I think part of getting close to his tone, as crazy as this sounds is just diving the amp gain and turn off everything else. Definitely no compression, and really nothing other than a tasty reverb at the end of the chain. Everything else tone wise I feel like you should be getting "in guitar" Just like the great directors say get as much in camera as possible. Which means make the scene really look like that, and if someone was filming with their phone, it wouldn't look that different from the final product. It's basically the opposite of fix it in post. This means very deliberate and almost mythical control of the guitars volume know, a very well set up guitar, pickups, amp etc and of course ridiculously good feel and tone in the hands. When people say most of the tone is in the hands, few people demonstrate this better then Jeff Beck. I mean you also got Knoffler, Gilmour, Young, and even some newer cats like John Mayor. Of course you got some killer Acoustic players that have some great dynamics in their hands too like Tommy Emmanuel and one his students (I think) Joe Robinson which both have just an insanely good touch.

The holy grail of all tonewoods for all types of guitars acoustics (Back and Sides), classical (Back and Sides), and electrics (Fretboards).

Nice weight and hope you enjoy your purchase. Usually, (with nitro) over time the white bindings should 'yellow' and blonde finish will look even better.

You can use a flat screwdriver to adjust the string height inserted into the screw above the knurls.

My nephew gave me a 2017 Epiphone es 339 (vintage sunburst) out of nowhere, just..here ya go. Even had the epiphone branded 339 hardshell case! I found the versatility of this guitar is just amazing. I'm mainly a metal (LTD EC256) and lofi jazz (the 339) player and being able to play and not have to switch guitars often is great. This might replace my LTD as my main.

My 339 was saved by my daughter for me because when they loaded the trailer they forgot to put it on when I moved to louisiana and I'm glad they did because someone broke into my apartment and stole my guitars! If it had been there they would've taken it! The original is my favorite over the inspired by Gibson! I like the Rosewood fretboard and the original headstock better than the new ones! My LP MUSE has the new headstock and it doesn't stay in tune better than the original headstock does!

They have two models with coil splitting and one without these features like the Gibson version!

I love and enjoy the song Chotto Matte Kudasai. I'm hearing it in so many ways; versions. But is there anyone who actually sings the whole song in Japanese? I would love to learn any easy version of it. I enjoy Ron Yoshida's version. I remember listening to Sam Kapu and Kui Lee (outside an Old night club in Nanakuli) at Elena's Bar.

I didn't know until yesterday they sell 2 versions. One has coil tapping and one doesn't. Same price. They discontinued the Ultra and the p90s version.
