This is top shelf. I’m working on a video where I’m using the harmonist with monophonic synths. The saxophone sounds like a very square sort of wave form to me. Have you ever hooked up a sax to a phaser? Or a fuzz pedal? Those are just the sort of effects that come to mind when I think of square wave shapes. Anyway, sweet playing!
I'm assuming that whichever scale/key you are playing in on a tenor sax, you set the Harmonist to a key a whole tone lower, C on sax, Bb on Harmonist (as in your example), or D on sax, C on Harmonist, is that correct?
Correct. These pedals always reflect concert pitch, so if you are playing in C on a tenor sax, set the pedal to Bb. If you are playing in C on an alto sax set the pedal to Eb.
< Well, at last This one gets close to my SaxEars¡! I´ve been dreaming of a Harmonizer for my Saxs & Voice for a long time.I am not desperate just bored. There are some fine harmonizers controlled by keyboard...and I even thought Of chording my sax harmonies on the key board ! ...Naaa...too much hazzle. The VE-20, yes but,...nananaa. I like this one ! ( with the guitar sounds horrible). I live overseas, will order one. Do you think I could sound TOWER of POWER chords? Well pleasant speaking to ghosts.! Ble$$ings¡ Which Mics react better with PS-6
why don't you use a mic. preamp? Just curious? I find it really boosts my signal , but I am only going through a PA system or my Tascam8 track digital . I also use the TC Heilcon Voice play live harmony pedal but in the market for a new one ,wondering if the Harmonist is more user friendly?
that detune is the sound I've been looking for. sounds like you enjoy Russell Gunn's version of Bass Head Jazz as well
I generally use a bell mic. Is the setup any different from other pedals I use?

I tried to sync up my alto, bari, and bass clarinet through an EHX Russian Big Muff but didn't have any luck. Any tips?
Hi! Thanks for the video! Have you tried it with an external expression pedal? Does it affect the pitch when used with "harmony" mode?

kool. thks
Thanks for the demo.
You mentioned two harmonies. At the same time?
Can you play an octave up and one down?
Yes, two at the same time. And yes to your second question

Good question. I did use a preamp for a while, and I got tired of having to carry it around with me. So I don't use it anymore to just simplify.
this is dope, can you compare it with the whammy V? have you tried it yet?
Thanks, I haven't tried the whammy yet, I'll keep that in mind!
