In today's vlog we head to Winter Park, Florida to do a day of exploring but we end up seeing the weekend Farmers Market and we spent most of the day exploring the different shops there. We saw plant vendors, food vendors, produce vendors and more! It was a very dog friendly farmers market, we saw so many pups! Jackson even got to pet some dogs, he loved it! We also got some free kid's art and craft activities because this weekend was the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. They'll have another art festival in May as well. We also tried some food at the local french cafe for lunch and then headed home. We also had a haul of the things we purchased at the farmers market. We found some really neat things and we loved meeting and talking the local shop owners. We highly recommend checking out the Winter Park farmers market if you're in the area! Jackson’s outfit...I’m DYING. He’s SO handsome!! Little guys this age are in full sensory onslaught. Sounds, smells, textures, puppies, voices he doesn’t recognize etc. He’s not yet able to prioritize which sound is most important. But that’s okay. His little brain is building pathways and his central nervous system is learning to orient itself. He’s doing right what he should do! He’s a strong healthy beautiful happy little boy! 😍

Re Teaching Jackson to stay with you: give him lots of opportunities to learn to stay with you, lots of gentle redirection. He’ll eventually get there.
My group of daycare kids (18-27mos) are pretty good now, they listen really well on walks. Practice on neighbourhood walks helps too!!

Thank you for supporting Farmers Markets. My mother and I are Artisans, Fireball Pottety and Decor, and sell weekly at local markets. Yes, most end at 1pm unless it's a festival. And we've got it down to a science. We can have it all packed up and driving away in 30 minutes or less. Looking forward to market season starting back here on the SC Coast next month. We're prepping like crazy.

When I taught 2nd grade I’d always get larvae 🐛 and we’d have an entire observation schedule. When they hatched we’d take a walk to our nearby park to set them free. My students always loved it! Me too!

We were on vaca in Hawaii 4 yrs ago. We brought back 3 Plumaria plants. They are so easy to grow, The plants are now at least 5 feet tall and smell spectacular. The lightest color flower we have is pink and the smell is gorgeous. And we live in Arizona we only water it like maybe once a week very lightly. It gets sun most of the day you really don’t have to do anything. Good luck with your plant keep us all updated. Love the vlogs!!!

Raising butterflies is a very fun activity activity for young kids. I had teacher in elementary school who’s, class projects was raising butterflies and tadpoles every year. It was so much fun to learn, about them and watch them develop. They doubled as our class pets so we took turns feeding them.
Your friends will be able to take cuttings of the plants very easily to make new ones! Really excited to see how the caterpillars and plumerias turn out💖

Oh my goodness!!! I had a bunch of caterpillars to raise too! My mom’s friend gave them to me, she has a huge garden that is filled with butterflies. I raised one monarch and a bunch of black swallowtails! One of the swallowtails hatched deformed, its wings were crippled. I raised it for 6 weeks and fed it sugar water and fermented pineapple juice by hand. I had named him Jasper after the stone, he’s buried by one of our palm trees 💔❤️
Have been following you guys for a year, my 19 month old daughter recognizes Jackson immediately. We are from Puerto Rico soon moving to Orlando due to the fact that after the earthquakes schools here will never reopen. Watching all your videos made us take the decision to move to Florida.
