Yes, The San Antonio river walk is a very nice place to walk and people watch 😄 Lots of restaurants to choose from also! Take a boat ride to see the historic buildings too!
Electric Ham I learned to use half of the stevia for my coffee so the after taste is not that bad. The one from Starbucks had monk fruit in it and it tastes better

The Missions are Concepcion, San Jose, San Juan and Espada. They are 2-3 miles apart and are fee free. If you like looking at the architecture of old homes, there are several neighborhoods that I love. Keystone Park is a good one, four blocks of Tudor Revival style homes from the 20's. Have fun!

Nutritional yeast is nothing like marmite/veggiemite. It's a love hate thing, I personally love it, it's kinda like a tangy boulion paste, very savoury, hard to describe as I'm finding now... Try it for sure! Veggiemite I think is much milder from what I remember from Australia visit.
Marmite/Vegemite is kind of like a thick paste soy sauce...I have used it to make a mushroom gravy or added a bit to a vegetable stew to give it bit of umami/beefy flavor, it is good that way...but to have it on toast or as a vegemite sandwich as the Aussies/Brits do might be an acquired taste!

I see your mom has one too and our American friends use those as well. Is it an American thing? Ooh, I'd like to try the white mulberries. I can confirm, yeast flakes do not taste like Vegemite. Vegemite is extremely salty. I like just a teeny amount of veg scraped on buttered toast. It's pretty delicious:)
I tried vegemite about a couple of decades ago when I was in New Zealand. I was 13 so maybe my palate wasn't yet developed enough, haha...I found it to be absolutely disgusting. It was like a very tangy concentrated veggie flavor. I enjoy nutritional yeast, but that's partly because I find it to complement other flavors instead of overpowering them (like Vegemite would do). Also! I used to live in SA - the Pearl Brewery area is cool. It's at the very end of the Riverwalk so you could combine the two. :)

Dr Dray great vlog !! Could you talk about hypertrophic scars on the face and how to treat them ? I have recently started to develop these raises scars on my face which are almost colorless or white in color and can be seen visibly in sunlight and other strong lightnings. I advise anyone with a ragweed pollen allergy to try a tiny amount at first;or, to avoid stevia altogether. The pollen and sweetener have similar proteins and could potentially cause symptoms similar to fall allergies or full on anaphylaxis in allergic individuals.
I love nunaturals stevia, to me it is the best tasting stevia, and I usually buy it at Fred Meyer (Kroger), but i might be biased because it is made in the town over from me which is Eugene, OR. I love buying locally!

I don’t remember paying over $14 but when I was about to reorder through amazon, the lowest I can buy it for is about $24. Any suggestions on similar cleansing oil that is more affordable? Thank you.

River walk is very interesting and if you cruise on the little boat you see lots of hidden gems they will bring to your attention! Madhatters Tea House and Cafe haven’t been but looks interesting…on my list of things to do! Japanese Tea Garden, Pearl District, of course Six Flags and Sea World…haha! Museums and Churches....gardens....lots to do and always can go to the spas to relax…haha!

Hi Dr. Dray! I have been to San Antonio on business and yes, I loved the River walk and the cute little shops along the way. And just one word of advise, I was going to put my little Dog Roxie a female Yorkshire terrier and I was advised that they can pick up like a virus known as herpes zoster or herpes complex. Apparently they can get these sores on the mouth when attending a doggy daycare. This was a very high end doggy daycare where you could go on your iPhone or iPad or computer no matter how far you traveled and watch how your dog was socializing at the doggie daycare. But when I was advised about this herpes virus I no longer put my dog there nor did I want to. You and your mom look so beautiful together and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday. Dr Dray Yes, I know that the herpes virus remains dormant in the spine of humans. But this is something completely different and is passed on from dog to dog. It occurs from close contact with other dogs as well as the number of dogs that go in to doggy day care. I was told this is quite common. I think it may have something to do with cleanliness. I am not sure and I am not a doctor. I do have my PhD in organic chemistry and immunotherapy and so I just wanted to let you know so that you could ask them. Nutritional yeast tastes nothing like Vegemite or Marmite. Not close at all. Vegemite and Marmite are both very salty and have very strong flavors. I don’t find nutritional yeast cheesy, either.

I’ve been using the Cerave Healing Ointment on cuts and wounds. It really helps! I hope that’s fine to do. Cleanse, Ointment and bandaid. :-)

Dr Dray great vlog !! Could you talk about hypertrophic scars on the face and how to treat them ? I have recently started to develop these raises scars on my face which are almost colorless or white in color and can be seen visibly in sunlight and other strong lightnings. I do not know if these are a result of my acne. At the moment my skin is not breaking out.

I advise anyone with a ragweed pollen allergy to try a tiny amount at first;or, to avoid stevia altogether. The pollen and sweetener have similar proteins and could potentially cause symptoms similar to fall allergies or full on anaphylaxis in allergic individuals.

I love nunaturals stevia, to me it is the best tasting stevia, and I usually buy it at Fred Meyer (Kroger), but i might be biased because it is made in the town over from me which is Eugene, OR. I love buying locally!

Dr. Dray Need suggestions please. I finally found the skin regimen that my face skin can get on with, largely thanks to you. I’ve been using hada labo cleansing oil at night. I don’t remember paying over $14 but when I was about to reorder through amazon, the lowest I can buy it for is about $24. Any suggestions on similar cleansing oil that is more affordable? Thank you.

detox is not a real thing, aside from drug or alcohol withdrawal, in which case there is not a food recipe for that

Hiya! I live in SA but not from…few fun things to visit of course The Alamo! River walk is very interesting and if you cruise on the little boat you see lots of hidden gems they will bring to your attention! Madhatters Tea House and Cafe haven’t been but looks interesting…on my list of things to do! Japanese Tea Garden, Pearl District, of course Six Flags and Sea World…haha! Museums and Churches....gardens....lots to do and always can go to the spas to relax…haha!

Marmite/Vegemite is an acquired taste and I am always unable to describe to people how it tastes! salty, yes, yeasty, yes, but so much more than that! - as the commercial for Marmite in the UK says ' you either love it or hate it!' - Anyhoo, it is full of good things and great on toasted bread! but nothing like Nutritional Yeast

Hi Dr. Dray! I have been to San Antonio on business and yes, I loved the River walk and the cute little shops along the way.
And just one word of advise, I was going to put my little Dog Roxie a female Yorkshire terrier and I was advised that they can pick up like a virus known as herpes zoster or herpes complex. Apparently they can get these sores on the mouth when attending a doggy daycare. This was a very high end doggy daycare where you could go on your iPhone or iPad or computer no matter how far you traveled and watch how your dog was socializing at the doggie daycare. But when I was advised about this herpes virus I no longer put my dog there nor did I want to. You and your mom look so beautiful together and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday. Dr Dray Yes, I know that the herpes virus remains dormant in the spine of humans. But this is something completely different and is passed on from dog to dog. It occurs from close contact with other dogs as well as the number of dogs that go in to doggy day care. I was told this is quite common. I think it may have something to do with cleanliness. I am not sure and I am not a doctor. I do have my PhD in organic chemistry and immunotherapy and so I just wanted to let you know so that you could ask them. Nutritional yeast tastes nothing like Vegemite or Marmite. Not close at all. Vegemite and Marmite are both very salty and have very strong flavors. I don’t find nutritional yeast cheesy, either.
