Always good to see how others solve a problem, plus the stuff he builds is awesome. I don't really like sci fi type movies, which is the inspiration for a lot of the stuff he builds, but I watch just to see him recreating stuff from scratch. You will learn things from this guy, he has a pretty eclectic skillset and knowledge base.

This was the best invention ever! I want to make one just to flail it around and hear that sound, its like music!

You can resume the print even after a power outage depending on what printer/slicer you are using.

I had that issue today, shortly after I watched this video. Thankfully my CR-10S resumed without much issue. 13hr of a 1 day 6hr print.

The more experience you get, the faster you are at fixing what you screwed up. You may not have enough time to do something correctly, but you always have enough time to do it again!
The more experience I get, the more I realize what I don't know Jack about. And just about the time I feel that I know everything, I scrap something real expensive, by doing something that should be real easy.

As a machinist I can entirely appreciate your statement about tolerances being aesthetic. Art and engineering are only narrowly separated by intent. Experience, education, skill and intuition are all the same. You need lots of it to be good at something.

Such and incredibly satisfying build, the sounds of the links after the parts washer and after being connected are amazing. It weirdly reminds me of a snake as well.
