Hi Toni, glad you found it useful. You ask a good question which I don't fully know the answer too. You can add multiple email addresses in a filter by adding an email address and then follow it with a comma and a space (like this - John.Smith@gmail.com, Bob.Smith@gmail.com etc) but I'm not sure if there is a limit on how many you can add. Just trying it now, it looks like you can add a reasonable number but it is likely to have a top limit. Worst case, you could create the same filter a number of times so that each rule moves a smaller sub-set of emails to a folder? Let me know how you get on 👍
So if I have 500 emails and want to delete them all, will this work if I filter the emails and delete them or will I have to create a folder and move them to the folder and then delete the folder. Most of the time I can only delete 50 emails at a time
Hi Robin - if you can filter into the group of 500 then you should be able to delete all the emails with one click. Check out this guide th-cam.com/video/ymmfFE4L5vk/w-d-xo.html which explains how to do it for all emails but the principle would be the same for 500 emails once you have filtered them. In regard to folders, Gmail doesn't understand the concept of folders (it uses labels instead) so even if you delete a label which emails have been added to, the emails in that label will not be deleted.
