It is criminal how few views this video has. The thumbnail and title alone are absolute bangers and should have gotten you 10k views minimum at this point. Im sorry the algorithm has so far done you dirty my man, hopefully this picks up.
It's really sad that you get so less views, your channel is great with great production quality. I had a small query, can you suggest me a good microphone (portable) that is cheap but good quality, since I am going to purchase dt770 pro (80 ohm) but it's already over budget but I'm somehow managing but it does not have any microphone which is the main issue. Your suggestion would help me a lot thx.
Hey man. What do you need the microphone for, is it Discord? In that case I would suggest getting a cheap lapel microphone and either using it as intended (clipped to your shirt) or clipping it to the cable of the DT770s. This should be quite usable and the price should be very good (you should be able to find PC lapel microphones for as low as $5 in most places). Hope this helps!
I just got my first high end IEMs and a DAC (Qudelix 5k). This really helped me to understand impedance and why or if I should use the high power mode from the DAC.
This was brilliantly explained, thank you so much for the time and effort it took to make this video. I originally wanted to buy 250 Ohm headphones and an amp for "superior sound quality" but after watching this I'll probably go with the 80 Ohm ones. 11/10 content man, I'm surprised you don't have more views on this.
im looking to buy a pair of dt770's for computer a little mobile use and the most confusing ps5. i know the computer and mobile with an apple dongle will be fine with the 80 ohm version(i've seen 106.58 dB/V and 96.28 dB/mW for sensitivity and not sure which is correct) but i cant find any specs about the ps5 controller output and there's a lot of conflicting opinions about if they will get loud enough. what are your thoughts? @odysseyofcuriosity
Hey man! Unfortunately I don't have a PS5 controller handy, but I do have an Xbox Controller and that thing on max gets my 250 ohms DT770's much louder than I'd want them to be for extended listening/gaming sessions. So if the PS5 controller is anything similar, chances are your 80 ohm DT770 will be good in terms of loudness. As for the conflicting values for sensitivity - notice the different units of measure: V (volts) vs mW (milliwatts). This is what explains the different number, and it is to be expected. Sorry I couldn't give you a clear answer, but I hope this helps at least a bit!
thank you for the reply! i ended up deciding on the 80 ohm version modded by custom cans UK, after a lot more research lol. i figured if i really need it i can get a small amp but im glad to hear i probably wont need to!@@odysseyofcuriosity
