    Yum. I WORSHIP my Ninja Creami because I can make high protein ice cream that is way more delicious than any store bought keto ice cream and so much cheaper! It's hard to really fail, and if you don't like the result, just let it melt, add more ingredients, refreeze and try again! Fairlife Protein drinks are a great base--I use the salted caramel for non-chocolate flavors because it's at Costco (sometimes!) Love your Nutrition Facts label!

    • @scottvasnik
      @scottvasnik  ปีที่แล้ว

      So true! I think the Creami makes ice cream that is miles better than things like Halo Top. I haven’t tried salted caramel yet, but I bet that’s delicious! A vanilla Fairlife is also really tasty. Thinking of making a Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream video with that one day. Thank you for watching and commenting. Happy experimenting!

    • @scottvasnik

      @@DylanCloud absolutely, you could definitely make a higher calorie Creami recipe! Try using whole milk instead of the Fairlife shake. Should be 2 things added to this video that could save someone a broken machine.
    #1 you must shave down that pointy part of the ice cream before mixing, not doing this can ruin both the machine and the pint.
    #2. You must let the lint sit out for 10-15 minutes before mixing, never mix straight from freezer. This can also ruin the machine as some have already experienced.

    • @scottvasnik
      @scottvasnik  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment. I have never shaved down the point in almost a year of having this and have had not issues. That being said I could see how that could help. What tool do you use to do that?
      Since filming this I have started running my pint under warm water for about 40 seconds and that seems to help.

      OK, I tried it. It's good, but not great. I'd grade it B. Since you seem reluctant to provide precise measurements (teaspoons, tablespoons, ounces) I had to guess. I'm pretty sure I can come up with a better recipe myself.

    • @scottvasnik

      @@alexotis yeah, I would say being exact is the way to get the recipe just right. I didn’t provide the measurements in tablespoons because I don’t know them. I always you a food scale.

    I received a Creami a couple of weeks ago. I broke it within a week! Is my freezer set too low? Maybe. When the blade hits the raised center of the frozen container it can get off center, the blade no longer works. I have heard that you need to leave the frozen pint out for 30ish minutes. Then flatten the top. Process. Tried it for the first time and it seems to be much less resistance for the blade. So either my freezer is too low or I need to be sure the top is flat when I process. Thanks for the video.

    • @scottvasnik
      @scottvasnik  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment! Sorry to hear yours broke. Something that I have been trying lately is rising the outside of the pint with hot water for about 40 seconds. That seems to be easier on that machine. Best of luck with future recipes!

    That Fairlife chocolate milk has added sugar, not suitable for keto or if people are trying to limit carbs. A very low carb protein powder of any kind would probably work as well. The amount of fat you add will change the processing and luxuriousness of the outcome.
