@@a.a.8145 Have you been to rural China? My grandparents live in a village very similar to Liziqi's, and their lives are very similar. Of course, its not quite as pretty, hers has a lot more flowers and mountains, but the land my grandparents live on is still very beautiful. The houses are far from each other with many rice paddies in between. The air is fresh and misty and a little smoky from the cooking fires. Each family has a large garden and fields and have chickens and goats. It is a beautiful place.

kachal kachal True. Bought my ticket back to China back in April and still think that was one of my best decision ever made. In most provinces people stopped wearing mask from April/May until now (of course some still choose to wear masks since pandemic might change drastically and there are lots of people who are especially vulnerable and to be protected). Recently more people put on mask again since it’s a bit tougher to get the pandemic under control during winter, especially when people travel a lot due to Chinese New Year which will happen in early Feb.
I genuinely believe that living a more wholesome life like this would help with mental illnesses like depression. We would be healthier, stay younger longer and generally live a happy more rewarding life. I cook, bake, and garden I can tell you I've never been happier.

@@Ningyoutachi Yes, actually I have read about her. The article said she does not give interviews and is somewhat cagey regarding her life. Actually, it was a positive article about her rise on TH-cam, but did not try to pretend that it was realistic. And that there are a number of channels like this. In fact I watch a couple of others that aren't as slick and silly as this one is. More like real life. Initially the Chinese government was not happy that she was using TH-cam, but when they found out how many people watched the videos they thought it would be a good way to try to get young people involved in farming. So the government decided to back her in some way that she will not explain. This channel is not as simple as many make it out to be and is extremely unrealistic. Anyone who farms and gardens will agree with me. It's meant to be a fantasy channel showing a very idyllic and romanticized version of the farm girl. I enjoy parts of it, but do not believe for one minute that she is not getting a lot of help, monetary and otherwise.
Many people want to have a life like her, living in the countryside with abundant natural resources. But I don't believe that they can truly live like her. Just look at how hard she works... With life like that many people will start to complain in the first day...

i say it again and again, especially in this challenging time for the world hit by this corona virus, this amazing beautiful young woman should be awarded the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for bringing millions of people together ...who watch her videos and see how most of us have forgotten how to live an authentic life. I am American. I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Most of the time, I have no idea what she is growing or cooking, but I love watching any way. It’s so peaceful. Plus I enjoy gardening and am constantly impressed with the hard work she puts into growing food. We often take for granted the labor that goes into a simple dish. I also like the way she cares for her grandmother. Respect for our elders. Respect for this channel.
I’m not from China but we also grow all these vegetables and fruits in our country too but surprisingly we didn’t know we could cook varieties of dishes with these vegetables.She is so skilled hard working lady.
As a gardener who happens to be impatient, I find it so satisfying watching the growth sped up in these videos! In reality, you plant some seeds and they might germinate after a week or two if you're lucky. I'm starting some lavender inside right now, and I know that germination time can be up to a couple months before I see a single leaf! Watching these videos and seeing the growth that I know will come eventually helps me wait for my plants. Also, I love seeing all the ways she uses the different vegetables and fruits. I am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to serve those to my kids!

Whenever I watch her videos I can't stop thinking about the modern and fast life that surrounds most of us. The work on the farm is hard and heavy, but seeing the knowledge that she has managed to obtain makes me envy her connection with the elements of the earth, her landscape, her land. It is clear to me that there is enough on this earth to feed everyone, but the crazy modern consumption rate seems unstoppable. when she dips her bare feet in the water or on the ground or her hands in the grains, I close my eyes and try to smell the life that can be projected onto the scene.
But how the place is always looks beautiful. Are they recording at the right time or the place weather always beautiful there. I love foggy moist place like that

It's not just hard work you need. You need permits for agriculture. Permission to grow produce if you don't have land of your own. Hunting licenses and fishing lisences, which dont come cheap. You need to have a stable home to do a small fraction of this work to be independent. And u need money. Otherwise you just get in trouble for property damage and/or thieving.

So I read an article about her, her parents divorced when she was very young, then she went to live with her grandparents in the rural area. When she grow up, she tried various job at the city.. once upon a time, she got a call that her grandma was sick so she left everything and cameback to hometown to take care of her nana. She was inspired by her brother who uploads singing videos on Meipai (Chinese social media) and thinking that she could do one of that too. Over the years through trials and errors she was able to build her channel. After learning this about her, I was really impressed. She started a company to serve rural food to people from cities, and youtube/internet started here. She did her videos all by himself, she filmed and cooked at the same time, some of them takes year's to be finish, like the peach wine. She was born in 89, her actual name is not Liziqi, but it's quite unique the name she choose to be known. This woman is so badass, and deserve all the recognition and how famous she become. Of course, its not quite as pretty, hers has a lot more flowers and mountains, but the land my grandparents live on is still very beautiful. The houses are far from each other with many rice paddies in between. The air is fresh and misty and a little smoky from the cooking fires. Each family has a large garden and fields and have chickens and goats. It is a beautiful place.

In most provinces people stopped wearing mask from April/May until now (of course some still choose to wear masks since pandemic might change drastically and there are lots of people who are especially vulnerable and to be protected). Recently more people put on mask again since it’s a bit tougher to get the pandemic under control during winter, especially when people travel a lot due to Chinese New Year which will happen in early Feb.
I genuinely believe that living a more wholesome life like this would help with mental illnesses like depression. We would be healthier, stay younger longer and generally live a happy more rewarding life. I cook, bake, and garden I can tell you I've never been happier.
I genuinely believe that this "TH-camr" has a massive team of people behind her making these videos. Probably paid for by an absolute dictatorship bent on expansion, domination which is banging people up who do not confrom to their ideals of identity in concentration camps for re-education.

Actually, it was a positive article about her rise on TH-cam, but did not try to pretend that it was realistic. And that there are a number of channels like this. Initially the Chinese government was not happy that she was using TH-cam, but when they found out how many people watched the videos they thought it would be a good way to try to get young people involved in farming. So the government decided to back her in some way that she will not explain.
This channel is not as simple as many make it out to be and is extremely unrealistic. Anyone who farms and gardens will agree with me.
It's meant to be a fantasy channel showing a very idyllic and romanticized version of the farm girl. I enjoy parts of it, but do not believe for one minute that she is not getting a lot of help, monetary and otherwise.
Many people want to have a life like her, living in the countryside with abundant natural resources. But I don't believe that they can truly live like her. Just look at how hard she works... With life like that many people will start to complain in the first day...

I am American. I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Most of the time, I have no idea what she is growing or cooking, but I love watching any way. It’s so peaceful. Plus I enjoy gardening and am constantly impressed with the hard work she puts into growing food. We often take for granted the labor that goes into a simple dish. As a gardener who happens to be impatient, I find it so satisfying watching the growth sped up in these videos! In reality, you plant some seeds and they might germinate after a week or two if you're lucky. I'm starting some lavender inside right now, and I know that germination time can be up to a couple months before I see a single leaf! Watching these videos and seeing the growth that I know will come eventually helps me wait for my plants. Also, I love seeing all the ways she uses the different vegetables and fruits. I am constantly looking for new and exciting ways to serve those to my kids!

It's not just hard work you need. You need permits for agriculture. Permission to grow produce if you don't have land of your own. Hunting licenses and fishing lisences, which dont come cheap. You need to have a stable home to do a small fraction of this work to be independent. And u need money. Otherwise you just get in trouble for property damage and/or thieving.

To be fair, this would probably require conventional wealth as well... I bet that home and land cost a lot.
So I read an article about her, her parents divorced when she was very young, then she went to live with her grandparents in the rural area. When she grow up, she tried various job at the city.. once upon a time, she got a call that her grandma was sick so she left everything and cameback to hometown to take care of her nana. She was inspired by her brother who uploads singing videos on Meipai (Chinese social media) and thinking that she could do one of that too. Over the years through trials and errors she was able to build her channel.
After learning this about her, I was really impressed. All i can say is, she is truly a hard working person and never leaves her family. We all should be inspired !

So here's the story of Liziqi. When she was just a child her parents get divorced, her stepmother was really bad with her and she find herself living with their grandparents. She learned a lot of with her grandfather, that's why she know to do all of that stuff, when her grandfather died, they didn't have money left (she was poor mostly of her life), she and her grandmother searched help with the government and the rural community helped them. She was a Dj (yes, I know it's hard to believe haha), also singer before these youtube thing. Her grandmother needs help now, and Liziqi made the decision that she will take care of her. She started a company to serve rural food to people from cities, and youtube/internet started here. She did her videos all by himself, she filmed and cooked at the same time, some of them takes year's to be finish, like the peach wine. She was born in 89, her actual name is not Liziqi, but it's quite unique the name she choose to be known. This woman is so badass, and deserve all the recognition and how famous she become. She's beautiful and strong, a example of woman power and person.
