So much fun! My whole family (my parents, sisters, and all of our kids) rented a house in September up near my daughter's college town so we could see her for her birthday (she's a freshman at a college 6 hours away from me, and its been so hard for me having her leave the nest)- We were blown away by the chef's kitchen in this house and just how many cooking utensils and pots, pan, baking dishes, serving platters, cast iron, and dishes there were! There was even a good sized selection of spices, cooking spray, canola oil, etc. That was an airbnb first for me!! Normally it's bare bones. It's definitely a lot more fun cooking and cleaning in a different kitchen, not sure why!
I just found you a few months ago. And I absolutely love watching and learning from you! You are now known to my family and friends as " my friend Becky" when I tell them something I've learned from you 😂❤
A little back story last Oct our house burnt to the ground. Our rebuild is almost done. And the kitchen. Wow I'm so excited to watch you and do all your meal planning and cooking in it.

The best thing about this video imho is you and your sister together. I always wanted a sister. You two are adorable together. I’d love to see an interview with Sarah. 😂 These cookies are great. Several years ago, I adopted a new Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. It uses brown sugar and melted butter. I just use a big wooden spoon to mix them. They are the best I’ve ever made. I made them and from them for my grands! 💙💙 They were so happy.

Fun video Becky! Reminds me of cooking with my sisters when our families vacationed together. ❤️. Our family vacations at the beach and have stayed in rental beach homes that aren't always equipped adequately if you plan on cooking at home. I always pack my chef's knife, my 12" nonstick frypan (for eggs), a hand can opener, extra kitchen dish towels, as well as my favorite spices and olive oil. ❤️

If you use 2 large spoons (desert spoons) to scoop cookies, it works really well.

Almost like watching you and your Mom. The Parm looks delish. If you ever have to use butter instead of oil again think about melting the butter in a small pot first and then spoon off the ghee into your frying pan. It’s the milk solids in the butter that burn. 😊

Sprouts sells Spaghetti Factory mizithra cheese. It’s with the specialty cheeses, already shredded.
I saw the mizithra cheese at Whole Foods several years ago, too.

Vodka sauce is a red sauce that uses vodka to deglaze the pan after sautéing the onions and garlic, the alcohol cooks off and there is zero alcohol flavor. It just lends a rich sweet flavor to the the dish, and yes, cream is added at the end.

When frying with butter, melt it in a separate pan, let it settle and pour the fat off the solids-almost like cooking with ghee which doesn't burn so easily

Mizithra is a Greek cheese! I live the spaghetti factory! To this day the only place I’ve ever seen have it on the menu. I have a Sprouts store (not sure if they are country wide) and they sell it there! So yummy! This was such a treat to see you and your sister dance around the kitchen!!! Love this! Hope OK was fun!!!
I use milk instead of eggs for dredging. My husband doesn’t like the egg and I’ve found the milk works great.
