    These tutorials are so great. I find your teaching technique truly effective. I’ve dabbled with LR for some time, gone to other programs and come back etc, never feeling very proficient. I realized while watching these that some of the basic tools that I had played with I never really understood. This is what has been lacking. I’ve only managed within a relatively narrow range of understanding. I assume you have an educational background or are simply a natural. Either way I’m grateful to have found you through your connection to Lizzie Peirce & Chris Hau. Cheers!

    If you check the constrain crop at the bottom it will fill in the empty space.

  • @nahelabdlhadi
    @nahelabdlhadi 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Couldn't we spend a lot more hours in cloning in ps so that we dont have crop and instead you could rebuild it using clone tool. Also idk if its there in ps but many apps in smartphones do have a smart fill option after playing with perspective tool. It usually doesn't do a great job but it does just fine so you get good base when youre cloning and also it takes way less time in ps if you have that smart fill tool to replace the white borders

    In case anyone was wondering, the transform feature in lightroom CC is called geometry.

  • @JensUhlmannOfficial
    @JensUhlmannOfficial 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    5:21 that is not how you should crop when you have whitespace. The option "Constrain Crop" below all the sliders does that for you and probably more precise than anyone could. You can still move the cropped photo around.
