Great memories of GIB there. As he's approaching me & my mates would sometimes be on the beach (left hand side as he approached on the Spainish side) watching these planes land. By the time they got that so they were so close. Watching them take off, best view was obvisuly (for those that know the area) is either side of the runway, while the barriers are down. Having said that. Could be abit of a nuisance if one's running late for work!!!

Ah, my former workplace on the right there. Used to work in ATC 88-91, my second tour in the RAF. Nice.

That looks like an unusual low approach, nevertheless nice😁
It's not the landing that's scary its the other aircraft lining up to take off while you are backtracking. Hope they don't do that in bad weather.
