1 year ago I saw this interview and made the decision to sell my gym, my businesses along with my car and possessions to leave Aus for Peru to sit with Don Howard Lawler for 8 days of intense, Excrutiatingly painful Aya ceremonies and all I can say is, life has never been the same.
I now live my dream life in Utah preparing for many adventures ahead. Life isn't happening to me anymore. It's happening FOR me.
Tim, Aubrey, I want to thank you men.

Ecstatic dance has changed my life not only for the movement but for the community. So many powerful emotions have come up when dancing w partners esp contact improv, I’ve been lead to tears and cried like a baby on a strangers shoulder, in that nonverbal space its so transformative!

I dealt with mental games from both parents during their divorce. They were constantly trying to pin us against the other. Threatening us that we owed them our love no matter what. I ended up having debilitating social anxiety because of lack of trust. I never felt good enough about myself and my worth to even be around people. I’m still learning to let my guard down, but I can now get past the instant reaction of *look down, don’t say anything* and actually smile at strangers and introduce myself. Thank you for sharing your story Aubrey.

Very insightful interview. Loving the new format Tim! After listening to Aubrey on JRE, I decided to fly to Peru and drink Ayahuasca 3 years ago. I ended up creating my TH-cam channel shortly after, which has created many opportunities and growth for myself. So thank you Aubrey :p haha

I got into some of Gabrielle Roth's work more than a decade ago...dancing is a wonderful way to connect mind, spirit, and body. I also love snowboarding on a microdose. Thanks for the musical suggestions! Great stuff. I was just talking to a couple young female friends of mine about how encouraging some of the masculinity work I see out here is. I appreciate you both as humans and as men.

This is great, I really like the video format. Great interview with Aubrey, his level of self awareness is impressive, especially realizing that his recent issue with trusting men had stemmed from issues with his father. Most people will go our while lives without being able to even realize our daddy issues, let alone resolve them.
