I bought the Wilson Combat for the extra girth. On a whim I ordered the tungsten weights. It changes the whole personality of the gun. It shoots like a 26. It may even be less perceived recoil for me than the 26. It is 1 ounce lighter than the 26 with the weights and it does that with a much lighter slide. It weighs 20.5 ounces with an empty Magguts 10 to 12 round kit. The grip with the weights improve the handling and recoil immensely and the 365 wasn’t bad to begin with. The 43 is not fun to shoot. I could go broke way before tired running the 365.

I added the WC XL grip module (with tungsten weight set) for my P365 and I can shoot tighter groups faster and more accurately, than with the factory grip module. I also purchased Tactical Development magazine base pads, which are longer front to back and fit the WC grip module perfectly.

I replaced the stock grip on my standard P365 with the Wilson Combat P365XL module. I agree fully on the aesthetics and the grip texture of the Wilson - both major improvements over the stock SIG grip. But what you list as a "con" of the Wilson - the wider grip - is actually a "pro" for me. I have fairly big hands, and I was going to sell my P365 due to the small grip until I realized that I could install the larger XL grip module on a standard 365. (Yes, you have to buy new XL magazines.). It's made it a completely different, and infinitely more comfortable, gun.
I also recently bought the WC P320 X-Carry, which of course already has the WC grip module on it, in addition to all of the tweaks and improvements Wilson made to the base 320. What a phenomenal gun! Still not as good as my Wilson Combat EDC X9S, but much better than the stock P320.

Im going from a baby Glock26 to a p365 because the p365s slimmer profile for concealment. Im in search for a better grip but dont want to convert it to a glock which is onky 1/16 thicker than the wilson combat grip. Thanks. This is the exact video i needed to watch!

If it weren't for the thickness of the WC grip, why would any one buy it? Only for looks? I think the whole purpose of the WC grip is for the thickness. IMO, the stock grip on the P365 is to small in diameter and doesn't fill out your hands as bigger grips do. Others have complained about the stock grip not providing that gap between your fingers and your palm for your support hand.

Great Video! I just bought the P365 in .380 and I'm really trying hard to stick with my 500-1000rds. break-in with the stock grip module, but man it sure is hard to resist just going for it, the WC Mod turns the 365 into an absolute stunner! 🤩
Who knows, if these P365 Modules sell big and customer requests start flooding WC's inbox, maybe they'll start offering floor plates for 365 mag's that match the starburst/texture design on their grip mod's. Bill Wilson has credited customer demand for a number of WC's product offerings, so it is possible if enough people start requesting matching floor plates..
It's something to think about.. 🤔😉😂

Clicked on the video because I was thinking of putting a gold flat-faced trigger on my original 365, so wanted to see what yours looked like. That said, I do agree with your assessment of the grip module for the most part. The wider grip is kind of a both sides of a coin deal as it feels better and offers better control but also slightly reduces concealability. I carry with a 10-round magazine for optimal concealment though, so in the end the wider girth is pretty negligible in comparison to the printing increase of the 12-round. I often carry a 12-round as a spare and that works well. For those who do carry with the extended mag, it would be cool if Wilson came out with a matching sleeve for the 12-round magazines to replace the stock one. I'd buy it even though I don't carry a 12-round mag in the gun. I did try to carry for a couple of weeks with the tungsten weights in the Wilson module, but the extra weight is noticeable, even if it is marginal. Those weights do increase the shootability of the gun, and I'm sure most would say it's bad practice to train with a variable different from a self-defense scenario.

The extra girth of the WC grip modules is a pro. IMO it's what drives the sale. As to esthetics, there are base pads for the 365XL 12 and 15 round mags that match the WC pattern and grip contour. I've purchased some from XL Tactical and IMO they compliment the appearance and intent of the Wilson Combat grip modules.

If you bought the model for the P365XL, you could fit your 12rnd mag in there with no issue. Just take off the added plastic at the base of the mag and swap base plate . Would fit perfect. I only use a small grip module for pocket carry at church. I thus prefer the thinner profile of the stock grip. The other 6 days of the week I use a stock XL grip with a rubber Hogue grip sleeve. I suppose a WC grip would feel pretty similar in the hand as far as thickness is concerned.

The mag will work with a flat base plate conversion ($5 each mag).

Not many pros of these - the hype def did not equate to reality for me. Front and rear strap stippling is WAY too aggressive, shape of grip is better on stock Sig grip, thumb rest has a sharp transition - Wilson should have made that area smooth like the stock grip.
All in all - waste of 60 bucks plus the issues many encounter with the fcu falling apart when they try and install this.

I’m sure the person you shoot when you are in fear for your life will absolutely care that your mag texture doesn’t match your Wilson grip module.🙄🤢👎

      Pointless and stupid comment

Agreed, but even still, when *you’re* the one handling and dealing with and looking at the gun 99.9% of the time, you want your shit to look nice. It’s like wearing good/nice looking socks when wearing long pants, like 99.9% of the time you’re the only one who sees or knows or cares and sometimes you just want to have nice looking shit.

funny… I merely said the word ‘aesthetics’ but you are the one who apparently derives a ‘ho’mosexual’ context from that terminology so maybe you should figure your own disposition out there bud

ALWAY CLEAR YOUR GUN BEFORE HANDLING IT FOR THIS PURPOSES. You are handling a gun with live rounds on the mag. thats a BIG NO.

Seems to me with the Wilson grip you get less palm pinching from the short grip and mag.

Pretty sure you can find aftermarket magazine grip pieces that are Wilson Combat brand and will perfectly match the Wilson Combat grip module. Well, minus the exact one I want for my P320 WC grip module. Its been sold out foreeeeever 🥲🥲🥲🥲
