Appreciate that you make an effort to make a simple latte heart even when you’re busy. Sometimes, i come across barista that just pour steamed milk to mix with the espresso since takeaway cup is covered and customer can’t see any latte art anyway. It’s the barista’s effort that makes us appreciate you and the coffee even better. Thank you
Hey Laura! I just started working as a barista, and it’s such a high pressure and demand, you have to be efficient, fast, and yet you have to make good coffee, and multitask. I find it hard to put up with those high standards, bc I’m friends with quite a lot of barista that are incredibly amazing at their job, and I constantly get the pressure to be as good as them, and sometimes I feel bad bc I can’t be like them (yet I know I just started haha) I was so hard on my self I watched your videos, and you are not afraid showing your mistakes on the internet where there can be a lot of judgments, it’s so relatable and It made me feel it’s okay to make mistakes, you are progressing. I want to thank you for making these videos, keep making and creating, love your videos!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Kezia. I hope you don't put so much pressure on yourself anymore. Mistakes are inevitable, what's important is how you react to it. Just take it easy, you're doing an amazing job already! :)
@@laurangelia When the music stopped I could tell something bad was about to happen and I was still shocked lol. I hope you didn't feel too bad about it, these things happen. Your latte art was impressive! x
I also really like that you make your coffee with a lot of love. coffee culture in los angeles is boring and no one appreciates the beauty in coffee. everyone is rushed and on their phones all the time. hopefully one day after covid i can come to melbrouen and get a coffee from yoUu!!! :)
Thank you so much for your kind words :) You should definitely come to Melbourne next time and enjoy our coffee culture :) In the mean time, please stay safe :)
I’ve been struggling when working with the small size of takeaway cups and it helped seeing your technique thank you! And congratulations on the sponsor!
I was paying attention intensely to subtitles and the going ons on screen, my heart kinda jumped at 10:30 😅 alright, now I forgive myself for messing up many time😅❤️
Nice to see a batch brew going out 🙌🏼 Great designs, especially when you are pouring faster and super close to the surface getting some deep contrast and awesome layers. This one might inspire me to make a latte art video this weekend when I’m on bar 🤔😊🙏🏼
Really enjoying this point of view! ❤️ You probably should make more of this. But also the one when you put the camera in the back so we could see the whole cafe situation and watching you handling the tickets hahah ☕️ now I want to learn to be a barista after watching this 😅😁
Thank you so much, I really appreciate you! This is actually the first sponsorship that I took because I believe this is aligned with my value would benefit my viewers :) Hope you find any course that you like (if you decided to try) :)
06:07 it's so cute. I'll try to make it this heart. I don't think I can manage. Also, this vlog is sooo relaxing. I'm drinking a cup of coffee and watching this. Feel like in heaven.
Congrats on the sponsor. I have seen skillshare as sponsors for a few vlogger now, and well, I guess I should dig in and see what's on there. P/s: I have never been able to do it with oatmilk. The foam is either too thin, or flows straight to the top and hard to control for me haha
You definitely should! I've been learning a lot from SkillShare. Sometimes it's good to be in a platform where everything is laid out for you to just absorb! I usually would do a long research on the web to be able to learn about something, but in SkillShare it's just already there for me to study, so definitely save up my time! Also, I paid hundred bucks for one course before, and in SkillShare, I only have to pay $10 for the whole month which I could learn so many courses! I do really hope anyone could get the benefits out of this as I did! PS : You're doing amazing already! :)
Thank you Catherine! We're definitely better now (below 5 cases a day), hopefully the lockdown will end soon! Sending love from Melbourne to Los Angeles too, stay safe!
Thank you so much! I try to only accept sponsors if its aligned with my core values and also if it would benefit my viewers! :) Hope that's okay and you enjoyed the content still :)

This video made me realise that latte art CAN be done in cups that are tall and don't have the typical wide-mouthed latte-cup-style. Guess I have no excuse anymore. Back to practicing. P.S. Loved the babycino :)

Ah okay, just wondering. Where I work, it’s 1 shot in the small (8oz), 2 shots in the medium (12oz) and 3 shots on the large (16oz). Then all one shot extra if it’s a long mac
@@micah9261 it’s all depending on the beans profile and how they roast it, in our case, single shot for 8oz felt slightly too weak for our liking so we opted for double ristretto which is perfect.. But for dine in 6oz cups, we use single shot, and double ristretto for strong :)
yeah, that's true. A huge coffee lover like myself finds 1 shot of espresso a bit weak, but it's different for others. And yeah, same for us too with one shot in dine in cups and two shots in the dine in mugs.
