What happens if you step on footbrake with the cable

everything works like normal, you just have an additional way of activating the rear brake

@@TheKtm300rider I making it now with stunt lever + easy pull to see if it pulls normal. For now a bit stuck becouse the cable I have and the cable protector are for bicycle 5mm and the other things are for motorcycles 9mm. Sooo yea. But I heard its hard to pull. That's why I want to make leverage from anything. Gonna talk about it here when I get some results. The thing from ox - cable down is not bolted as yours so when you press the brake it's just go up trough the cable the hole goes up.
Your is bolted and when you press the brake isn't this make the cable go up and lose ?

@@TheKtm300rider do you think it's good for wheelies and how harder is to pull vs normal front brake/ Clutch

@@StiliyanStoichev i have a small sleeve that the bolt is actually clamping on and the lever on the back can rotate around the sleeve. everything I made this out of came from a BMX bicycle.

Made it but I figeriyt it's hard to pull.
If I put levrage with longer bracket down or up with6easy pull it needs more travel to the lever. But on the hardest set it can nearly lock the back wheel on kinda slippery road gives 8/10 braking but yea... It's hard to pull. If I put it with larger bracket down there it gives me easier pull can pull with 1 finger but touching the grip eqaula not 8 of 10 braking but 5 of 10 braking...
      Sooo yea.
Am I wrong or making levrage down or up doesn't matter when you don't have more travel to the handbrake

does it work for wheelies? is it heavy to pull in the break?

I imagine it would work for wheelies, you can lock the rear brake relatively easy with this thing. I put it on for really steep hill drops and it almost works too well for that. I would describe the lever feel as a poorly bled hydro brake.

@@gregjetnikoff7124 it works well for steep drops because you have to try to lock the rear wheel with it but it is also very doable. Using the foot brake it is hard to keep from locking the rear wheel.

@@TheKtm300rider The point I was making is that the feeling you describe is the same as in the days when we went from cantilever to V barkes on MTB's. If you used your cantilever brake levers on V brakes they would give your the feeling ( mushy but hard to control lock up) and if you went the other way with V brake levers on cantis they would feel like wood!. The probelm is humans have an area in which they have incredible control but either side of that we lose that control. So too much leverage or too little , outside the "Goldilocks" zone is not optimal. Experimenting with the lever ratio ( at the slave end will be the easiest on your setup) will give you much better control feel. That is exactly the reason I am looking to get a left/rear hand brake setup working.
BTW on my new CRF300 rally the clutch is so light I am considering going to a stubby lever under bar clutch and the brake in the original clutch position.

@@gregjetnikoff7124 I get good brake control with this setup, but the feel is not amazing, mainly due to the fact that it is a cable that is adapted to pull a hydraulic foot lever. In reference to your clutch lever I would suggest leaving it how it is and learning to ride with 1 finger on the clutch. That is how trials riders ride because it gives the best clutch control, and and trials bike clutches are incredibly light to allow for all day 1 finger usage.
