    Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. I have been following your suggestions for a few months now as I have just had breast cancer and am on anastrozol (since mid April) which as you would know can make your cholesterol high. My cholesterol was already on the higher side 6.2 (don't know what that equates to in US as I'm in Australia). Good news is since following you suggestions not only for cholesterol but anti inflammlation and breast cancer my cholesterol is now 4.8 which it hasn't been since pre menapause. Thank you so much. Why don't other Drs follow your recommentations. My Cardiologist wanted me to go on statins which I refused to do. Thank you again.

    One minute in the microwave for one full head of garlic with head sliced open and a few drops of spicy oil if you wish.... Place on plate, with domed bowl over it ....... leave to soften. Energy efficient, and easy to slip out of skins onto plate.

    I am confused by your reference to Firmicutes bacteria. This is a group which includes Lactic Acid Bacteria, e.g. Lactobacillus, which is regarded as beneficial to humans. Would you mind clarifying this a bit?

    I LOVE your videos. So much information -- I have to listen several times to get everything I want. More handouts would be very helpful. Also, when I get really excited about something you've said and want to share it, a handout would be most convenient. You have helped me enormously. Thanks so much.

      CT Angio is WAY better. I think docs don’t recommend b/c you can't do anything with it (not a valid excuse IMO). I inherited the high LP(a) and APO b. working on metabolic health. keep inflammation to it's lowest!!

    My cholesterol was never above 150. My ldl never above 70. My arteries imaged clear. I added a handful of nuts. My lipid numbers did not change. I developed atherosclerosis in 10 years of nuts.

    • @livix3989
      @livix3989 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Cholesterol is not the devil. Blood vessel inflammation is the root cause of plaque development. Lack of vitamins and minerals combined with inflammatory foods is what create the damaged blood vessel that starts the process of atherosclerosis.

    Cream of Broccoli is my favorite soup , maybe the Sulforofanes released make it taste so good , but not Brussels sprouts , too strong of a sulfur taste , and will try less Brussels with Carrots ...
    The Resistant Starch hypothesis is challenged by many health practitioners & dietitians as not definitely proven by scientific research. Before applying in my meals options I wait for more solid evidence of existence of Resistant Starch ...not residents starch ...😂

      @@sherrimcconnell936 In my case, my (a)lipoprotein was 220, but once I started cholesterol medicine, it went up to 340. My heart doctor said that would happen which really upset me. he said there’s nothing I can do about it. It’s genetics, but I don’t understand why starting a statin made it go up more. He couldn’t Explain it to me he just kept saying it’s my genetics. I’ve Never been much of a meat eater. I’ve always tried to do low fat and grilled chicken. Some people on TH-cam say I should do plant base diet. But then I hear other doctor saying not to eat so many carbs. Keep it around 30 to 60 a day which is really hard. I don’t know what to do. It made me wanna eat whatever I want to eat. Did your doctor recommend anything for you to do? Thanks 🙏 😊Christy

    How could this be accurate that your blood pressure 3 to 5 times more force then category 5 hurricane. How are you measuring that by wind or rain. What proof do you have that you can state this. If this was true, your blood vessels would not be able to handle all of the blood. I dont like this illustration cause it is very vague and not a good comparison. How can you compare a hurricane to a blood vessel. I dont like the dis information you are sending to try to sell your advice and scare people. This is not an accurate example for people living with high blood pressure and you trying to deal with practical solutions Not a fabricated story of comparing your blood vessels to a hurricane. I dont appreciate this condfusing statement that you made. Your post is very confusing and not syayed in clear terms. Please try to simplify with understandable language for the common man. What are your qualifications to make such a bold statement. You have upset me and i am going to talk to my cardiologist to check this exageraterd claim. You should be trying to help people not scare them by stating your blood vesse3ls are worese then hurricanes.
    thanks Jim

    What do we do about beans and seeds being anti-nutrients? Do we just not eat beans and seeds when we are taking vitamins? Or eating high iron because I’m anemic? And what about oxalates in things like kale? Should we be eating certain foods at certain times?

    • @Hertz2laugh

      The only thing you can do is to soak them, cook them, ferment them, etc.
      Otherwise the anti-nutrients will f•ck you up.
