I AM HEADING THAT DIRECTION FOR A DAILY DRIVER I WILL REQUIRE ASSISTANCE FROM ALL THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE MY GAL PAL SHALL LEARN MANUAL OR SUFFER SHAME FOR LIFE LOL
I had a '68 with a 327 2bbl, stickshift with positrack and studded rears in Alberta, when I was 19. I still long for that truck. It would track dead straight at 75mph on black ice and drift with perfect predictability on ice, dirt and pavement. Alas, it came down with a bad valve seal, so I let it rot in a field and moved to Vancouver. But it remains my favourite vehicle ever. There was something extra well-engineered about this make/model/year. I must get another one.
Rough idea where it might be? Would be cool to find again, might still be in good shape. I would drive from Ontario with my 67 to help you try and find it lol
Love it. Truck is done so well, not too much overkill anywhere. Seems like it doesnt have much gear which is a bonus having kick arse torque everywhere. One could run a 4 speed behind this and hop on the fwy no problem.
Love the salvage yard markings on the firewall, great little touch! Hope i gan get my 70 c10 to be half what this is. I bought it at 18 (34 now) and been slowly fixing rust, about to send the 350 bored 40 over to the machine shop to get refreshed, this is giving me some serious inspiration! Beautiful build!
@@jimmycline4778 Faded, oh yes! Rust hell no. Glossy clear over rust and ?? looks stupid. If I had known many yrs ago I could keep my car primer and just seal it with flat clear It would still be unpainted today .
Absolutely sweet truck! Not a Chevy guy, however the C10 especially built in this style and looks like this is just one of the few trucks that are and always will be a timeless classic! This is built just right for a badass daily driver that can take a beating and also be fun every time! One of the better trucks that's been on the channel
Excellent presentation. Thank you. I really like this one. For me, the ride height is perfect and not excessively slammed. The engine and stick shift are perfect along with the amazing patina. I want this truck.
agree! Lowered some where its not bone jarring stiff, nothings rubbing or bottoming out is the route I take. Too many lowered C10s even a 2013 wasnt done right, trucks were useless and no fun to drive.
The most, “ Based,” car video I have seen in a long time. Old Skool all the way! I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s in Sydney! Classic Aussie and American muscle cars everywhere! 🔥💪🇦🇺🇺🇸
I’ve drove my 68 c10 for 35 years and now Raycons are my stereo because of the sound of the truck. Mine is all 68 with a vette 327 500 hp auto 2500 stall you would drive it. So easy what you say about old I spank on a daily basis!!!!
👍🏻Like #151. I have crazy work hours now but still watch all of your work. This truck is a rip snortin' beast and I totally love the thinking behind the entire build. You have some amazing friends.
I live in the Midwest and I agree that rust would not fly around here as the whole thing would turn to dust within a couple of years but as a California car that is not so much an issue and I think it is cool to not have to worry about denting your car. Definitely not everyone’s cup of tea though😁
Way COOL Chevy C10!! I Love this channel! All the Great Rides you show "💯" This truck was made to haul. It just Hauls A$$ now, or a Christmas Tree 😆 The Patina look with Roadster chassis AND a Cup Motor. Life is good 👍. Keep knocking them out of the Park LA Autotopia!!
This took me back to my 1970 C/10 I restored it was before the LS days but she had a hot 350 with an awesome sounding cam and a 3 on the tree good times for sure. Awesome video thanks so much for sharing. ✌🏻from Ga.
Love it. Love his style. If it were up to me I'd have left the steelies on to make it more sleeper looking. But even with these wheels it's Still an absolutely beautiful truck. And it's a gearbox. Hell yeah
Nice C-10. Looks like it runs out quite well. I was given a nice 68' c-10 , 120k actual miles, I am the third generation owner . Back when Chevy had nice trucks and before the Government bailout.
this truck is perfect the only thing I would have done differently Is I would have either went long wheel base fleet side or swb stepside. Perfect patina, perfect manual trans everything. Love it. oh and thats from a Ford guy :)
I had a 67 long bed, three on the tree and straight six. I put a 350 combo in it and it was a fun toy with three feet of pipe and glass packs on both sides. Regular mufflers would literally blow up hahahahahaha
THis is similar to how most looked 70s through 90s. Drivetrain built, turned and stopped well, interior "ok"...body somewhat straight faded paint or primer. All we could afford back then
I would have given it a nice paint job and an engine that produced about half that much power myself . Two-tone blue and white , with some Chrome five-spoke Cragar wheels .
Ive been talking to the wife lately about what vehicle I want after our home remodel. Porsche has been talked about (older, I aint rich) some other possible cars and one that comes to mind is a low truck like this one with a bench seat. something to have her on my side but i can play with. only thing is that I would like to take it to the twisty roads and bench seats kind of ruin that. But either way, I think I am leaning more towards a build like this.
You can have an upholstery shop mod your bench so it as a little bolster, fit to your physique etc. Like Benchs on these full size trucks for some reason.
Dont think GM ever made a truck of any yr that wasnt cool. You can sure tell the crazy torque the way you are both being set back in the seat in 3rd and 4th...when most have flattened out in 2nd
Surprised when I stripped my interior to see a mounting boss for shoulder belts on my 67 'El. If I had to do it over Id retrofit them. Still have laps, never got hurt in any accident.
Hey Shawn ( GRILL) love the truck so badass 😎 my truck Is a 72 shortbed red and white with a big block 650 horse 400 turbo Trans it's all new body and powertrain
Please, please, please for the love of God get rid of the crappy non copyrighted TH-camr music during the drive portion of the videos. Otherwise I love what you’re putting out.

Saw this truck at SEMA outside and absolutely loved it. Glad to see you covering this truck so I can find out more about it.
Love it. "A little sleeper" he says. That's a full blown sleeper bigger than the farm truck. Completely awesome!

My absolute favorite truck. Totally my dream truck. What a great build
There is soooooooooooo much to love about this truck.......what a gem!
No gratuitous burnouts. Thank you. Good video, great truck.
Agree....Never been impressed by burnouts even as a kid. Pointless
Jerry owns an amazing off road shop as well. The guy is car culture all the way!
🙌🏼🏁
Sounds so solid running through the gears, something you can just jump in and rip. Love it
What a GREAT build. Amazing sound too, and so great how it stays planted
No flex, says planted that frame is solid as a rock👌

Great truck, beautiful scenery, always appreciate some build specs, glad y’all did a longer video on this one 👍

I dig every single one of these videos. There is no way I could ever pick a favorite. Thank you
I know it's a small detail, but I love the original windshield wipers.
That #6175 race truck inspired me to go to school for CAD 15 years ago
That is a sick truck. Plenty of natural power and the undercarriage is sweet with no short cuts. That would be a great daily beater.
This is my favorite truck of all time. This was absolutely tastefully done. Outstanding.
A real truck. Can drive it anywhere, has some payload thick metal and can still lean over the bed and grab a tool
This is my favorite truck since I was younger. Best body style Chevy ever created. Badd ass.❤️💙💜😁😎🤑
23:56 “why do they get so close to me” 🤣
Gotta love a C10 🇺🇸💪🔥
