I think the reason why (and it's a good thing) people are so invested in these Sims, is that this let's play - more than previous ones - really feels like watching a soap opera. Despite, and maybe because, there is no intended overarching story imposed by the player, the behaviours of the characters feel more "organic", even though it's entirely the audience imposing their own stories, that's kind of exactly how soaps work, it's as much about what the audience reads in rather than what the script dictates. Watching James basically let the triplets do their own thing and the focus is usually on the oldest kids seems so like real parents. I have a friend with seven kids and the youngest kids definitely get by doing lots of stuff that their older siblings never could have done at the same age. My friend literally told me “after your first kid where you worry a lot about doing all the right things the nervousness, worrying, and fretting you have with the first starts to fade after each kid after that.” James has completely represented this with this family in this series. By the time the triplets came along Quinn and Koji were hiring a nanny and not being involved as much. And some older siblings do take responsibility to help their younger siblings. I grew up with a friend who had four other siblings. His middle brother was often helping care for their younger siblings. He was more like Ash and Willow who seem very driven to focus on their future. I love keeping up with each generation of the Bigwallet family. I love that James mostly just plays to the cues the game gives him rather than forcing a storyline. I never really know what’s going to happen in each episode…even when he’s made a plan and set a goal because those plans and goals aren’t strictly kept either by James or the game or both. So there’s always a level of unpredictability that comes with a Bigwallet episode.
I think real science babies do actually have a higher chance of multiples... But I bet the game would object to that full of a household and James is certainly not going to cheat it larger again (unless mcc just removes the limit entiely, I could be misunderstanding how this works)
Oh dude!dont!i had Joaquin have a science baby with Sergio cause those two were in a poly relationship with my sim and like he had a kid with her and so I was like ‘you two can have a kid together and then Sergio can have one with my sim and it’ll be cool’ and then Joaquin went and had his science baby with Sergio and they came back with triplets😭and I was playing this storyline out that she was going to bring in Knox into the relationship since she was pregnant with his child too,I was so shocked about it as well that I just sat in silence when I saw the third pop up for the triplet😂I had to tell my bff about it and so I had four babies that they had to take care of
Since Alder likes caring so much since apparently he’s doing it automatically for the kids his goal should be big happy family or something and have a bunch of kids. 😂😂 I’m sure James would love to play through that torment again.
Even though he disagreed with most of the comments from last vid it is really cool that James actually reads them, makes the series feel more collaborative in a way which is neat

I think Willow can be moved to the basement. She has that goth gamer girl vibe who would thrive in there. Then convert the guest room into another bedroom and maybe move some of the older kids over there and have the triplets on the other side of the house so they stick together.

one attribute you should always give them, is the neat attribute. so you can tell them to go on a cleaning frenzy. - - if you coordinate the toddlers activities, so they do the same thing at the same time, things go smoother. they go to bed together, they get up together, they play together, they eat together. - get the fridge display case from geto to work, and fill it with food from the luxury buffet table. also cook a grand meal, and place it all in the display case. toddlers can get their own food. this also helps feed a picky eater. - put a miss kitty in each toddlers/child/infants inventory. when they want to play with a toy, they will bring it out on their own. - put all of their activities in one room. so when they are being creative/playing music, or doing homework, may times they will go for something else in the room to make them happy. - make sure to have an outdoor activity for your active sims, such as monkey bars, swings, the pirate ship, the slide and ball pit. the active Sims will bring the others out to play with them. - make sure you have a microphone and a piano/guitar/violin. the savant will be automatically drawn to it, even if they dont play well. - i also took your advice and had them like all of the activities, so they get fun out of them when they do anything. except for mischief, i dont select mischief - take the kids fishing. you dont know which one really likes it until they go, then they tell you on the spot, and gives them an activity to get them out from under you, and give you some peace and quiet. send them all together as a family.

Whenever pets die in a household your not actively playing it glitches and gives them the wrong one, it's a very old bug
“They’re so loud I can’t hear anything” ah yes that old debacle 😂😂 the energy in this video made me laugh so much
I think Willow can be moved to the basement. She has that goth gamer girl vibe who would thrive in there. Then convert the guest room into another bedroom and maybe move some of the older kids over there and have the triplets on the other side of the house so they stick together.
2:42 Gotta love fiery James 🤣
If you just need X collectibles, you can just keep looking for frogs in the pond over and over. You can literally just stand there and search for frogs until the collection is complete. Boring, but it can be done. Especially since the regular spawners don't seem to show up anymore.
Another fairly easy one is the city. Spice district alone there are three posters you can grab on any given day and snow globes.
pls get alder and aspen a part time job in their gap year! :D
Yeah Alder should totally be a babysitter!
That "bring out the lobsters" unlocked a memory I had completely forgotten. Took me way back. 😂
Best trait in the game is "always welcome". That's the first I choose for any sim, so that the sim can help with cooking or take a shower or a nap in their children's house :)
Lmao 🤣 james roasting us for being to invested is peak comedy also I agree that krista was just used for homework and school projects and alder was slacking. I think he’s just getting sympathy for being the pretty one. Also krista was always more into the eldest brother
Don't forget to bring Plahn Tayne back to life! I think the basil bush needs to be added to the family tree. hahaha
Missed opportunity to call the video 'the triplets are Growing Together' 😂
I wanna have what James had before filming this episode !! 😂 i loooove this chaotic energy
I would love to see a CAS makeover session of the triplets (and Sandalwood)! They need some help
This was such a funny episode, you can tell James was in a funny mood
James, the whole reason we comment is for the chance of being yelled at by you in the next part. 😂
Don't tell him, he may stop!
I’m so happy he yelled ah fetuu! It’s all I wanted!
this whole episode was the epitome of "I'm over it" X'D
listen, I will not apologize for looking out for my nieces and nephews (yes, I've decided that your Sims are now my nieces and nephews). it's not my fault that you have created such real and relatable characters that it's so easy to become attached to them! also, thanks for taking care of my baby Oak AND fixing his hair back to its proper texture. you're amazing James
one attribute you should always give them, is the neat attribute. so you can tell them to go on a cleaning frenzy. -
- if you coordinate the toddlers activities, so they do the same thing at the same time, things go smoother. they go to bed together, they get up together, they play together, they eat together.
- i also took your advice and had them like all of the activities, so they get fun out of them when they do anything. except for mischief, i dont select mischief
- take the kids fishing. you dont know which one really likes it until they go, then they tell you on the spot, and gives them an activity to get them out from under you, and give you some peace and quiet. send them all together as a family.
"My laaaaady" 😂 23:00
Anyone notice quinn lives in her robe😂😂 it’s like she never gets out of her robe since the triplets been born 4:24
maybe the toddlers are obsessed with Alder because he's a goofball? that's pretty cool if that's a thing actually
I think it’s because of his Big Happy Family aspiration?
@@loverrlee But he only got that this episode... although, did they start becoming more attached to him after that changeover?
@@nannasofie maybe? He also has the Family Oriented trait right? I am only guessing but it makes sense if toddler Sims would like the family oriented Sims more than other Sims.
I found out from DrGluon that holiday crackers are a good collectible, collect 8 of the little Octipus-looking creatures, or collect all the posters from the electrical boxes in city living. I think there are only 8 or 9 of those too.
"...someone count that" I'm rollin'🤣
I honestly think you did great for how many Sims you are juggling! I would have moved them out when they graduated!
Maybe Alder is always taking care of the kids because he's slacking, and the babies were like 'oh well since you're free...'
Happy Tuesday!!! Coffee and a new Growing Together episode, perfection👌🏻
I just watched that episode of Grand Designs Revisited you were talking about yesterday and after you mentioned it I could totally see the inspo for the build 😃
