The Wilson grip module is great! I have one on my P365 Spectre and it made all the difference in the world. The Spectre grip is definitely nicer than the standard grip, but for large hands the Wilson grip is the way to go!
Thanks for showing how it's done!👍
You are very Welcome, thank you for the module. Today’s video shows how to install the mag release button since I had so many comments asking how to do it.
Great module, highly recommend putting a Empire Katana magwell on it.
Makes it so much better, great video too!
Great setup. Once I went aluminum Icarus grips I don’t find myself swapping back to WC but that does look good!
Icarus has a good reputation but for me the added cost doesn’t justify. Wilson combat grip is one of the best priced upgrades you can get for the p365
50 bucks vs 200 something seems a little steep but hey if ur piecing it together which i wish i did i totally get it. But yes those do look sexy.. ps optics planet has sog and wilson grips in multiple colors for under 50.. they are 150 on sigs site
I ran with that setup for a while until I graduated to Icarus Precision grip module. Expensive but worth every penny and man does it look tacticool.
@@gearrunner they get hot so be aware of that but man your 365 will run way flatter with the added weight.
I tried an Icarus on an X-Macro. I hated the feel and I think they look goofy, too (the trigger guard nubs do nothing for me.) I’m sticking with WC.
@@garytucholl7699 it’s all about having the thrill of making those decisions that’s awesome. What’s awesome for me may not be for the guy/gal next to me. It made it shoot way flatter for me. My wife hated the texture and the weight. She also hated the WC as well. She liked the stock version better. Go figure lol.
Try the Magutts for the 12 round XL magazine. Makes it a 14 +1
I've been running the MagGuts 12 +2 for 1 year I've got 3,500 rounds thru it works like a charm.
What kind of light do you have? I had to purchase a Picatinny rail adapter to put anything on my xl. Also, what tool do you suggest using to set alignment on the romeo zero red dot?
Wished you had shown mag spring release. The spring n my 1 month old x macro broke and I has to send pistol back to Sig. rep said they had a metallurgic issue with the spring.
I actually just got a P320 module in and I show how to install the mag release in a video next week
Question will the TLR 7A for that Wilson combat?
Does your light work itself loose like mine?
👍👍👍😊
have you seen or messed around with any of the Shalotek slides or barrels?
Does the new 365xl come with optics cuts AND iron sights, or do I need a custom slide to have both?
I’m not 100% sure. I bought the Zev slide and really haven’t paid to much attention to the new ones, but I do think you can at least buy certain models like the Spectre Comp that can retain the rear sight.
My p365xl came factory with flat trigger, romeo zero elite reddot and x3 silencers height night sights also. So yes if you get the good one
My factory one has almost no play unless you really pull on it
Does this module make the grip part fatter? I run a hogue grip on my standard frame cause it fits my grip an feels better to me with larger hands.
@@gearrunner I seen the measurements on another video I just wondered if it was actually noticeable.
What was the advantage to having a threaded barrel? Thx
So I can run my suppressor on it. It will give you just a little more velocity but mainly the suppressor.
So with the threaded barrel, do you need that unit that’s sticking out passed the slide to be on or can you just leave it off until a suppressor goes on?
@@gearrunner Ah, so it’s just a protector then. Super unfamiliar with barrel stuff, only had a threaded one on my Canik that I never touched, but was curious since I’m going to apply for suppressor tax stamp bullshit.
@@extremeencounter7458 Yea, it just protects the threads when the suppressor isn’t on it so they don’t get damaged
@@gearrunner Makes sense, figure all the debris flying out could mar them. Does it affect conceal-ability at all?
Why do the reviews always start AFTER the mag release is installed? That piece is a PITA to install and it would be nice to see someone who has figured out an easy way to put it in (I have three P365s with WC modules and I still haven’t figured out an easy way to get that mag release in…)
You still running the tundra these days? Treating you well i hope!
What tall night sights are you running on that pistol? They look like Night Fision. Thank you.
Man, I need to start making youtube videos and get popular. I want some of these guns lol
Is that the true precision barrel?.
So I got the module and in inserted the mag release button and the spring came out but the button is stuck in the module somebody help me out how do I get the mag release out the module to reinstall it ?
well just as long as it looks good
Did you get the carbide weights with it that goes in the grip?
@@whatsup24_7 I’ve heard that but not had a chance to check for myself. They sent this while I was in Florida last week.
I don't understand why they don't make those enhanced fire control units in black... I haven't seen them if they do at least. And I've looked for them. Not exactly something you can easily paint at home.
Can I use my regular holster with this?
Dang I wish wilson would send me grip module for mine
how come your doing gun only video ..like them but so are truck videos
One reason is that I hated the new Tundra so much that I didn’t want to buy one. My original plan was to buy one of those and start a build on it and show how to install parts. That all changed when that truck came out. I’ll probably still have some truck and car content on here periodically but it will probably be when it warms back up here. Just need to figure out what else I can to do my truck that I haven’t already done.
Did you get the weights?
@@gearrunner Tungsten weights that go in the module to better balance out the recoil.
@@gearrunner they’re 20.00 and they seem to help .
I like them and it does make it a little more balanced.
You have to use the silicone it comes with for the tungsten weights or they will turn your grip module into a rattle box. I wouldn’t get them unless you plan on keeping it.
How much do they run ??
Ok thanks I was just looking at them I forgot I follow them on Facebook lol
If anyone is interested I am selling my Wilson Combat grip module along with a matching magazine base plate.
@@KindaShyBro
Brand new. I put it on, didn't like how it felt it was a little too aggressive so I took it off
You might be familiar with this scenario? My FCU moves around in the Sig grip module. I'm just trying to remedy that. Did you have that issue with the Wilson combat?
The Wilson Combat grip modules are fantastic. I have them installed in several handguns and they make a world of difference. Thank you for the video.
It does few very good in the hand. Very ergonomic
