Tip: I've been getting the best results by putting the frozen pint in a bowl of hot tap water for between 1 and 2 minutes, and then process on Gelato, which whips in less air, so the resulting mixture is denser and creamier (although it may appear 'dry' after mixing, but just test it with a spoon and it should smooth right out).
Pro tip... Freeze your pints uncovered first, it prevents the little bump from forming which can damage the blade... Additionally if you don't want to use the jello powder cause of the artificial ingredients, replace with extracts and xantham gum. I also find mixing ina blender before pouring in pint makes for the best mix. I've never had to do a respin due to the consistency
You can still get the bump because the mixes that have extra water content, the outside freezes first, and because water expands, it has nowhere to go but up when the middle freezes. So you can freeze it for a short while, stir it up and pop it back in the freezer… that should help
The ninja creami isn't cheap, but ice cream is so darn expensive too...especially the healthier ones. I'd rather have this so I can choose the ingredients and mix ins. Btw, you did a great job with your kitchen!!
I had been buying Halo Top and calculated how many pints I'd need to buy to break even. Bought a Ninja (actually told my adult kids and they bought it for my for Mother's day last week)! Great video.
It has paid for itself by not buying the “ low calorie “ ice cream HALF pint 130 calorie container I was paying $6-9 a piece. These can be made so much better with no preservatives 👍🏼
I made a sugar free baked egg custard, blended it and froze it in a creami jar then put it through the creami. It was amazing! I haven't seen anyone suggest it yet, though. Very high protein and low carb.
@anewbie6379 there are a lot of baked egg custard recipes on youtube, but I suggest replacing 1/4 of the milk with cream, replacing the sugar with your preferred sweetener, and covering it with alfoil while you bake it. Then blend with an immersion blender and fill the canister to the Max line. You may have to half the recipe, but I just fill several canisters or refrigerate to use the next day after I've eaten the first pint!
I don't have a creami yet, but that's what I do to make smoothies in my magic bullet. I use the custard to make a base adding Greek homemade yogurt, protein and collagen powders. I freeze that in small quantities. I make instant pot egg pudding, super fast and easy!
Hey this was helpful and fun to watch! Love that you are using the protein drinks & yogurt which is what i want to do! My CREAMI is on the way as it was back in stock this morning! Been waiting all summer. Thanks for all your tips.
Thanks for sharing! Could you share the measurements for each ingredient with the key lime creami? How much of the cheescake pudding do you use? How much of the vanilla shake? and do you use the entire packet of the Tru Lime? Thanks again!!
I’ve been experimenting with adding a Tablespoon of chia seeds to give it the gel feel. Much healthier. I always run my concoctions through a food processor or blender first. I wish the creami did all the steps, including freezing.
I just ordered my Ninja Creami Deluxe. I can hardly wait till it gets here!!! I already have two extra pints so I can have them ready to try when it arrives.
Thanks for the video! And thanks for not muting the sound. I’ve been seeing a lot of complaints and mixed reviews on the noise and have been hesitant to get it.
Thank you for posting the video and totally saw my comment on the screen! I’m so lame I got way too excited lol you are the best! I’ll be buying one and for sure doing exactly all of those flavors. I can’t wait for you to make some awesome fall flavors!!!
Great question! The add in helps disburse the toppings so they are evenly distributed from top to bottom! Re spin is just that. It lets the blender take it through one more spin to smooth and “creamy” out the consistency even more!
Its no wonder you are getting creamier, less watery/icey results, the OWYN shakes contain guar & gellan gums & sunflower lecithin which will help with adding body, reducing ice crystal size & emulsify the fats & flavours into the mixture. These are all standard additives to commercial ice creams btw. If you dont have the knowledge & access to these additives this is a no brainer alternative.
what would you do if you don;t do dried jello? I don't eat gelatin. I'd love for you to try out making vegan ones. This has been added to my list of new kitchen appliances and as well as the smoothie maker
A vanilla protein shake with fresh mango is soooooo good. It’s my new favorite! I would have a pint daily of protein shakes weren’t so pricey and fairlife vanilla wasn’t so hard to find. I also soak cereal in the shakes and blend up to have a cereal flavor!
I have been addicted to my creami since I got one! OWYN shakes are the only things I use as a base and they're amazing! I find that adding only 1-2 TBS of coconut cream to the base makes it SO creamy! So happy to see someone else using owyn shakes because I'm sick of seeing everyone use fairlife!
I've been looking for a protein shake without sucralose I just came across this kind. Thanks for the comment. I just used the shake and it was good but the consistency can be better. I'm going to get that cream.
If you like the flavor of the cake batter shake, you will love the ice cream. I didn’t like this particular flavor, so it didn’t work for us. PS - good luck on manifesting a Creami. You.will.love.it!!
I think these are the ice creams flavors: 1. Peanut butter Chocolate 2. Strawberry Pineapple 3. Cookies and Cream 4. Chocolate chip caramel pretzel 5. Cake batter 6. Key lime Pie No particular order.
So I actually am having issues with refreezing and storage 1- I found for best storage only to do first freeze for 12 hours then storage.. after mixing I found that if I split them up into containers if they are air tight with no room they r perfect if the container is too big with too much room or any room they store okay… thanks for doing an honest healthy video. I don’t want 100% healthy ice cream I want someone to do ninja creami recipes with some bad stuff with maybe just making the dairy better or something. Everyone is all about the healthy ninja creami.
I got my creami on order. key lime pie will definitely be on the menu! Skim milk powder is cheaper and better than whey protein. Jello uses cornstarch and xanthan gum as stabilizers - they make ice cream less icy. Corn syrup will also make sorbets and almond milk less icy.
I may be guilty of smoking maryjane every once in a while, but not today! You did a flavor test of strawberry Pineapple, and never saw you make it. Watched it twice, you silly bird!
What greens are you using? You breezed over it so fast that I truly have no idea. I don’t eat vegetables and would like to find one that actually tastes GOOD. Please let me know.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son so that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life” God loves you no matter what, never forget that!😊😊%…
@@kayla.nelson sure, but then that is negated when one adds in sugar based toppings. Sugar turns to fat and induces an inflammatory response in the body. You are lying to yourself by saying it is healthy just because you aren't using milk. How much sugar is in the yogurt for instance? They still look delicious but, I don't consider the ice cream creations in the video to be healthy.
The body needs sugar, and brain cells literally thrive on sugar. If you don't get a moderated amount of sugars, fats, and proteins, then that is the most unhealthy lifestyle comparatively. There are healthier sugars sure, like that in fruits as opposed to candy but in any case, moderation is key. Source: I'm a doctor. Thanks for reading 😊
News flash Kayla!!!! Sugar free jello pudding isn't healthy. Maybe you should take the word healthy out of the description. So sick of false advertising 🙄
Can you define “healthy”? Can you explain in perfect detail what “healthy” actually means? Do you think it’s a blanket term for every human ever? Or do you think it’s subjective for every person and their different life? Different socioeconomic status? Different genetics? Different body types? Different medical conditions? In ALL of my “healthy” food videos I clearly state that the term “healthy food” or “healthy” is subjective- because it is! Sugar free jello pudding mix is a fairly “healthy” alternative than using straight granulated white sugar. Sugar free jello may be a “healthy” option for a someone with diabetes because their body cannot regulate insulin levels. The goal of this video was to create “healthy” alternatives to pints of ice cream you find in stores store with a high caloric, fat, and sugar value- and I did just that. It’s not “false advertising” it’s a friendly TH-cam video; hope that helps!

How much xantham gum? And the extracts is just to add extra flavor correct?
i freeze them without the lid and still get the bump 🤷♀️
You can still get the bump because the mixes that have extra water content, the outside freezes first, and because water expands, it has nowhere to go but up when the middle freezes. So you can freeze it for a short while, stir it up and pop it back in the freezer… that should help
thankS so much for the healthier options. I bought a “ cookbook” but your recipes were easier and looked delicious! I love my new Ninja Creami TOO❤️
The ninja creami isn't cheap, but ice cream is so darn expensive too...especially the healthier ones. I'd rather have this so I can choose the ingredients and mix ins. Btw, you did a great job with your kitchen!!
200 bucks to make healthy ice cream is a price I'd pay anyday
@majinraptor agreed. Healthier ice cream costs more, but using the Creami over time I think will offset that price.
I had been buying Halo Top and calculated how many pints I'd need to buy to break even. Bought a Ninja (actually told my adult kids and they bought it for my for Mother's day last week)! Great video.

im in the uk and mine came yesterday, I love it made milky bar ones, salted caramel and got strawberry milk and a baileys one in the freezer xxxx
Yessss, you delivered!! 👏👏 As an ice cream lover, I seriously need one of these bad boys! Thank you for sharing your awesome recipes, Kayla! 🤗🤗🤗
I’ve wanted to buy one since the beginning of summer and TODAY they were finally back in stock! I cannot wait to try your recipes!!
I made a sugar free baked egg custard, blended it and froze it in a creami jar then put it through the creami. It was amazing! I haven't seen anyone suggest it yet, though. Very high protein and low carb.
Share the recipe :)

Ha excited?

This is one of the best in depth Creami Protein icecream videos on TH-cam. Subbed
Ive been on a MISSION for a key lime shake/ smoothie for about a year. Stumbled across your channel. Definite sub!!!!❤
Thanks for sharing! Could you share the measurements for each ingredient with the key lime creami? How much of the cheescake pudding do you use? How much of the vanilla shake? and do you use the entire packet of the Tru Lime? Thanks again!!

Yes! That’s what I did. My motto is always hit the ground running!!
These look great, I'm tempted to get a Creami but I rarely crave ice cream.
Thanks for the video! And thanks for not muting the sound. I’ve been seeing a lot of complaints and mixed reviews on the noise and have been hesitant to get it.

Great video. My kids are getting me one of these for Christmas. What are the result difference when choosing add in or re-spin? Thanks
Great question! The add in helps disburse the toppings so they are evenly distributed from top to bottom! Re spin is just that. It lets the blender take it through one more spin to smooth and “creamy” out the consistency even more!

The pretzels and caramel 🤤 That sounds like perfection!
Fun video! I make my Creami ice cream using Keto Chow shake mix. So so good😊
How I have lemon meringue
Just got my machine today..can’t wait to start using it
could you by chance provide the nutritional info for these? like sugar protein fat etc for a whole serving like if you ate the whole cup in a serving?
I’m waiting my creami to b delivered! Love ur recipes!
Ordered the 11-1 … can’t wait for it to come in
!
So excited for this video!
what would you do if you don;t do dried jello? I don't eat gelatin. I'd love for you to try out making vegan ones. This has been added to my list of new kitchen appliances and as well as the smoothie maker
There are vegan gelatins
Can you use Xanthan gum? 1/2 tsp. Xanthan gum works to keep the ice cream from getting icy and it makes it super creamy.

I was just thinking this about the coconut cream. I broke one once so now scared lol. Needs to be creamy 😅
You’re hilarious. Totally out of control. 😂😂😂❤🍨
I add golden oreo thins to my cake batter one!
What was the Strawberry Pineapple one you did? You never showed making it or even mentioned it.
I bought a ninja (It wS not Creamy) whaty best setting and any other sugestions please.❤
I don’t see the recipes anywhere???
3 to 4 cans Evaporated Milk
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 tlbs Vanilla
Add anything else you want.
Although I will probably never buy it, I loved this entire video! And now I have to go get ice cream :)
Ice cream 🍨 party at Kayla house.
It’s around 9:20 am in LA and now I’m craving a key lime ice cream
Do you have the recipes?
When you have added let say cookies or nuts and you put it back in the freezer and have to re mix the next time, I guess it becomes smooth again?
Im trying to find an alterntive for the jello mix, as it has alot of nasty ingredients init. any suggestions.
Any powder should work to thicken it up a bit! Like a protein powder, cocoa powder, collagen powder
I’m determined not to get influenced to buy one of these but you are not making it easy!
YUMMY!
Try the Premier Protein cake batter shake flavor and get back to us❤🧁In the meantime, I’m trying to manifest a Ninja Cremi for my birthday🥰🤞
If you like the flavor of the cake batter shake, you will love the ice cream. I didn’t like this particular flavor, so it didn’t work for us. PS - good luck on manifesting a Creami. You.will.love.it!!
Ahhhhhhh yay💗
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you!
ON shake? Can’t find it
I think these are the ice creams flavors:
1. Peanut butter Chocolate
2. Strawberry Pineapple
3. Cookies and Cream
4. Chocolate chip caramel pretzel
5. Cake batter
6. Key lime Pie
No particular order.
This is the best for women who are pregnant and who are always craving sweets.
Trying to figure out how this is h"ealthy" with all the sugar /candy add ins.
Still healthier than a pint of Ben and Jerry’s
There are many healthier options for those candies with little sugar at all. grab those.

Are your punts ninja or are they an offbrand?

smores, anything with lemon or Carmel
I’m here for jumping rope challenge 😊
the trick is to mix regular milk and oat milk together
Now I want a creami too lol

I didn’t use any greens or veggies for these creami dessert recipes!
When and what are you putting the greens in? Do you like the taste of the one you use?
I tried making it carnivore. It wasn't good so disappointed
😂😂😂😂
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son so that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life” God loves you no matter what, never forget that!😊😊%…
LOL... I don't see how any of those creations are healthy.
Non dairy plant based protein shakes as the base are healthier in terms of less sugar and calories than regular ice cream

Waiting waiting waiting smh to much talking
