    Also 6:04 being there helping swapping a transmission out of a Toyota matrix on a buds ride... sometimes the internet can be a godsend for some steps of a build.

      That whole front end has been reconstructed. Now that the motors running strong, he's taking the time to clean up the exterior!

    Exhaust sounds pretty darn good!!! I got Black Widow on my 70 Chevelle and its too loud at times.

    I'd love to see the timetable and bill for ths project. Total labour cost, parts cost, and time spent in the shop.

      It definitely cost less than EV swapping a C10, that's for sure! lol The process for a simple motor swap isn't too difficult. The real labor comes in with manual swapping an automatic car and a big part of the time it takes comes from waiting on the correct parts to arrive!

      Ya this swap surely took lots of time, I jobbed out the identical swap. Lsa in a 71’ 6spd, vintage air. Suspension. U name it.
      I even did the shop llc centre console. Not the dash tho, I did notice this car had the shops stuff.
      My build price was in the 40s.

      @@drewwhite4031 I did a super budget version of this on my 72 chevelle. Cammed 6.0 LS, t56 (non magnum), holley terminator efi, semi built 12 bolt rear. Have under 10k in the whole deal.

      We brought in our friend Harvey to fabricate the new tunnel because we were swamped with the C10 and Delorean builds, and unfortunately no one gave him a camera to film it :(

      That car got a create 350, and a full ridetech suspension upgrade. It was surprisingly quick once we took the carb off and replaced it with a Holley Sniper EFI

    On your LS3 Swap in the 70 Chevelle what did you do for the tachometer connection on the engine side? Also I cannot seem to get the OHMS figured out on my tremec t6. Also did you have to customize the crossmember to fit your new driveshaft?

    Would love to see a comparison between these cars , I have some aftermarket parts on a 68 Camaro build and it would be great to to see how ridetech bolt on stuff compares to that roadster shop chassis

      There's definitely a big difference because the Roadstershop parts are designed around the entire chassis. We have an over view on the chassis coming this week!

    302.2 pan
    Big step finallllly pried over the cross member. Yeah,i installed with the trans/4 spd auto ls.
    Oil pan is on the cross member?the smaller step.
    And im gunna space my motor mounts with washers to get um onto the frame perches.
    Drivers side bolts tru.
    Passenger side one inch high still and inboard 1/2inch

    Is it easy to put cold air intake in?

      a CAI is a great supporting mod that is super easy to do. It won't have any noticeable effect on performance though unless your ECU is tuned for it, or if you have any other modifications to your motor that would require the higher density air flow!

    What motor mounts did you use? Did you shift the motor forward? Stock position?
    I have a 69. LS3 Motor coming October. Just wondering when I pull my 454 which motor mounts do I need to use and what position is best for clearances. I am also removing my Muncie M22 replacing with TKX-5. If that helps. Mainly curious what mounts work best and what position is best. Thanks.

      On a na setup probably doesn't matter

      @@doc3379 a blower setup will require a lot bigger injectors and could cause a pressure drop for a short time in a long distance between the rail and the regulator. How likely is that to happen who knows.

    Really sweet guys, I have a question for you guys, and I'm sorry if it sounds stupid but I'm not a machanic, but doesn't the fuel regulator normally live under the bonnet (sorry hood) for adjusting if needed, as before love the fact you trust and use Haltech, awesome video guys 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘

      That was around 50k, full ridetech, willwoods, rack and pin, built TSP LS3, strange rear end and some other goodies

      @@SalvagetoSavage I still prefer a sbc or bbc I'm partial to old school power I'm currently daily driving a 4 barrel sbc in my blazer it's reliable rain or shine and less of a wiring nightmare
