words on a Chinese platform with a picture of her in a Police station but that post was later deleted as far as I remember. The company took her channel when she decided to leave the company because of the "Tricks" they played with her and I suppose it was monetary issue. I did read somewhere before that the company was taking a large chunk of the profit from her videos and only a small amount was given to her. Anyways, Her Assistant did say that she is taking some time off from TH-cam and resting after this fiasco. But we didn't hear anything from her so far so who knows when she will be making her comeback.

The table is a recreation of ancient Winding Stream Party 流觞曲水 from over 1500 years ago. In olden times scholars and poets will gather around a small stream with wine floating down the water. They have to make a poem first before grabbing the wine to drink.

I think it’s so ironic how she makes these videos to relive our stress but she’s puts an unfathomable amount of effort into them. I do not know one video by her that took less than one or two weeks to film and edit. It’s so much work for a video that’s 11-20 minutes long and could have potentially been in the works for 1 year or two. I appreciate you so much Li ziqi. In this game, people will choose a character(a word), and then they start reciting the a sentence of a poem that contains this word one by one. In due course your perception becomes refined and acutely tuned into nature and the cosmos. This however is not without suffering a bit of withdrawal symptoms of habitual city life. Once overcome, which takes about two to three months, you experience the natural rhythm of the photosynthesis, a real freedom long forgotten by us humans! If you ever want to go for that experience make sure you do not wear any shoes with rubber soles, buckskin moccasins are best in order to feel earth's energy flowing through your body! Returning to the city after such an experience can be depressing however, something to consider and prepare.
Nowadays I live in the city tied to responsibilities but always long for that simple life. It is THE MOST satisfying experience that nothing can give in the "civilized" world!
We've grown into slavery to our senses in a make-belief world since the industrial revolution that slowly undermined our natural senses and spiritual power within each body and soul!
