- Certainly a dirty patio in need of a little power washing. This patio had not been cleaned for years, Due to a new owner moving in the fella decided to give me a call and get this travertine patio cleaned up. A mix of hot pressure washing and a few applications of the soft washing stages got this patio looking fabulous and back to it former glory.

Holy shit that was a crazy transformation right there. I honestly didn't think the end result would be nearly as good as it looked

I feel like this is the only way to clean the tile in some people's homes!

First look, "Very grimy but what is it supposed to look like?" First wash, "Well, cleaner but that doesn't look "done" yet." Pre-treat, a change showing. After the softwash....."Oh my goodness." Not only could not guess what it was supposed to look like but how beautiful it would be once done. Very nice work.

I’m addicted to watching these videos it gets my ocd going through the roof though. One question I have is are there any time the neighbour ever question who you’re waving or giving the thumbs up to?? Must think your communicating with birds and squirrels!

What liquid witchcraft was in that soft wash stage. Whatever it was, I need it now.

Not a bad job. Its pretty easy when you have all correct equipment.
What most people don't know is travertine is one of the most pours stones there is.
All those very little holes that go down into the body of the stone. From the surface.
Make it extremely hard to clean.
I believe if he would have vacuumed, after he rinsed.
He could have pulled almost all the dirt out of the pours.
Also I hope that was some kind of sealer he was spraying on at the end of the video.
I'm trying to think of the name of the sealer I use.
I can't think of it.
But this sealer is the best out there.
It's the ONLY sealer out there that has a polymer in it.
That when used properly.
The polymer fills all those real little pours , so NO dirt or anything else can get in them.
And then it seals the surface of the stone.
All other sealers , the sealer just goes down into the pours, and dirt or anything else is still able to go down into the pours.
Also, then when you mop.
You are just pushing the dirt into those pours.
Man I can't remember the name of it. It's at my shop.
I did a test with 5 of the top sealers on the market.
I tested them on granite, marble, slate, travertine, ceramic tiles, grout and cement.
I marked them with coffee, lip stick and some other kind of make up, permanent marker and that white out stuff you use on paper..
And this sealer I am trying to remember was the only one that I was able to get EVERYTHING off of EVERYTHING.
All the other sealers I couldn't get anything off unless I used a very strong cleaner and scrubbed the heck out of it.
But in the end you could still see it..
I'm so sorry I can't remember the name of this sealer.
I'll go to my shop tonight and get it. And get back to you all.
That was a restoration quality clean! Hopefully they will keep your number handy and prevent it from getting that bad again. Brilliant job!

It looks fabulous! I live in Utah, USA, and our climate is DRY! I see these videos and wonder how often patios need to be cleaned like this, in wet climates, to keep them looking at least reasonably nice?
Small world i used to live out there in park city for a while, in our wet climate normally we clean once a year Sharon

Travertine, absolutely the worst of all materials for patios or tiling.
Good job on the cleanup, book that patio in for next autumn because it will forever be an ongoing cleanup.

When I saw this I was like, well that’s going to be a tough job. You are an amazing jet washer! It’s absolutely beautiful!! I hope you have them on a bi-annual cleaning schedule..lol..this way it will stay looking gorgeous all the time!
Travertine is beautiful but in some ways difficult to take care of and to be outside, oh my! Inside a house, through time it ages to a rustic look that is always beautiful.

I was always told not to soft wash Travertine paving, was I told wrong? What ratio was the Hypo for that, it looks amazing
Was around 8 years of grime , hot pressure washing followed by two softwash treatment stages of one to four
