    I can tell the issue I am having achieving higher speeds is the lack of punch from the batteries. I have since ordered some (hopefully) better batteries.

    Be sure to check out the features channels list on my Home Page. Tre and Mark both have their own TH-cam Channels.
    I am looking to really build out the GoKaioken community. I do video game live streams, videos with RC cars, Vlogs, and all sorts of other stuff. Willing to make it a full time gig and quit my job (who wouldn’t!) if the growth is there. Feel free to check out the rest of my channel. I try to organize most of my videos into Playlists so you can check out what you are most interested in. :)
    The Children's Online Privacy Protection ACT is very important. This channel and the videos within this channel are not made for children. The content is not suitable for children due to the language used in the videos. It contains what many would consider to be "adult language" or "adult humor". Every video uploaded from the date of the enforcement of COPPA compliance will be marked as "not made for kids". This channel has been set as not made for kids. I never upload content that's made for kids.

    Great run Josh, I’m following the series. Which stability unit did you install? I also see the new fans. Are they Castle fans? Did you do anything special to hook the fans into the receiver to switch therm on/off?

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are yeah racing fans and no special switch or anything

    Great passes brother! Nice monster can you have in there...it balances the chassis weight out well...lol. I didn't see but do you have any weight on the front end? And also was that 6s or two lipos stacked for 8s?

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No weight on the front end, I may actually put the front canards back on for downforce. They are currently 2 4S batteries stacked for 8S but I ordered better batteries I’m still waiting for.

      @@GoKaioken Nice.. you probably dont need canards. I've never seen anybody run them but I did hear someone mention a small amount of weight on the front if it ever seems light. Not sure. Mine is still brand new on the shelf but will be running it next year for sure, along with my Felony that I have a GT body to put on.
      I got my Felony with stock body to 119Mph but crashed, and 114 clean pass. I'd like to get it to 125 on the stock body before switching to GT.
      What batteries did you order? The 70C 4s 5000mah China Hobby Line? Or SMC 150c 6400mah?

      @@GoKaioken I'm out of commission until probably late March now because it's winter here in Toronto...faaaak! 😪 I have an Axial Crawler to keep me going all winter and I hate crawling....it's like watching paint dry.😭 I used to offroad in real trucks that I used to build...that was exciting, but RC crawling is boring as hell. 4.5 months to go till spring.

      Where in MD are you. I’m in Frederick md. I would like to do a pass on that road also. I have been looking for a road to run my limitless on.

      KaizerTest RC I am very close to just converting my limitless to drag because I have it sitting for months becuause I can’t find a road.

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@UDRC85 Yeah I hear you. I only have one road long enough for 150mph and the city road I can do 130 max. I don't have a lot of options here in Toronto. I have scoured Google Maps and scouted spots. Most are too busy, not long enough, have sunken manhole covers or are not smooth. It's crazy in such a massive city and surrounding area you would thing there would be some long industrial roads but most are busted up or not long and straight. I think they deliberately don't make them straight to prevent real cars drag racing...lol. Oh well I do the best I can. Most of my cars sit too because of time constraints.

      8S but need different batteries. Also just replaced the goons, maybe, 20-25 passes

      @@GoKaioken Nice. Maybe give foams a try. They seem to be the tire of choice. And those new SMC batteries will definitely help. The SMC batteries I mentioned should be available by mid-December.

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What new ones? I did buy new SMC batteries but I didn’t think I told anyone what they were lol. What foams fo you recommend?

    • @JimmyKay1976
      @JimmyKay1976 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GoKaioken The packs made specifically for speed runs and drags. I sent you the link over Facebook. I haven't run any foams yet. I get mixed reviews on BSR. Sweep Racing seems to make really good one, usually pre-balanced. Just take care to choose the right compund(s). Ambient temps play a huge role in traction with foams

      Thanks a lot! Yeah I’ve been wanting to get the 6400 mah ones you’re talking about but they are too big for the stock body unless you get different battery mounts. For now I’m trying the flight 4000 mah 4S batteries. I know they are for speed drones but these (even though less C rating on their site) are going to be more powerful that the 6000 mah I’m using and should be fine for 1-2 pass speed runs. They also have 8 gauge wire which is a tell tell sign of a good battery.
