Since making this video, have decided to lower the action for the high E string, to very slightly just above the suggested .040 reading. Also tightened the tuning heads. A couple of intonation tweaks, and this time, I can say that the guitar finally is just nice, and the tuning is more stable.

You can use a flat screwdriver to adjust the string height inserted into the screw above the knurls.
