Congratulations and thank you for producing a beautiful account of your walk along the WHW. I personally shall have harsh words to say to each and every midge you encountered on your trip. They are Scotland's curse.
Thank you so much. Very kind of you to say. Enjoy your trip. You will have so much fun. Might I suggest that you don't buy the cheapest midge net that you find (like I did)? It turns out the holes in some midge nets are still large enough to let those little biters in :)
Most days we had midge experiences, but they were only for specific stretches of hiking. I'd suggest getting a good-quality (midge-specific) face net, bringing gloves and long sleeves, and not stopping when there are many midges around. Enjoy the hike!
@@aisle2 I've seen a lot of people who have posted one for each day on the WHW and with the quality of your video I would really have enjoyed seeing 7 of them and hearing your thoughts and opinions. But in any case thanks again for posting your enjoyable video and I'm going to watch it again now.
Congratulations to you all.
Thank you!

Haha I was just reminiscing with my friend about this hike. Midges and all, it was an amazing experience. Thank you for your comment.
Outstanding video- subscribed
Thank you very much! I am hoping to do more traveling soon if things will open up, and then I can publish more videos.
I have watched lots of West Highland Way videos and yours was the most enjoyable. We will be walking this in summer!
Thank you so much. Very kind of you to say.

Thanks for the positive feedback and for the sub!
Just enjoyed watching it again and I apologise for the midgies on behalf of all Scots. Hope you do it again and take some more videos!
Brilliant drone footage. Can I ask what drone you were using?
Thanks! It's actually a Mavic Mini (1st Generation), plus an iPhone 11 for most of the non-arial footage.
Were most of the way midgets a problem or only in specific parts of your journey? I am also planning to do it mid august

Great photography - wish the video was longer though and with more commentary.
Thank you the feedback! I was worried it was already too long :)
