When I was a kid, my parents wouldn’t let me get on my friends trampoline, a.k.a. The head buster. The only time I was allowed near a trampoline was during gymnastics, and I’d strap myself up and get on the apparatuses. 😆👌

It takes a lot for a show to capture my attention span because it’s like a toddlers!!😂😂You need to watch American Horror Story if you haven’t!!You also need to try Josie Maran Argan oil, I get a jumbo from QVC every year. That oil got me through accutane without my skin peeling off!!

You are exactly right about the book "Sharp Objects". This is one of the rare occasions when the film version far excels over the book. The book "Gone Girl",by the same author, was the exact opposite. The book was very good but the movie was simply dreadful. Have you and your mom watched the film "Howard's End" with Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, Helena Bonham Carter, vanessa Redgrave ? It is my very favorite movie from a novel by E.M. Forester. Since you like period pieces like Downton Abbey I think you would love this. I would also suggest a great suspense novel entitled "The Alice Network". It is very very hard to put it down once you start.

We went to those bouncey play gyms a lot when my daughter was young. We stopped not long after my friend’s daughter broke her wrist. The attendant, a much bigger guy, bounced right next to her and sent her flying. Hopefully it was addressed in the next staff meeting! But as a parent, it’s hard to say no sometimes, they love it, especially at a birthday party. The parents need to stop renting them I guess. Which would be me too I’m afraid. I didn’t realize the danger at the time. Thanks for the information about beta glucans. I didn’t realize they could possibly be effective against free radicals and UVA damage. I need to try the Aveeno.
Yeah i think they can be hazardous at birthday parties, when they are rented out and brought in to someone's backyard....more than the safe #of kids go in, and boom...fracture. As a child, I use to drink water out of a garden hose and fell out of massive tree, and I am still hear to tell the tale....childhood has its bumps and scrapes, that is for sure, lol

Hi Tina - Change to real soap laundry washing product. Even free and clear laundry detergent irritated my daughter’s eczema. Google it. I found a blogger who almost cured her toddler’s eczema with that switch. Also, Cerave in the tub as Dr Dray recommends is awesome for my daughter.

They have numerous products, but I was curious about your overall thoughts about the brand. My boyfriend enjoys their products and tends to stay away from parabens, sulphates, alcohols etc. I'm wondering if anything in their line is efficacious. I want him to check out your wonderful channel but he's very hard headed and stuck in this ways. His way of living closely resembles yours as he eats clean and takes care of himself. ✨Hi! I was wondering if someone has occasional rosacea can they still use Tretinoin? And if so how often? Should they start off applying a pea sized amount ex. every day or every other day and should it be applied before or after moisturizing the face? Which moisturizer would you recommend for dry skin if using Tretinoin? I love your vlogs they are always informative! 💝
I have rosacea and have been using Tretinoin .05% for about 7 years. I cleanse my face, moisturize with Eucerin calming and wait at least 30 minutes or longer then apply a pea size amount of retin-a. If my face gets angry I just stop for a day but most of the year I can do it. Be gentle with your face. Be vigilant with a mineral sunscreen. I like the La Roche Posay and Color Science but it took some time to find ones that agreed with my skin. I should add that I do have regular IPL treatments year round for my rosacea.
Thank you so much for all the great information I really appreciate! I have dry skin and I use Vanicream as my cleanser and Eucerin redness relief night cream. Eucerin calming is that the one with the blue or red cap? Which mineral sunscreen has the least white cast would you say of the ones you use: La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra-Light Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 or Color Science Sunforgetable Total Protection Face Shield SPR 50? Thanks again! 😁
What I use for sunscreen is the La roche-posay SPF 50 tinted mineral sunscreen as a base. I let that dry down and then apply the colorscience all calm SPF 50. The colorscience is quite pricey but a small amount goes a long way to keep redness down. I just make sure I have a good baseof the LRP. Everyone is different and what works for me did take some trial and error. I prefer the tinted mineral sunscreens for my face.

The Crown is great! I loved it, as well as Downton Abbey, it was so well done. After watching Downton Abbey, I would highly recommend watching the BBC documentary The True Story of Life Below Stairs (available in TH-cam, there's three parts), very interesting part of British History

I have androgentic alopecia and have been growing back my hair with spironolactone and moxidil 5% prescribed by my doctor but I’m curious what other things I can do to make my hair stronger. Moxidil leaves my hair and scalp very dry.
Dr. Dray, my son's eczema flares on his hands in the winter (we use Desonide and Cerave to treat). I'm considering replacing the liquid hand soap in his bathroom with Aveeno baby wash, which has colloidal oatmeal. Could this be helpful?
yeah, hand washing in general (even just water) can exacerbate hand eczema; the aveeno baby wash is a good choice, but moisturizing immediately after washing the hands is critical
I know a kid who went into a bounce house, caught a tooth on the netting that keeps you inside of it, and it ripped that tooth right out! 😬 Luckily he got to a dentist right away and the tooth was put back in and it actually reattached and he ended up fine. Didn’t know until that day to even be worried about THAT possibility.
I wonder if that beet hummus has beans in it? That would be a good alternative for people who have to stay away from beans or chick peas for medical reasons.

I Don’t usually leave comments but I really hope you can help me with some advice..I have been using Epiduo (Adapalene) for about 2 weeks now and my skin is feeling very strange -sticky to the touch and shiny. Is this normal? Should I keep using it or should I stop? I used it every other day in the first week and a half and then every day. I put on a very tiny amount, less than pea size, every evening. I use moisturiser about half an hour before applying the epiduo, then again half an hour after the epiduo. Thanks! :-)

i dont know to be honest...no one ever confirms these things...it is only the people selling seven bottles of different HA that make that type of claim
I started HA in June/July last year. It took a month to see a difference in my skin and I can definitely say that if I stop using it, my skin is much more dry and crackly (around the mouth). I can't say I notice a cumulative effect, it plateaus at a certain point, for me that was a month in, and the effect stayed. It's now a year later and I still love it!
Oh! You shouldn't throw away the bed...You should donate the Elvis Presley bed to your local animal shelter....they can always use toys, beds, old towels, and blankets!!
I think it's very progressive of your mom to go vegan. Has she noticed any health improvements? I gave up dairy on the advice of some eighty year old vegan friends and my joints and muscles feel 100% better.

✨Hi! I was wondering if someone has occasional rosacea can they still use Tretinoin? And if so how often? Should they start off applying a pea sized amount ex. every day or every other day and should it be applied before or after moisturizing the face? Which moisturizer would you recommend for dry skin if using Tretinoin? I love your vlogs they are always informative! 💝
I have rosacea and have been using Tretinoin .05% for about 7 years. I cleanse my face, moisturize with Eucerin calming and wait at least 30 minutes or longer then apply a pea size amount of retin-a. If my face gets angry I just stop for a day but most of the year I can do it. Be gentle with your face. Be vigilant with a mineral sunscreen. I like the La Roche Posay and Color Science but it took some time to find ones that agreed with my skin. I should add that I do have regular IPL treatments year round for my rosacea.

What I use for sunscreen is the La roche-posay SPF 50 tinted mineral sunscreen as a base. I let that dry down and then apply the colorscience all calm SPF 50. The colorscience is quite pricey but a small amount goes a long way to keep redness down. I just make sure I have a good baseof the LRP. Everyone is different and what works for me did take some trial and error. I prefer the tinted mineral sunscreens for my face.

I have androgentic alopecia and have been growing back my hair with spironolactone and moxidil 5% prescribed by my doctor but I’m curious what other things I can do to make my hair stronger. Moxidil leaves my hair and scalp very dry.

Dr. Dray, my son's eczema flares on his hands in the winter (we use Desonide and Cerave to treat). I'm considering replacing the liquid hand soap in his bathroom with Aveeno baby wash, which has colloidal oatmeal. Could this be helpful?
yeah, hand washing in general (even just water) can exacerbate hand eczema; the aveeno baby wash is a good choice, but moisturizing immediately after washing the hands is critical

I know a kid who went into a bounce house, caught a tooth on the netting that keeps you inside of it, and it ripped that tooth right out! 😬 Luckily he got to a dentist right away and the tooth was put back in and it actually reattached and he ended up fine. Didn’t know until that day to even be worried about THAT possibility.

I Don’t usually leave comments but I really hope you can help me with some advice..I have been using Epiduo (Adapalene) for about 2 weeks now and my skin is feeling very strange -sticky to the touch and shiny. Is this normal? Should I keep using it or should I stop? I used it every other day in the first week and a half and then every day. I put on a very tiny amount, less than pea size, every evening. I use moisturiser about half an hour before applying the epiduo, then again half an hour after the epiduo. Thanks! :-)
sticky skin is a side effect of oral retinoids; you have discuss if continuing is right for you w/ your treating health care provider though

Dr Dray, do hyaluronic acid products like Hada Labo Super Plumping Gel have a cumulative effect or no? I like using it and have been so wondering.
i dont know to be honest...no one ever confirms these things...it is only the people selling seven bottles of different HA that make that type of claim
I started HA in June/July last year. It took a month to see a difference in my skin and I can definitely say that if I stop using it, my skin is much more dry and crackly (around the mouth). I can't say I notice a cumulative effect, it plateaus at a certain point, for me that was a month in, and the effect stayed. It's now a year later and I still love it!
