Weird results Justin, mine performs better than the Ryujin 3 by 4 degrees celsius in a 20 degree room(7600X tested, my 7800X3D wont show much difference). Might want to check your mounting and make sure L Connect is installed.

We actually remount the system to ensure this is the case and see if there is a difference in temps. Also understand a 7600x is very different than a 7700x and higher in how it performs.

On your Hydroshift radiator, is the "Lian Li" lettering facing outward, visible from outside the case?
If so, would it be possible to rotate the radiator so the lettering faces inward into the case, hidden from view?
Or would that not be possible?

I like the hoses being tucked away. But I'm sort of afraid that even if I installed it with Push / Pull fans the hoses wouldn't be long enough not to kink. Oh and I suspect that the L Connect software is using that much CPU is down to the screen on the Pump / Block. I'm just running fans and L Connect is using approximately 0.5% of my CPU.

All 3 versions of Hydroshifts have different fans. 360S has P28 fans, 360TL has TL (non LCD) fans. Both these types of fans has no RGB on the blades and can be bought separately if needed.

I find these numbers hard to believe - how is that even possible to have 10~ degree C difference in gaming between Asus Ryujin lll and Lian Li hydroshift? It's not like they are that different in radiator/fan thickness or else (someting is off here). Half a year ago I have purchased THE best AIO on the market ( EK Nucleus CR360 as all the reviews CROWNED it the best AIO cooler) but it turned out that the performance was on par with my Deepcool Castle 360 and if that's not enough? now I'm thermal throttling in the summer months (26 degrees C room temperature) on my ryzen 7600x (running cinebench R23 CPU lowers the clock speeds and keeps it at 94 C).Long story short: I think it's a Fuck!ng joke as I can't keep my 7600x without thermal throttling in worst case scenarios with ''THE best'' (so so good) AIO on the market ,or maybe there is something wrong with my unit? I doubt that. But still... take these reviews with a grain of salt :)

I want to like Lian Li Hydroshift and the TL fans, but they all require L-Connect. I have experienced bad memory leaks with L-Connect before, to the point I reconnected my Galahad AIO and infinity fans to PWM headers instead just so I can remove L-Connect permanently. Since then I decided for all future builds, I will only use fans and AIO that can connect to PWM headers. This unfortunately also mean Hydroshift and the TL fans are out of list, along with all Corsair ICue link products.

I feel you, I hate all the insanely bloated, resource hogging peripheral RGB software out there -- all the companies are guilty of it.
From a technical standpoint, there's absolutely zero reason software like this should need as much resources as they use ...and continuously!
RGB control could easily be handled by a simple one-off control packet over serial I/O, or handled onboard devices by a cheap microcontroller + NAND.
Have you tried any of the third-party RGB control software like SignalRGB, OpenRGB, JackNetRGB? Curious if they're any better.

Idk. My friend just got one of these and the only real bend is up where it terminates into the rad and even then the tubes are wide open. I really just think his data got thrown off due to abnormal cpu usage. Every other review has the normal .3-3% cpu usage and show temps as good or better than previous lian li models.
Abnormal cpu usage is a pretty typical “bug” with lian li lcd screens but it’s very easy to fix. Just takes a few minutes. Doesn’t seem like he took the time to fix it. I would take his numbers with a grain of salt
