Friends, are you considering buying a property in Mexico, but not sure where to start? My "7 things you should know BEFORE buying a property in Mexico" webinar is THE best place to start: soklanevza.teachable.com/p/7-things-i-wish-i-knew-before-buying-a-property-in-puerto-vallarta-mx
I am looking at longterm rental to see if I like living there before buying....especially with the Cdn dollar so bad right now.. I would probably like to rent Nov to Apr
Hi Elena 😃 Great idea to compare turn key STRs with pre- construction(s). You might also add- in a "blank slate" third option, since vacant properties will also appeal, to many. 🤔😎
One thing that would help is if you could change your maps to satellite view. That way we can see the terrain and it adds quality to your statement “ocean on one side and mountains on the other.”
I find it’s much harder to “ understand the area” with satellite view, but I see your point about the ocean & mountains. I will experiment. Thx for the suggestion l.
Honestly, my wife n I are looking for homes closer to the 1 mil mx area. So more budget homes would be ideal. Just cause we like to travel driving but looking for homes both on east coast and west coast areas.
Hi, unfortunately there are not many opinions to show at this price point. But if you go more inland it’s possible to find land / renovation project. Good luck!
Making sure the bones are good and that you are able to add levels is super important. Also, renovation in Mexico is even more fun than back in Canada or the USA 😂 but it’s definitely worth it!
The other comment regarding the Canadian dollar is bang on. Barf. Would love to know the ROI on properties as renting one out as passive income seems like a great idea.
Hello Elena, I know now where 5 de diciembre srtart and ends. The 1419 colombia property is good price. im just curious, does this property has backyard? thaks much , Elena stay young and pretty.
Thanks Hugo! Glad you enjoyed the map video of the area. The houses in that area usually don’t have a yard. Its usually a small portion in the front for the car or a garden in the centre of the property.

I liked the second to last view, amazing pool with wonderful views.
Thank you Andrew! Its a great property!
Some areas suffer repeatedly from water shortages and electricity outages so do diligent research before buying in this neighborhood
Electricity and water outages are definitely something to consider in all areas of the Bay.

Great idea to rent first! There are many areas that are very different and appeal to different people. Good luck!

Looking for $200-$300k range, light-fixer, unfurnished, with some green space. 5 de diciembre might not be the location for that.

PV is played out. Over touristed and expensive.
