What is one thing you stopped wearing that you never want to buy again? 😍👇🏼 And if you want to know how I came up with this list, watch this step-by-step guide: th-cam.com/video/FYLR1_XlmGg/w-d-xo.html ❤
We are all so different! I feel crew necks make me look fat and I love v-necks. I also love leather moto jackets, love the edge and rock and roll vibe. Of course that's me, we need to know ourselves and our style! Thanks for sharing, even if we may make different choices it is so interesting and informative to see others' choices.
Another never item for me is a knitted top with short sleeves! Too cold for winter and we get scorching summers, so all I want to wear is thin lightweight clothing. Not a warm your torso fitted knit top.
I hear you, sometimes gray is blah. I realized it’s my favorite sweater and dress color, when I declutterred and found I had 7 gray dresses and 6 gray sweaters 😂
Yes, I too like not wearing pajamas, my comforter is really warm, but I do travel a lot and often have roommates in group travel or hostels, so I keep some pajamas for those occasions
I caved into all the advice that a black leather jacket is a “wardrobe must” 20 years ago. So, I bought a black suede “classic” moto jacket, but it has been languishing unworn in my closet ever since. Even though I chose suede rather than shiny leather to soften the look a bit, it still feels too tough-looking for me and black isn’t a good color on me, either. Last autumn I bought a similar jacket in a taupe/beige colored suede and have already worn it over and over, it’s so much more me! After this flop, I now ignore those “must-have” lists. I don’t even wear jeans, I hate them.
So agree with you. Made the mistake of not getting a neutral colour too, and when my waist expanded it wouldn’t do up. It’s never seen the light of day sadly.
I stopped wearing twinsets (knit-top and knit-jacket), because I look with my broad shoulders like a boxing-champion😂and I quit wearing yellow colors, because in summertime vesps, bees and flies like it too much😮and unluckily I had to stop wearing heels over 5cm,because of my injured knee, but I found some good looking shoes with lower heels. 🎉
I agree with you on the ballet flats, v necks, clutch bags, grey and animal prints. I do like cotton PJ's coz I live in a cooler climate, just two pairs tho, one to wear and one in the laundry. I would never ever wear a floral print
I haven’t watched TH-cam being too exhausted and busy because of work and life in general. However, now that I am on holiday, love to watch your latest video again. I am still working on decluttering my closet again. I, too, am trying to get rid of my vests because they do not flatter my figure but keeping one sport vest, too. Thank you for sharing your wardrobe choices! ❤
The item I will never purchase is a trenchcoat. When I need to wear an outerwear piece it’s always because I'm cold and a trechcoat is just too thin for me in order to keep me warm🤷♀️😅
I didn’t own a trench coat until I was over 40 years old. Then I bought one, and OMG, a trench is perfect for western Washington state. We have a short very cold season, but our spring, summer, and fall seasons are wet and last forever. A trench can be worn over a T-shirt or dress when it’s warm, but over wool sweaters and wool when it’s cooler.
I got a surprising amount of wear from a trench coat I got this year. I’ve worn it over a maxi dress on cooler summer days and with a jumper underneath on cooler autumn days. As it gets colder I will switch to a wool coat or puffer jacket though. I’m glad I got an oversized one with wider sleeves, means I can fit a jumper under it and that lengthens the wear season.
Hi Kim. I don't buy high heels that are too high. Flats, kitten heels or medium wedges are okay. I don't like bright colors or blah colors so I limit my colors to rich jewel tones like purple and burgundy and navy and black. I like gold but I'm more attracted to silver. I know there's more but my mind is blank. 😂
Oh heck, Kim. I really need to start watching your videos and listening to you. I was tempted by a bomber jacket and like the look, but I have other things that I can and do wear instead. I like the look of some jumpsuits on other people, but when you have a bit of a belly, they’re actually not that flattering. Plus I hate having to take my top off to go to the bathroom. Especially public bathrooms. And I’ve thought of the idea of recreating that look using two separates. I even wear a tankini for this reason. Looks like a one piece, but going to toilet is so much easier. Totally agree with you on clutch bags. I hate carrying anything in my hand. Cross body bags are definitely my thing too. One item I would never wear is the latest trend in see through clothing. A sheer top with a tank underneath, yes. That’s it. Nothing that pretends to be a skirt and reveals underwear. No.
I buy something like this for the "choker" necklace (2 necklaces that I have are the same exact length, both from Swarovski): www.swarovski.com/en-SI/p-M5643021/Ortyx-necklace-Triangle-cut-White-Rhodium-plated/?variantID=5643021 For the lower (or the middle one) I have something like this (I own exactly this necklace): www.pdpaola.com/products/icy-silver-necklace And then I also have a necklace extender from Swarovski 😊 I hope this helps!
Jumpsuits/playsuits are also really difficult to fit, they have to be right at so many points on the body, especially torso and leg lengths, shoulders, hips and waist. Brands just can’t make one cut that will fit all this on every woman, so the chances are at least one of these measurements will be too far off to look right or feel comfortable. I’ve never had one I loved, so have given up.
I stopped trying to find the perfect black leather jacket and trench coat that I could wear since I live in a tropical country and for me those items aren't practical. Decluttered my low waist and skinny jeans and I would never come back. I don't have ballet flats anymore- I have pointed toe slingbacks instead. Stopped wearing costume jewelry and now go for minimal gold pieces.
I look like a man in a bomber and like the Gestapo in a leather jacket 😅😂 I now only buy comfy shoes, no super high heels. Also no tight clothes, and no short skirts. I LOVE trousers. It's basically the opposite from what I wore in my 20s 😂
Low rise jeans and skinny jeans I never wear. They are not very flattering on my body and they feel also very much out of style. I tend to be attracted to yellow colour, and in theory I LOVE it, but it also doesn't look good with my skin tone, so sadly I had to declutter all my yellow clothes
Your color pallet is similar to mine. 🖌 I'm high-contrast in the deep-winter color category and don't wear greens, yellows, grays, and most pale colors. I love blacks, whites, and rich shades in the red family. YaY! 🌟🍎 PS: I also don't like pom-pom hats, ballerina shoes, animal prints, and bomber jackets. I've been considering a jumpsuit, but you just reality-checked for me. Cool. I'll pass. I do like the occasional plaid shirt, and v-neck tops though. 🙂
I don't wear leather jacket because it's uncomfortable...It could be wider to be comfortable, but then It just doesn't fit anywhere.. 🤗🤷♀️ Great video like always ❤😘
An item that I will never buy is skinny jeans or low rise jeans, they are not flattering on me. I also don’t buy pjs, I love to sleep with just underwear. 😊
I hate vnecks also. They make people look old and animal prints - especially the leopard makes me always feel uncomfortable, because as I was a little girl only woman wear these prints that would go in bed with every man for money. I can‘t get it out of my brain 😅🙈
I hate wearing black as all outfit, top and and pants in black as an example. I just don’t like it, find it too too goth. I hate off the shoulder or strap hanging tops too, just find them tacky and anything crop, like tops or shorts, it just looks cheap, no matter how it is styled. maybe because I always had classic style. I don’t shop anymore, I don’t declutter either. I pack things away and wear them again as I used to shop a lot but now I find it unnecessary 🙂
why own a leather jacket? it is like owning a fur jacket/coat. so much animal cruelty involved. So many beautiful jackets that don't require direct animal cruelty.

most pump high heels! if it is uncomfortable after 1 hour I will never wear it
V necks and scoop necks don't usually suit small busts but are ESSENTIAL to balance proportions for large-chested ladies (like me).
Absolutely agree!! 🥰
Spot on v necks scoop perfect

Yes, that is so true, it's nice to know that we don't need to own everything to feel great with our style 😊 Thanks for sharing!
You are so right about jumpsuits!!😅
Haha 😉😊
Hello ...with those winter hats with pompon on top...I cut them all off and they look perfect now....and keep you warm.
Uuu, nice idea! 😊
I don’t buy turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks. They look awful on me and are very restrictive!
Another never item for me is a knitted top with short sleeves! Too cold for winter and we get scorching summers, so all I want to wear is thin lightweight clothing. Not a warm your torso fitted knit top.
Agree, I have only one knitted top with short sleeves and it's definitely a challenge to style it 😅🙈
I hear you, sometimes gray is blah. I realized it’s my favorite sweater and dress color, when I declutterred and found I had 7 gray dresses and 6 gray sweaters 😂

Yes, I so agree, I also made same mistakes buying "wardrobe must's" and that never ended well, hehe 🙈 Thanks for sharing!
So agree with you. Made the mistake of not getting a neutral colour too, and when my waist expanded it wouldn’t do up. It’s never seen the light of day sadly.
I love your style, and your eyeshadow!! That shade looks good on me too, but I don’t have any right now, it’s inspiring me to get some :)
Oh yes, a good point, I had to declutter a beach towel once because the bees loved it too much 😂😂 Thanks for sharing! 🥰
Seeing you upload made me so happy today and made me look forward to the end of my work day. New fan of yours here. 🥰
Aww, this makes me so happy to hear! 🥰❤️

Yes for me, pjs are a must, sometimes with a wool vest over the top as I get very cold. Winters are chilly here.
I haven't worn sleepwear since I was 16! PJ's are 'passion killers' in the bedroom anyways!😂
Never had a Christmas jumper, playsuit, gumboots either.🙌
Hahaha, love this 🤣😉
Very stylish😘😘😘😘😘😘
So funny, I actually love your style and have a similar one, but many of the items you mentioned, I absolutely love!
That is funny! 😉
That’s fashion for us! 🤣

I can relate with you more than some other ppl in wardrobe decisions.
I also don't wear ballerina's - I just don't like the style. But: I looooove green (and I don't like red 😄) We could have swapped our wardrobes! 😉
Hehe, yes 😜🥰
The item I will never purchase is a trenchcoat. When I need to wear an outerwear piece it’s always because I'm cold and a trechcoat is just too thin for me in order to keep me warm🤷♀️😅
I can sooo agree, I do own it, but I rarely wear it 🙈😉

Having a capsule wardrobe totally changed the game for me! I do love grey though
I’m a neutrals girly 😝
Yessss, for me too, I just love capsule wardrobes so much 😍😍

W about geometric maxi dresses with belts

Haha, a thing that pretends to be a skirt and reveals underwear, I know exactly what you mean 😉😊
You look great in everything! 🙏
Aw, thank you! 😊
The black hair looks good with your beautiful eyes but I'm not used to it yet 😮
Things I don’t buy are high heels and turtle necks. So uncomfortable.
What size chains do you buy to wear two or three necklaces
I buy something like this for the "choker" necklace (2 necklaces that I have are the same exact length, both from Swarovski): www.swarovski.com/en-SI/p-M5643021/Ortyx-necklace-Triangle-cut-White-Rhodium-plated/?variantID=5643021 For the lower (or the middle one) I have something like this (I own exactly this necklace): www.pdpaola.com/products/icy-silver-necklace And then I also have a necklace extender from Swarovski 😊 I hope this helps!

Low rise jeans never again. So agree. Most unflattering things ever unless you’re stick thin.

They’re so hard to fit well, for each of us as individuals.
Amazing
Im all about comfort as well therefore no heels, jumpsuits, jean jackets, skirts or dresses for me. Love neutral colors and natural fabrics.
Yesss, comfort is so important 😉 thanks for sharing! 😘
I hate vest, clutches, the zebra print and chokers, the other things i just love to wear them

I don't buy any deep V-neck jumpers or shirts.❤

I don't wear belts, ballet flats, shirts and t-shirts, or anything uncomfortable or boxy. I have curves :D.
