Amazing video, thanks for that. What sort of CTA would you put on a plumbing service page? ( apart from everything you explained) You mentioned a "request a quote" isn't good.
Request a quote can work if that's the next step that the visitor wants. If you can incentivise this somehow (or remove barriers) even better. So request a quote within X hours, or Request a free inspection and quote... give it a little extra something :)
I just found you and love your videos but have a quesion about your own site exposureninja.com/review. First, the top right corner of the page has a CTA button "Free Review" that just links back to the same page we're on. This seems unnecessary (it should at least link to the same target as the main CTA). Second, That unnecessary button says "Free Review" but the main CTA button on the page says "Request Your Review Now" but doesn't say "Free." Wouldn't it be better to get rid of the top little button and make the main CTA one say "Request Your FREE Review Now"? Also, the main CTA button font is white over a yellowish\greenish color, which makes the text hard to read. UPDATE: I was only looking at the "review" sub-domain page. Your home page actually DOES have a better colored CTA text and also says "FREE" in it. And it also explains why the top corner button links to the "review" page. I guess it's a static menu so on the review page it would be unclear.
I know this video is old but I wanted to say I appreciate the content. HOWEVER, I was disappointed with the way you were writing on the board. Now just hear me out. For a person who is not an audio learner I was relying on the board. But as a professional and content creator I was sorely put off by the chicken scratch. I already had to watch the video 5 times to catch everything. Please and I mean please do better at writing on the board. Those visuals are important to people with different learning styles.
Great vid! do you think its possible to have 2 calls to action? We are an online ecommerce store with a unique business model. I could see 1 set of prospects wanting to learn more about the business model, and another who are contempt with the claims and statements from the landing page who would rather browse the range of products. I heavily appreciate any help or advice, Thanks!
Thanks for watching the video. What's your biggest problem with increasing conversions on *your* website?
This has been the most helpful CTA explanation video I’ve seen!
It is so interesting to see how you put in action all the strategies you are explaining in your own video! Amazing. thanks for that.
love the way you teach with complete visuals

Glad it helped!
Is there a great CTA app for Shopify 2.0 you would recommend? In order to make different CTAs for different stages/pages
Great video and some great points raised!
Thanks, Stuart 😊
Pause the video at 00:00 that's the exact face I pull when learning something new from Tim!
🙂
You are so awesome. I don't even know your name, but you are so awesome.
Do you have a video of how to do test/experiment on under performance page? The image? The headline? The CTA?
We don't, but we'll add that to our long list of future video ideas 🧠
