Just ordered the mevoplus….. My question to you: if you play an E6 course and you always have a tendency to the left, for example, then in reality you would align yourself to the right. Can I choose the direction myself and stop, for example, 10 feet to the right of the flag or do I have to align myself on my mat
You can pick your aiming point in the software and then just hit your normal shot aligned normally on your mat. Hope I understood your question correctly.
Hi, I just found your channel - thanks for the useful content! I have a question about your projector. I see you have it mounted in line with the center of the screen, yet you are hitting offset by maybe about a foot or so (from what I can tell). I'm doing a similar build but with the Carl's 7.7x10 screen and have purchased the same 671ST projector. I'll need to hit 16" right of center. I'm worried that the projector will be right over my head as I hit and will get struck by my swing - most likely with short irons where the swing is more upright and I'm standing closer to the ball. Could you please let me know if you took any measures to mount it higher or farther forward/back to stay out of the way of your swing? It appears as though you have plenty of clearance even with your wedge shots. Thanks for any tips you could share!
Definitely! The best thing you can do is try to estimate where it will hang using the throw distance calculator www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-TH671ST-projection-calculator-pro.htm#calc Looks like for your screen size it will hang about 9'8" away from your screen. Carl's told me that the projector shouldn't hang much higher than the enclosure roof because it can block the projector throw if it's too heigh above the top of the enclosure. I plan on experimenting with mine soon to see how much higher I can get it. If you haven't seen it you can get all your enclosure dimension's from this PDF hubspot.carlofet.com/hubfs/Product%20Documents/Specifications/DIY%20Golf%20Simulator%20Enclosure%20Kit%20Specifications.pdf?acc=d820bff1a819b19022b3ceee86a3c13a Once you've estimated about where it should go you can try to hang a small cardboard box or shoebox from your ceiling in that spot and try to take some practice swings to see if you come close to it. If it doesn't seem like it's going to work you can try another projector option with a longer throw that will sit farther away from the screen or a shorter throw projector and floor mount it in front of you with one of these: shop.carlofet.com/extras/your-favorite-golf-simulator-accessories/floor-mounted-projector-enclosure?acc=d820bff1a819b19022b3ceee86a3c13a My ceiling is pretty high so I needed a projector mount to drop it lower. I bought this projector mount on amazon and it works fine amzn.to/3PHG6sb When it comes time to actually set it up, this video gives exact instructions to get mounted in the right spot and change your PC settings to make sure your image fills the entire screen. It also goes through the projector central throw calculator. th-cam.com/video/o-lG1sfwzms/w-d-xo.html For me the projector was the most annoying part. Good luck!
@@friendly_golfer Thank you for the amazingly detailed reply! You're right, the estimated distance from screen is 9'8" which is about equal to my ball-screen distance, so it will be basically right over my head and less than 8' off the floor. If I could raise it to 8' plus, I'd be less concerned but, like you said, it can't be too far above the enclosure. I've been trying to avoid unboxing it and installing it just to try it out, so I might try the shoe box simulation first. Thanks again for taking the time to send such a thoughtful reply!
Ah… didn’t catch that you already had it. If it’s not going to work overhead and you want to stick with it you could also try putting it closer to the screen and using the zoom to enlarge the image and fill the screen. You might want to figure out a way to protect it from wild shots.

Great video Bobby. Thank you for showing us around the range.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. I wish you showed the path and other features. Also how accurate is path, swing direction etc? Thanks
Nice review, I haven't used FS Skills much but just created a few wedge games so I can test myself.
Thanks! Great for wedges...
Can you do a custom challenge using the FS Golf for iOS ?

Do you know if "FS Skills App" has been replaced by "Challenges"? TIA
Nope, they are different. I did a video on the challenges pretty recently.
Has anyone had success playing the Skills App on a pc?? If so - how did you do it?
I believe it’s only for iOS and android
Thanks for that. I contacted help desk and they said they are working on making it available for the PC.
Thanks for sharing@@Nosssound
