You can use a steamer and steam the dash mat so that it lays flat and looks nicer and not all crumpled up. You can also get it really damp, not dripping, but damp, and lay it on the dashboard and then set the truck in the sun so the sun comes through the windshield and heats it up. It will lay a whole lot flatter and not look crumpled up. But the steamer is the best.
Things are interesting. Son has land in North Carolina and has offered us a bit to put a summer cabin on. It's going to take a lot of work, getting an area cleared, getting it leveled, putting in septic and some arrangement for water, finding out how to hook up electricity. Looking forward to the challenge.
