if you all remember her role in mannequin, you all should hold to account her rocketing the movie to TOP THREE of all time in 1987 because of her incredible acting there, not in this movie.....without her and sylvester levay harley ride scene ( 1 of of the most romantic scene ever on any movies )that film will do nothing...a good movie is a movie that will stick with you 30 50 80 years later

Big Trouble In Little China Is still one of the greatest movies of that decade imo , both this and Mannequin are endlessly rewatchable classics. Kim Catrall made every 80s movie she was In better , and the quality of so many memorable soundtracks during scenes like the one you mentioned was at an all time high , music played a huge role In what made these movies magical , we'll never have scores/soundtracks as consistently great as this decade provided again , they had hooks and heart.
