I have anxiety and depression very badly. I watch these to lull me to sleep. Here in the USA in the middle of the country in the state of Missouri my grandfather had a farm. These videos take me back to that place. His vegetable gardens. Fresh deer meat. Honey combs right out of the hive. Working the land. The sound of rain. Blessed are you and your beautiful family. I’ve been to China once before when I was quite young. I lost my caretaker in a crowd on Shangxiaju Pedestrian street. The smells were so new to me and amazing. I must have wondered for hours. When I finally realized I had gone to far it was too late. An old women took me in as her child and I worked as a farm hand until I was found 2 years later. This style of living reminds me of her. When people comment about this all being fake and so on, I really must laugh. The wide array of skills this woman shows in every video, speak for that. The efficiency, proficiency and muscle memory with which she does tasks, only comes from years of repetition of the same tasks. So whether or not this is all 100% as it appears, doesn't matter to me, in her actions she proves she has the experience. And I'm glad that she has been successful, and is financially set. It hasn't always been that way for her from what I understand. Why can't we just celebrate these beautiful moments of peace she gives us instead of criticism? The world could use a lot less of that.....
Be interesting to see how fake it is. To work that hard and look that flawless maybe. But the consistancy is too accurate. The knowledge behind the daily survival can not be faked. Does she really live this life? Could be another story. These videos have brought me so much joy and peace regardless.
So many times I have felt sadness because of this very thing. I don't care about anything except that I have learned, that we can make what little we have into a beautiful thing, if we would just let our imaginations loose. I started watching liziqi about 2 years ago and before then I ate absolute shit, microwaveable meals or fried food and after watching her I started making homemade meals and since then, Im much healthier I’m happier, my skin is incredibly nicer, and I lost weight to a happier size. Rae Peronneau she doesn’t show the “failed” crops here. In an interview, she said a lot of tropical plants didn’t bear fruits. She also had to try 3 times (years) after so much trial and error, and finally having the passion fruits in one video.

Jonathan Wu I disagree- I used to think that and that we needed a professionals help us to find our way- which I sought after for many years and it wasn’t until I realized it was all within me and that I could find my own way- no one will do it for you- sure you can get some good guidance but in the end it really comes down to you and you can find what you need in books, watching others and self reflection. I say don’t be afraid- life isn’t a dress rehearsal- don’t rely on anyone but yourself, be strong and seek after truth which isn’t always what it appears- such as these videos. Chinese use mountain water and river to wash and drink, and use firewood to make fire for cooking. Oh, my god. It is natural, but, the hygiene issue is what I worry about. I’ve been to China once before when I was quite young. I lost my caretaker in a crowd on Shangxiaju Pedestrian street. The smells were so new to me and amazing. I must have wondered for hours. When I finally realized I had gone to far it was too late. An old women took me in as her child and I worked as a farm hand until I was found 2 years later. This style of living reminds me of her. The smell of her hands. I watch these videos quite often to remember who I am. Very beautiful . I wonder where she is now. Maybe will meet again.

I tried to grow some vegetables in my yard and it was so hard. A lot of labour works which doesn't guarantee any harvest, you could get frustrated and give up easily. Lady Ziqi is truly amazing!

When people comment about this all being fake and so on, I really must laugh. The wide array of skills this woman shows in every video, speak for that. The efficiency, proficiency and muscle memory with which she does tasks, only comes from years of repetition of the same tasks. So whether or not this is all 100% as it appears, doesn't matter to me, in her actions she proves she has the experience. And I'm glad that she has been successful, and is financially set. It hasn't always been that way for her from what I understand. Why can't we just celebrate these beautiful moments of peace she gives us instead of criticism? The world could use a lot less of that.....

Be interesting to see how fake it is. To work that hard and look that flawless maybe. But the consistancy is too accurate. The knowledge behind the daily survival can not be faked. Does she really live this life? Could be another story. These videos have brought me so much joy and peace regardless.

Seeing Liziqi working so hard reminds me of my mother and the stories she told me of her childhood years in our village how she would wake up at 5am every morning and go work in the fields and do chores all day til the sun goes down. This makes me appreciate my mother so much more ❤️
I heard that this video is actually made by the chinese gov. Without huge financlal backing, it is impossible to really live like this, and this does totally not represent how the Chinese in rural areas live. You have to be loaded to live a life like this.

I started watching liziqi about 2 years ago and before then I ate absolute shit, microwaveable meals or fried food and after watching her I started making homemade meals and since then, Im much healthier I’m happier, my skin is incredibly nicer, and I lost weight to a happier size. I’m so greatful to have found her channel she’s a blessing to this world ❤️❤️

I was born in a Chinese village, similar to Ziqi's. My childhood of country life has never been such poetic, on the contrary, it was full of sweat, bitterness, uneasiness and pain. I struggled so hard in the schools to escape that land. Finally, I settled down in the opposite end of my motherland, leading a life I could never dream of when I was young. Weirdly, I found less and less peace and happiness in my life now. Ziqi is an astonishing Chinese girl, her soothing video of all the things I aquianted made me wondering: what is the essence of life? What we are after eventually?
Something tells me these videos are idealized versions of agricultural life. Somehow, crops never fail here. Lol ;-)
Rae Peronneau she doesn’t show the “failed” crops here. In an interview, she said a lot of tropical plants didn’t bear fruits. She also had to try 3 times (years) after so much trial and error, and finally having the passion fruits in one video.
It's a philosophical question. I advise you to approach the situation together with a psychologist if you really want to dive deep down for your own safety. Optionally you can study and think about it by yourself but if you dive too deep too quickly, it could be dangerous for your mental health depending on how your approach to understand and answer that question.
Jonathan Wu I disagree- I used to think that and that we needed a professionals help us to find our way- which I sought after for many years and it wasn’t until I realized it was all within me and that I could find my own way- no one will do it for you- sure you can get some good guidance but in the end it really comes down to you and you can find what you need in books, watching others and self reflection. I say don’t be afraid- life isn’t a dress rehearsal- don’t rely on anyone but yourself, be strong and seek after truth which isn’t always what it appears- such as these videos. Life’s a little more messy- but I commend her for seeking the beauty in it- nothing wrong with that. It’s up to all of us to sort through it our own way to make sense of it. Just a thought.
