😂 that’s funny. And I agree. It’s like they’ve all been filming their whole lives. I think it’s a testament of how comfortable they are in their own skin. Refreshing.
The reason why I am so proud of you, Becky, is that you are doing an amazing cooking show without a team to prep, stage and film for you…and fielding comments and criticism about every little thing you do (that the TV cooks don’t have to deal with on a day to day basis) …and all with a consistent happy attitude…just being kind, sweet you, which we all love!!! Thank you!!!
I'm in total agreement. I'm nearly 60 and live in a remote English village and this little lady has taught me things I didn't know. That smile of hers could melt ice. I love seeing happy families and her parents and Josh's are just wonderful
As an Oklahoman, who has followed Becky since her first year of youtubing it makes me so happy for her to of visited our home! The addition to the filming lodge directions, but a cow knocked the sign over, Is the most oklahoman thing I've heard in a while! Gave me a good giggle.
My brother in law built the pizza oven in the Merc. He liked it so much he built one at home too! We have some awesome wood fired pizzas out on their farm. Then my sister uses the residual heat to bake fresh bread. So so good. Brother and his company have done a bunch of stone work and brick work for Rea. He really likes working for her and said she is no different than on camera so she’s the real deal!
My niece and brother in-law and family live in Budapest - he is a new information management specialist there - like their go to computer geek I guess you would say - I live in Florida and my sister-in-law that lives here was born and raised in Budapest
As an Oklahoman, thank you for expressing your thoughts and opinions on the variety of landscapes we have. Thank you for showcasing Ree Drummond and Pahuska and what a great town it is and how much the Drummond family has helped their community grow. Hope it wasn't too hot for you and your family while you were visiting. I enjoyed getting to watch you and your sister work and cook together. Wishing you all well.
I am German and used to be an exchange student in Oklahoma...this is where I used to learn how to drive...it feels so nostalgic to me watchin this video.
Becky this was such a joy with you and your sister so much fun. This is on my bucket list. I've watched her show from the beginning, thank you for sharing with us. 💚
My sister and I went there a year and a half ago. We stayed at the Frontier Hotel, it is absolutely beautiful! We visited all of the Pioneer Woman’s shops and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Mercantile. We absolutely loved it. Only thing is Pawhuska is a very lonely town but we loved it. We visited the ranch and the place where she films her cooking show, my sister and I were so impressed, it is beautiful!! Enjoy! My sister and I had so much fun 😋😀😮One other thing, we were able to see the magnificent Mustang’s on their property. We grew up in Friendswood, Texas but now reside in Alvin, Texas. Y’all have a great time❤️😀
I think I prefer your garden and kitchen. You do it all yourself. The TV cooks have so much help and staging. I love wheb you forget things or I laughed when you said ‘ I’d break that’ to the ceramic rolling pin!! That’s what makes it real. A lot of the pioneer woman stuff is over priced . It’s great it’s bringing life to a small town and I know it started small. I’m not knocking the brand but it’s gone beyond normal life now and I prefer real life.
I agree. I understand supporting each other but I watch Acre Homestead to enjoy Becky as she continues on her own growth journey. I am not as interested in this type of content for her channel. I also hope she is strongly considering how much of her private life she is including in her channel. I know right now she is building her channel/business up so including family seems like a good move, but it will come at a price.
I can't tell you how much I love this video. I, too, read Ree Drummond's blog long before she joined the Food Network, and if I had a true bucket list, a visit to her town and buildings would be near the top of the list. At my age, I don't think it will ever happen, so your taking us here with your sister was better than the icing on the cake. THANKS!!!!
Thank you, Becky, for sharing your special time with your sister with all of us. I always enjoy spending time with the members of your family, whether it's Dad, Mom, or Josh or sisters or in-laws. Each one is a delight in his or her own way.
Being a Texan living in Oklahoma for 50 years, I love your take on the Prairie and the mountains. Oklahoma is really beautiful when you consider all the different scenic areas.
Sarah is a natural at the TH-cam content and neeeeeds her own channel!! I’m going to miss her when this series is over! I’ve enjoyed seeing the two of you interacting. Maybe you two could do some collab lives when you get back up North, Becky.
I’m so happy you and your sister got to go to the Meric and the lodge. But I’m so delighted you took all of us with you. This is a place I would have loved to see but I can’t travel anymore do to health reasons. This more than made my day.❤😊
What I loved was you two sisters enjoying the little outing together and how much fun that was! It brought tears to my eyes bc me and my oldest sister would have loved taking this trip together. Unfortunately my sister died about 15 years ago due to being stung by one red wasp. She was highly allergic and her epipen was expired so mostly ineffective. She went into a coma and never recovered. She died later from a terrible blood infection. We used to have lots of fun together like the two of you. Thanks for bringing us along. Y’all did a great job on videoing everything so well!
I LOVE The Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond. My best friend lives in Bartlesville. We visited Pawhuska several times. We had breakfast at the Merch, dinner at the pizza parlor and visited all the shops several times. We went to The Lodge just before Christmas. Everything was decorated so beautifully. It was one of our best of the best trips we'e had together. Glad you and Sarah had such a fun trip! 🌻🦋❤
Ree Drummonds Lodge and Becky in the same video, What more could you ask for! I grew up watching her as well this was so nostalgic to see her place! Becky I absolutely adore you and your family! You have became my favorite TH-camr.
You and your sister are such a joy to watch. I know y'all had a wonderful time on this trip. That kitchen is every woman that cooks dream kitchen, with everything where it belongs, every appliance, and everything has its own place and no clutter. I just loved it! Thank you both for giving us the tour! Have a blessed day! 💕
Regarding Sarah's thoughts on trees on the prarie, there have not been extensive forestation on the great Plains for centuries. The original settlers constructed "sod huts" with minimal lumber.
This was so much fun! I would have lost my mind in The Mercantile--so many pretty, fun things! I appreciate the fact that you took us on vacation with you...that was so sweet of you 😊
😅 I absolutely have always LOVED Ree and Ladd and children. Her cookbooks and show have been favorites of mine also for years! How great you got to go there!
Thank you Becky for taking us along on your trip, it was very interesting. It was lovely to meet your sister Sarah, she’s lovely as is all your family. Safe journey home ❤🇬🇧
Sarah is Susan's mini me. She even sounds like her. I loved the tour of Pioneer Woman's Mercantile and of the Lodge. I never knew she had a professional kitchen like that. I thought she did all the recipe creating and testing herself. Ty for the tour.
The item at 10:00 is for corn... you put the cob in the hole and run your knife along it to shave the kernels off. Hopefully, they land in the bowl haha. Also, if you love long spoons, you should look at korean spoons! I really like the ones with the handles that stay thin throughout the whole handle. There are some that look thicker and widen towards the end, but I find those a little too heavy/unwieldy.
Hey Becky and Sarah I've enjoyed spending the day with you both. Thanks for taking us along with y'all. It's on my bucket list to go too Oklahoma and tour Ree's place. She is my favorite, have several cookbooks,dishes,etc... Enjoy your vacation and family time together. ❤😊
It was so nice that your husbands stayed behind to watch the kids so you two could spend good quality sister time together. I want to make that trip one day as well, so interesting ♥️🙏🏻🇨🇦
That was so cool seeing The Pioneer Woman’s house where she films. I used to love watching her show when I was younger. I’m glad you’re having a great trip! ❤
I have two sisters, I did have three but our youngest sister passed away a few years ago. My other two sisters and me don't even talk to each other 😔. I'm so heartbroken over this because watching both of you I can just imagine how much fun we could have together. Thank you for this wonderful video! Y'all are such beautiful young ladies. God Bless and stay safe.💕🌹
My daughters and I took my mother to Pawhuska to celebrate her 80th birthday in 2021! It was my second time there. We all loved it! Such a fun girls’ trip!! 💕
Thank you ladies for allowing us to share in your journey, of all things Ree Drummond. I am a huge fan, I have followed her from the early years when the children were so young. I have a very small collection of her products, given to me by a beautiful lady from Texas, which i met on a Facebook fan page. Being in Australia, it is very difficult to purchase anything, and if you can the prices are very inflated. Sadly Walmart do not post to Australia either. So i am very happy that you shared your experience with us.
I was so excited for this video! I am like Sarah and started reading Ree's blog years before anyone even knew who she was! I bought her very first cookbook the week it came out. Great video! Thanks for taking us along.
I’ve always wanted to see this in person but you’ve made it possible for me to experience it even though I know I’ll never get there! Thank you so much! You and Sarah made it enjoyable without all the wear and tear on my poor old feet! It was so much fun for me to get to see it in “real life” and not on TV! Thank you again! Going to miss you Sarah! You need to start a channel too….your whole family are so good in front of the camera! Love to y’all from Virginia!!❤
These last few episodes with your sister have been some of my favorites! Watching anything with your family makes me feel like I’m just a member of your family myself.
That was so much fun to go on the tour with you girls! Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. I know I'll never go there, so what a treat to be able to do the tour virtually. Also, I must be living under a rock, because I know NOTHING about the Pioneer Woman. Her style is adorable! I love all her bright colors and whimsy. I know you talk about Ina Garten a lot, Becky, and just like this Pioneer Woman, I have no idea who Ina Garten is, either. I haven't had TV for 35+ years; so, TH-cam is where I watch stuff. I am WAY out of the loop about network TV stuff. I have some Googling to do about this Pioneer Woman and Ina Garten. Thanks again to you and your sweet sister for letting us all hang out with you!
What a delightful trip. I have been once. It was a dream come true. It is pretty far from me, live in the DFW metroplex. I love Broken Bow. Many fond family memories there.
So nice to meet your sister Sarah. She is just as lovely as you Becky. Really enjoyed seeing Pawhuska, Oklahoma and the Mercantile and the lodge where Ree Drummond films Pioneer Woman. I used to watch the TV cooking show all the time. I have a few of her beautiful casserole dishes. They look so pretty on the table when I use them. Thanks Becky and Sarah for taking us along with you.
Thanks for keeping quality content on TH-cam, and specifically for sharing you and your sister's trip to the mercantile and the lodge. Neither were on my radar, and I'm glad they are now and that i got to peep them through your videos.
I have to say I love your sister she is a joy to watch and see how you tow interact. She is certainly good with the camera and I appreciate her sharing her perspective and seeing you two together sharing you combined interests!❤❤❤❤
My Husband and I go there at least a couple times a year, we've met Ree Drummond a few times and I've met her Husband Ladd. Such a down to earth family. I Love eating at her restaurants and visiting their ranch. Can't wait to go back! It's so exciting to see you were there too! Thank you for sharing!
My husband and I have stayed at the boarding house a couple of times. It’s a real treat and they take such special care of you. One year they were offering a cookie class in the bakery. That was super fun too! We live about 5 hours away. Glad you guys enjoyed your trip!
Thank you so much for sharing your vacation with us. I understand when a utuber just wants to get away without a camera and you shared with us. You are so considerate. This video was so enjoyable. Thanks again.
Thank you for taking us along I live in England and really enjoy watching Pioneer woman its one of my favourites so thank you hope you had an enjoyable time take care and God bless Xxx
You and your sister are so fun and sweet together! I have really enjoyed the series of videos you did together. I used to love reading Ree's blogs back in the day. Some were so hilarious I cried from laughing so hard. It's been fun to follow her and her family over all these years.
OMG love your sister seems like you guys had a blast she seems so sweet loved watching her hope to see more of her in the future such a sweet family you have 😊❤
That’s was really neat! Thanks for sharing! I grew up watching the food network channel with my grandmother, still to this day cherish those times would watch and while I was really little 4-6 I would get out her old kitchen bowls and spoons she would let me have for outside and make mud pies and pretend to be them until I started helping her cook in the kitchen :) fried egg was 1st thing I learned how to cook
Hi Becky, greetings from Ireland. Thank You both for this. As a fan of Ree, I know I will never get to see these places in person, it's different seeing it on t.v. than as a normal person's perspective. It felt like we were walking around with you and your lovely sister!
It's statistically absurd how so many members of your family are just so naturally good on camera, lol. Thank you for all your work!
YES!!!
😂😂😂 so correct. I can't even look decent in a photo.
You are so very sweet! Thanks so much :)
😂 that’s funny. And I agree. It’s like they’ve all been filming their whole lives. I think it’s a testament of how comfortable they are in their own skin. Refreshing.
@@AcreHomestead Surely Food Network will eventually have you on!

I was thinking the same thing as she was peeking into the prep kitchen windows!
Becky changed the game!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can watch her do anything!!!!!!!!! No prep kitchen required. Thaks for brightening our days!
Absolutely ❤💯

It really was fun watching them visit. Love our Oklahoma ❤❤
Agreed ☺
I agree!
Your sister has a natural beauty about her. Such a great camera presence.
Sarah is your Mom's twin, so sweet. Have fun!
Yesssss!!! I just left a message saying this 🤩
I was thinking that!!! You can tell she is cut from her mother’s cloth! ❤
I agree, it’s like watching Becky film with her mom. Always love the ones with her mom and now loving seeing her sister.
I thought that as well 😊
Mom's mini-me

She really is so sweet & has a great sense of humor. I’ve had the joy of meeting with her several times, she is so down to earth
Every member of your family have the greatest personalities! They could each have their own utube channels! ❤️🙏🏼
Just remember Pioneer woman is a show. You are the REAL deal. Never forget that!! Don't strive for perfection. Love who you are.

You and your sister are just the sweetest, cutest souls!! I love the warmth you both give off. ❤
I’m jealous! Thank you for taking us along 🥰
Thanks for watching!
