Yes Leslie, you scored a grand slam home run with that delightful movie.
My favourite movie as a kid showed my kids and they approve
Mel Gibson e George Miller 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Mel Gibson Med Max 👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
The simmering racial antipathy of The South USA in the 1960's gives Parker's film its edge, but Alan Parker said that when the crew and actors went down to a small town in Mississippi to make the movie, they were treated quite well by the townspeople....
He s so talented.
I’ve heard she had some Polish ancestry…..
美貌与智慧及善良的人间天使!这丑陋的世界不配有他!
Chevy is a bit sniffly here
Seconds is a great movie(least romantic kiss Ive ever seen), thats a compliment.
As a child swimming in that very pool, she envisioned the movie role she would have without realizing! She is a powerful manifestor!
R. P. was such a magnificent actor! He was handsome, charming, so talented and he was a triple threat! He could sing, dance and act! He was a good man!
Pvt. King hauling his butt on that Slick on his way home was one of the best scenes in Platoon. Like you'd been there, done that and survived. MAGA Nam Vet.
He is a great actor and a good man.
he's an extraordinary actor indeed and an extremely intelligent and fascinating man
Rarely get to see this highly honest and intellectual side of Gene. Pretty cool!
Rick Zumwalt was really funny on the episode of Perfect Strangers that he did.
he seemed so laid back here. also polite. he really changed in later interviews :/
That’s his Wild at Heart cut .
LABYRINTH When Jareth first saw Sarah Williams for the first time he was drawn to her for her creativity in her imagination. Sarah believed in creatures like Gareth and/or could accept such creatures as potentially being real. That is sometimes where in the modern world. Sarah Williams is a beautiful and innocent 16-year-old teenager with childlike behavior. Sarah Williams is also on the autistic spectrum, It is Sarah Williams beauty in her innocence the drew Jareth's attention to her. When Sarah William's Reading ship came to a close with a man named Tim. That was when Jareth began to start stalking Sarah Williams. As Jareth was once again preoccupied by Sarah after Jareth was unable to win the love of the abulation of that he formed from Sarah's dreams. Jareth's main soul targeted goal is to lure Sarah Williams into a dream world in Willed her to stay with him there forever. Jareth would even would go as far to keep Sarah Williams like some from a favorite pet.
When he looked at the camera at 2:21 I died I love him sm 😔
Many actors have said she’s a real witch to work with
Seeing Blaster all soft spoken is weird.
Dynamic actor along with Hackman
From todays perspective Rutger Hauer is a bit of a simpleton
Great actor! Both Defoe and Hackman should have received Oscars! Portrayed fabulous FBI Agents!££
I travelled in Cambodia in 2004. In Siem Reap I happened to come across a book Pol Pot, Brother No. One. I bought it which became my read during stay, visit to places along Mekong River during cruise, the capital, Tuol Slang, Killing Field memorial a few Kilometres out of Pnomh Penh. I remembered Pol Pot order to evacuate capital. I just closed my eyes and tried to visualise an empty metropolis, inhabited only by cats and stray dogs and no human being. I have watched the film Killing Fields several times.
Great in Woody Allen's Interiors.
i love this man always
pure class
The movie was crap but thank Joel to bring Alicia Silverstone into Batgirl. At that time we knew she was born to wear the costume. You made our dream come true.
Once upon a time in america will always be the best FUCKING MFKING MOVIE EVER!
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii eat youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu to lincol hawk
My life was incredibly similar to his. This movie got me through some hard times.
Is it me, or did Sylvester seem more chill then, and like a complete douche now?
Dammit Jim, I’m an actor not a doctor!
This isn't an interview
Didn't know they made a movie of one of my favorite books!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Quanta strada fantastica che ha fatto questo ragazzo. Meraviglioso. ❤Questi giorni è a Venezia 🎉🎉🎉 applaudito da tutti. Dovrebbero mandare i suoi film nelle sale cinematografiche come "Bull Durham". I nostri giovani li stanno allienando 😢😢😢😢😢
R.I.P Rick Zumwalt. I love going back to this. I'll say it again. I really wish i could have met him when i was at the age this movie was made. Mind you i had nightmares about Bull Hurley a few nights after watching Over The Top back then! 😂😮😂. Movies like this made me always want to see & visit the USA. I still hope to before my times up!.
Where are you from?
@@harleydavidson1014 The 🇬🇧
@@yazman75 Oh kk. I always wanted to visit the UK. I have Welsh heritage, and I'd like to see where my ancestors came from. I actually come from Welsh royalty, you wouldn't know it lol. Would have been nice tho if I grew up in medieval times and was royalty 😂.
@@harleydavidson1014 lol 😆 yes life would have been sweet for you back then being from Welsh royalty! . I'm from Preston, England myself. In the North West. About an hour from Liverpool and Manchester. Preston is a smaller city compared to them & Birmingham & obviously London being the capital. All the best to you @harleydavidson1014
Peter is a wonderful human being. I met him before a concert. It was like meeting an old friend.❤
Why? Who cares?
happy 60th birthday rosie perez !!!!
This week I watched a special 2-disc edition of The Killing Fields- I'd not seen it in 40yrs and am pleased to say it is still a superb film. Joffe contributed a commentary; in the first two-minutes he mentions taking possession of the script. I waited for him to say "by Bruce Robinson". And waited. At NO POINT in his commentary and nor indeed in the special BBC Omnibus documentary on the making of the film does he or indeed David Puttnam mention Robinson ONCE or give him even a word of praise or consideration. It was absolutely disgraceful. The pair of them- though especially Joffe- should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for such an egregious insult to a great writer and indeed director. How to account for it? Jealousy? Envy? Who can know. I know this, though: Without good writing NOTHING of value happens on screen. Nada. Zip. Director, actors, editors, production design, score- it's all for nought if there is no story, plot, and superb, heart-stirring dialogue. In the unlikely event Bruce Robinson should ever read this and ever visit Moycullen in County Galway, the vinos on me!❤ Kevin Whelan, Finn Sceal, Moycullen.
Gene has been in everything from superman to mississippi burning to enemy of the state , a brilliant actor
What a beautiful man and actor he was.
I'm straight as an arrow but he was one of the best looking actors in Hollywood
So happy that there were no DEI hires in the movie.
I immediately bought Splash! on DVD when I learned Disney had edited the movie when they put additional digital hair on Daryl Hannah’s butt when they showed it on their awful streaming service. Modern culture is wrecking entertainment more than anything. At one time, Disney made great movies that entertained people of all ages, but now all they know how to do is produce horrible live action remakes of their classic animated films and acquire intellectual properties from other great artists and completely wreck what they worked so hard to create.
Not the job of the interviewer to put words into the mouths of his subjects. On a side note, she is otherworldly beautiful.
Still crazy that he was 69 when he died..I thought he was in his 80's
