I'm 4 years in started with pixie cut texlax (so nothing lol) I have like 52 locs. 2 kids in the past 3 years. Covid twice, a whole bunch of stress so I can relate basically lol. I went through postpartum shedding it's pretty dreadful. My youngest is 1 and a half and I'm still comparing my hair to my pregnancy hair from my 1st. I thought I hit the jackpot and then lost it all once I had her lol. Steam treatments and postnatal vitamins helped.
Nice and healthy! You look great! Also postpartum issues with locs is noooo joke. It's one of the reasons i cut my first set and it may be the reason I cut this set lol but extend yourself grace!
My 1st was 13 months That whole journey was back and fourth with sizes, combing out locs and restarting some..Which I did the whole journey.. so much Errors lol. On my 2nd Set and I'm so happy🎉. You gotta do what makes you happy and satisfied at the end of the day.
I cut my 3 year old locs in April because I had an undercut that had me at the barbershop every Friday to maintain so I didn’t have the freedom that I feel locs are supposed bring. I let my hair grow out a lil bit and am now 1 month into my 3rd loc journey…so I get it! We have to do what feels right for us because our journey is an individual and personal road to travel. I’ve been here with you since the beginning of your journey and I’m excited to see what you decide to do.
Hey!! Okay, thanks for your comment, I absolutely loved seeing ppl with an undercut but they all did say the same thing about maintenance lol I appreciate your support! 🫶🏾
Hello Naomi, Your locs are beautiful and thick!💕💕 Your Locs just need some TLC!🥰 I was having a lot of dryness with my hair and I thought about cutting my locs a few times. Then I found out the reason for my dryness was because the shampoo I was using was too harsh and just stripping my hair. Now I use a deep conditioner when I shampoo or a hot oil treatment but I don't rinse the oils out. Just my preference. I've seen a big difference in my hair. My hair has luster now. I decided not to cut them and just let them be. This October I will be 2 years loc'd. Naomi, whatever you decide to do I hope you are happy with it. May the Lord give you peace and direction on your decision.🙏🏾💕🙏🏾💕
Awww I hate for you to end it but you said you’d consider starting a new set. Mines are thriving but I wish I had your thickness. I absolutely love your crown!!!! Either way I’m here to stay and I support whatever decision you make.
Thank you for sharing and keep going. Dont trip over spilled coffee. Whatever you decide i hope that you love it. I would like to see how the bob cut would look on you but think sisterlocks would look beautiful on you too and yeah no coloring lol
Listen, that coffee took me all the way out! it had already been a day, so that was the icing on top LOL yessss I think if I do decide to cut them, I would at least do a bob first because it couldn't hurt at all lol
Sometimes with maturity, pregnancy, life changes women go thru a lot that affects our hair, nails, teeth, Heck whole body. Whatever choice you make I'm sure it will "end" well.
I love my love being different sizes. They look so natural that way to me. Your hair is beautiful.

@@NaomiOnlae The size(42) and more semi freeforming. Going long with a review is great for me.

Oh wow, so glad you were able to figure out why!! Did you have to repair your hair? Combine/reattach?
I did combine a few of my locs in the beginning. So far no breakage. I hope everything works out!🙏🏾💕
