Hi everyone, this video is about the Yamaha AV receiver that we got for our home theater system. You will see its basic features, specs, and how we installed it in our home.
A little tip for you.I suggest you locate your receiver on a shelf without it being covered by another shelf.The reason being the amplifier wont be able to dissipate the heat therefor overheating the components in the AVR and significantly reducing there life span.Sit the AVR on a shelf where it is open and less prone to overheating and reducing its life span.
Your receivers are going to continue to overheat if you keep it wedged in such tight shelving. It has not top breathing capability. It needs more room to breathe. Other than that, great video.
Don't set the speakers to "Large"... set them to "Small". I would also try a crossover higher than 80Hz... Does the pack come with the wires to connect the speakers to the AV receiver? Thanks

7.1 is a joke and hardly anyone is even buying surround systems anymore. While they were all the rage in the late 90s through early 2000s, people aren’t wanting boxes eating up living room space. Personally, I would prefer a 2.1 or a manufacturer that would make a dedicated 3.1 type setup.

when you turn it off it makes a click, but that’s it, as far as mine goes, it’s just silent after you turn it off, and has no lights on.

why are you going from a 7.1 to 5.1
